I was asked by a viewer to put together the blueprints that I use the most, so after some thought, I compiled 10 (with some variations). I was not the originator of some of these, many are as old as the earth itself and I have no clue where they came from. Oh my goodness. as someone just coming over from Fallout 4 and having done some major impressive settlement builds, I feel like I'm at war with this game every time I try to build anything. Your video is so helpful, and your dry sarcasm is amazing.

Thank you for sharing this with the community! There were definitely a couple of new ones for me in here and some improvements on creating blueprints that I will be able to use . After listening to your explanations I think I understand the in game mechanics that governs the blueprint/ Place anywhere trick much better and may be able to find new ways to use it. Now off to a workshop to experiment.

Fantastic putting these all together & added a couple tho my blueprints were full! Played with the bridge a lot tonight, you can mix match and mesh them with other flooring 👍

@@misterchurch666 I have a bad time with discord seems like... Any notes on sandwiching the wooden foundation stairs between two walls on the left and right? I got it to work once or twice I swear but am struggling to recreate it. I feel like I have to use a certain half wall so I'm just sort of hacking away rn building and burning 🤠
@@aceofdatabase I think they don’t fit, they have to be backwards walls is the only way I’ve been able to do it
@@misterchurch666confirmed they can fit with a wall on either side through the magic of burnt catwalks and the original brick set only. The more you know. 🐱

I work in games and manufacturing as a 3d modeler so I'm used to having all of the tools at my disposal but there's something about accomplishing interesting designs while fighting limitations in a system like people do in Fallout 76 that's just so fun. Been playing since launch and I still come back to see if I can come up with something interesting. If Bethesda just added dev tools to make these glitch camps easier it'd probably make it less fun lol.
I agree there is a unique sense of accomplishment and pride in figuring out something “impossible”! I wouldn’t mind it being more accessible though, at the same time. The way I see it, I push limitations, and if you move the limitations I’ll still try to find ways to push them
That catwalk and bridge ones are awesome. Geez those 2 and the stairs one I could have used so many times for pathways on builds 🤦🏻♂️👌🏻

PS- it might not be the cleanest design but the bridge/shed, I wonder if a wall doorway will fit in it. Make a tiny house build out of those pieces 🤔
Thank you! And yeah I think the top corners of the wall will poke out a little bit but otherwise it covers the spot well
(At 21:24) The thing about the item is floating, if you place a standard big rug from the build menu down on the floor tile then the blueprint (Free wall), it will place the blueprint. Then you can delete the rug and the cooler.
While watching this, I learned so much.

Do these techniques work inside Shelters too? If so, would it be best to blueprint outside a shelter before using them inside?
do you know how to put two of the triangle walls together so one slopes up and the other down. I was trying to do a sci-fi theme base and want a more pointed streamline look

Hey, put two rugs under the doorway on a place anywhere wall blueprint to place it on a foundation/prefab etc

Is there a way to do the circle trick with second floor pieces? I've got a camp that's clipping past the floor, and I would really love to have circular floors for the greenhouse dome.
You can’t with floor pieces, but you can use roofs. If you set the roofs up above where the foundations are, they will all flip. You can then burn them to add some to the middle to cover the hole. You can also just build and burn them if you don’t want to make a new blueprint

Where do you get the catwalk? I can't find it in the atom shop or in the camp building menu.
It is atom shop, but it’s not always in the shop! You can open a ticket with Bethesda and purchase them that way if you have enough atoms on hand
I see what you did with that cooler thing, it was cool.
Used to be able to just blueprint 2 poles together and place them anywhere you want, including floating, but no because you could make floating foundations and that's just too much darn fun for a Bethesda game.

What can i do if i do not have the catwalk? Roofs do not work with a pole at the end and a rug
There isn’t a substitute for the catwalks, as nothing else functions the same way. They will return to the shop, or you can put in a ticket with Bethesda support and buy them that way if they aren’t in the shop but you have the atoms :)

The floor glitch alot with the Circle of Glory... Do you have any tips for that? thank you !
Someone said in the comments that if you alter the height of every other floor piece by a hair, it doesn’t do the glitchy thing. The only other thing really is to cover it up with rugs unfortunately
Is it possible to make multiple flipped floors at once? Like make it wider? Instead of doing it one at a time?
good question. The foundation won't flip if there are any other foundations snapped to it it. This means you can't flip multiple side-by-side foundations unfortunately

Can you do the free place walls and stairs etc without the catwalk? Is there a substitute?
yes, kind of! You can use that atom shop scaffolding to float stairs as well (you can delete the scaffold after snapping stairs to them) but the catwalks are way easier to use

@@sk0omaalters96 lol I would have been surprised, it was only in the atom shop once! I recommend making a ticket and asking for the catwalks (if you have the atoms they will let you purchase items this way)

do you mean like upper floors or a bigger circle?

@@propowa9215 unfortunately no, because it would require the upper floors to be floating individually. You can however use roofs and they will flip the same way as the foundations will if you put them over the walls (and keep the walls facing inward) for the middle, just burn the roofs in place and fill in the gaps

I did it in fallout worlds and it’s not problem cause I can just attach the floor and fill in the gaps, in the real world I have to check what you said but I still don’t have the flamethrower
Where do I get the plan for the catwalks?
catwalks are atom shop items, there are basic and alien catwalks (both work exactly the same!) so wait till they are in the store (they cycle through pretty regularly!) if you have the vines (also atom shop), it is possible to use them instead - I have a more recent blueprint video with more info if you need! Hope this helps

How do you move items so precisely on Playstation? Whenever I try to adjust things, they start flying all over the screen.
You can turn sensitivity down in settings, I also use a controller that has a longer right joystick so you have slightly more control. It gets stick drift and then it flies all over the screen and I edit most of that out 😂
