THIS... Back in ADV / DPP base 100 was like being really fast a good speed tier amazing I might say. BW base 110 was amazing, and after that speed tiers really stayed the same way for the most part... But after Pult, Zera, Regieleki, all these new mons... Gengar looks slow XD
It's crazy that you mention how iron valiant's speed is "low", but then you go back even to like gen 6 or 7 and such a speed stat would make almost anything that's already strong even crazier How far have we come, huh?
I'd just like to say that Lokix is also our first viable physical Tinted Lens user. It doesn't matter too much but it adds some variety to this pool of unusual mostly bug types
I love Chien-Pao as well, it's almost perfectly fits the strong but fair description of things like Iron Valiant, I've been loving a lot of the new dark types ever since last gen, Galarian Moltres is my fav pokemon and Chien-Pao is not far behind, great pokemon
As someone who's recently taken an interesting competitive singles with the new gen, your videos offer so much insight into the competitive scene with a unique lens. It's really refreshing from most other showdown poketubers :)
For me iron thorns has to be the most dissapointing mon this gen, even iron jugulis has at least a slight stat modification, but mecha ttar just lost spdef for a bit of speed which doesnt help it much They couldve at least went the roaring moon route and rearrange the stats so that even if it looses bst its also good or even better than the normal one In general the bst's of paradox mons are wierd i think they shouldve chosen different mons to not be this restrictive with bst's
personally I prefer slitherwing over iron moth even if the moth is stronger and better in ou. The design is interesting, liked the ingame animation, and there isn't many bug fighting types roaming around.
Im actually genuinely happy with alot of the pokemon that released this gen, Im happy that some of the best ones are ones I like, like I used to use a Donphan back in gen 6 UU and using a better version of one in Gen 9 OU feels awesome, and Iron Valiant being a mix of 2 pokemon that I liked to use as megas is also awesome to use, and Im pleasantly surprised by how much fun Gholdengo is to use, I stated using one as a "necessity" for DK in a pyramid but I actually really like using him in general now Game Freak really out did themselves honestly, revived my love for the franchise
Tinted lens is very cool on a dual type that both have no immunities or even immunity/resistance abilities, and also only one overlapping resistance in fairy (small correction, it is possible to resist tinted lens. 4x resist becomes normal 2x resist, however you need 2 overlapping resistances for anything to 4x resist both stabs, for example bug-steel would still be resisted by Heatran) Especially when it’s not ridiculously overtuned. Its attack is reasonable and of the types that meet these requirements (bug, dark, rock, flying, fairy, steel),They picked bug-dark, not something stupid like fairy-steel (being on this list is also one of the bug type’s biggest advantages and a significant advantage of dark, whereas for types like fairy and steel, it’s an afterthought).
Earthworn is harder to say than quaquaval, imo I think depende on tis roots. For those used with portuguese and spanish language is very easy. On the other hand, th is a hell for us.
You know how how ridiculous power creep has gotten when base 116 speed is "not that fast"

man inflation crazy now bruh 😭😭😭😭
affecting the food I buy and now the pokemon I play
@@jjt171 lmao
I was about to say the same thing
They need more base stat nerfs in the next game. Just to combat their own power creep.

But it's not viable
@@larseunic you have made a wonderful observation, take that to someone who asked about whether or not bug types are viable

its the old gen perspective

I would have liked if they made it a special attacker

cmon game freak free Buzzwole already
I think it's an awesome mon too. It's a Balanced mon in a world of OP Nonsense
Great Tusk reminds me of Landorus but more offensive and just fun in general.
He's Lando but rather than spamming u-turn & intimidate like a beech, GT is pure big dick energy
A rapid spinning fighting type reminds you of Lando-T…?
@@patrickburton1401
Bulky stealth rocker with a strong ground stab and hard hitting offences does remind me of Lando
And also not so ugly it's ugliness is a war crime
Still able to fuck your day up if it runs enough defensive investment along side rocky helmet and rocks

Yes. Lokix is underrated
wtf ur channel is actually a hidden gem
„It’s just hariyama but as a robot“
Yeah that’s kinda the point isn’t it?
Iron hands should have had an ability that contact moves have a chance to paralyze. Like a reverse static
I really like ur vids bro, ur def one of my fav Pokemon UA-camrs !

Tbh i HATE Iron Valiant's booster energy speed set. It sweeps You unless You have a poisom type
Your opinions are built on experience, so I could never disagree with them.
Lol thinking if a pokemons name or look is “cool” or not is pretty easy to agree or disagree with.
That's a lot of Paradox gaming!
Was very surprised our humble Goldman Sachs representative Gholdengo didn't make the list
Loving your stuff!
Top 10 lists go absolutely bonanzas!!

dongozo can check chien-po (tara dark crunch +def drop 30% but feels like 100% and takes half hp)
back when this vid was made, tera dark was not used much mostly bc annihilape was still allowed
thoughts about iron valiant and using knock off?
it's a good option.
top tier vid
I hope Great tusk completely replaces landoT because that crap is so ugly a war crime is even better than looking at it
What's your beef with Garganacl?
DONKEY KONG IS TRAPPED INSIDE THE PYRAMID
No Iron Fellow?
Cool!
dissatisfied that noobgamer97 wasn’t #1
a least favorite list video would be awesome
Great!
Now are we gonna get a 10 of your least favorite list
No funny gold man? Disappointed
Gholdengo is a Con Artist!!
