- In this Fallout 76 CAMP tutorial we are going to be building a clean & modern Motel CAMP. The location we are using will be near the miners monument. While this build may not be what your after, or if you can't copy exactly due to the glass walls, you will should at least be able to get some tips & tricks for this vid or even some ideas you can use in your own CAMP builld!

Those railings really do look good. And pipe is life. That looked like a pain to build but it looks wonderful.

Incredible build. Sure wish I could get some catwalks, they seem essential in just about any build video I've seen.
Thank you, cat walks are useful but you can still do these kind of builds without them just not always as accurate.

@@TNG76 Not gunna lie, stairs and upper floors in Adventure make me break out in a sweat and give me a nervy twitch. Probably why all my builds there are single storey or decorated pre fabs 🤣

I REALLY whish they would fix the building mechanic in this game. I mean WHY didn't they just make it so that ANY piece could snap to ANY other piece? I mean how easy would it have been to simply code it so that each item had multiple snap points on it? I mean the easiest would be the corners of every item would snap to the corners of every other item and in the case of angled pieces snapping to non angled ones, it would just snap to the closest corner first. But you could also have snap points halfway between the corners and in the center of pieces to allow floors, ceilings and walls to overlap if need be to make them shorter or taller, that way you wouldn't even to make shorter or taller versions of walls at all. It would have been SUPER easy to do and would even be LESS work to do, instead of creating multiple variations of pieces they could have just allow the player to rotate/angle/overlap existing pieces. I just REALLY hope that IF they have base building in Starfield, that they have MASSIVELY overhauled the building mechanic.
100% the mechanic's are a PITA to get used to!

The Railings at 6.45 how the fark do they click in? I have tried every possible angle and they just dont turn green. Do I have to have a certain roof on there to make it snap?
Or do you change it to a floor?
You should just be able to place them, daft question have you turned snapping off using sqaure?
