Thank you for the review unfortunately when I used on in my shrimp tank they were able to squeeze in between the bars so no good for shrimp tank! Any suggestions to help sort would be great!
Here's what I hate about snails: they are in direct competition with my fish and shrimp fry, so in order to make sure they get food I need to overfeed to get good survival rates, but I only have to overfeed because of the snails. This makes it an exponential problem, you over feed a little to overcome the snails, but that makes MORE snails, so you basically are just building a snail army when you're trying to keep (especially) shrimp fry alive. I might get this trap and give it a shot, although I've cleared out most of the larger snails in my tank, I might need to find another trap better suited towards little ones.

+Gabriela Cafazzo I honestly haven't tried it with shrimp. It could be that the "trap doors" are too heavy for them to lift but I couldn't say for sure. I do know that baby plecos will get caught in it (learned that the hard way).
That is good....thats a decent price too. If I just hadnt bought some recently, Id get some from ya....I will for sure keep you in mind for next time. Ill spread the word if I hear somebody needing them.

I can confirm this definitely catches shrimp as well. I had more shrimp than snails the next day.

I haven’t used it in a shrimp tank but I imagine if a snail is holding the door open they could get in.
I think the mts snails are good and when you have to much for me I sell my guppies to my local fish store with a free 10 mts snails

if you smash the ramshorns against the glass your shrimp will eat the snail as food
