- Ey up guys it's TNG and here it is a guys an actual tutorial! Been far too long since i've uploaded a proper build tutorial. This one shows you how to make a Modern cliff top log cabin, complete with a fishtank! Hope you all like it guys!

Soon as the glass walls was finally in the shop, I knew I had to give this amazing build a go! Thank you very much!
Well. That's one way to do it... that's the beautiful thing about this busted build system. There's multiple vessels we can use to cross the pond, and arrive at the same destination.
I haven't actually covered foundation merges... yet. It's on the agenda this week though. Preemptively promoting my content. Are you clairvoyant?
Nice tutorial and video! As StoleYaSweetroll said there's often more than one way to accomplish things with the building system an you definitely showed me a different way to stack the slanted walls. However, every time I try to offset a foundation free handed I end up messing up the height or placement slightly. Instead I build a stairway up attach a half upper floor and then another stairway down so I can snap the foundation exactly a half floor over at exactly the right height. Keep the great builds and tutorials coming.

Thank you for all these tricks! I have to say the trick to breaking the half walls to make railings is just GENIUS. I always build with my upstairs looking down into my bottom story and I hate all the railings I have, none of them fit with the cabin aesthetic so I'm so excited to try that! Thanks for the awesome video and giving me a couple chuckles lol love the sarcasm 😂

An easier way I've found when I want to move a foundation piece half way like you do is to use 2 stairs, 1 full upper floor and 1 half floor. Stick a stairs down going up attach the full floor then the half on it side going back down then attach your foundation and your done.

lol what would we do without that flamethrower. Beautiful cabin mate. Love your videos.
When moving the foundation for the halfway mark... use a 1/2 metal walkway, bring that floor over to it and it will snap into place, and you have the perfect HALF movement.
Yeahhh so much easier doing it that way never knew about it when i made this video

Hi TNG, that’s a lovely build ! Do you know if all those trick are still working ? I’m having an issue for the nuke window. I can’t put the glass wall after burning down the top arch, game says that there is a collision (With the floor on top I assume ?) Is there a way to fix that ?
In regards to using the Flamethrower trap, Is just shooting it also possible?
Hello big fan of your build, but I can't get the the floors to snap back after you recess the first half walls once destroyed, have they fixed this?
@@TNG76 yeah I followed your instruction mate but it wouldn't let me do it with the half's I had to change them to doors then move the foundations swapping the doors back over, it's a weird one mate
Owe my god I finally finished this build after 3 hours then had to restart a good 6 hours extra to rebuild and decorate I hate building now
Is it possible the step to add the glass wall after you burn out and repair one of the brick angle walls got repaired recently? I've removed the foundation, but it will not let me attach the glass walls - intersect with an existing object comes up. Any suggestons?
Thats very very strange, i dont think it has i was messing around with it last night, well something similar, and it worked ok 🤔 have you tried using a different build set

Hey, apparently on the first part of the tower, you can't change the brick to the log cabin. It gives me the same error message your getting, but it won't change them. If you or anyone knows a work around, plz tell or that tells me that they "fixed it"....Either way, I love the idea that I'm going to recreate it, but cuz the tower isn't working for me, I'm putting a little twist to it.

Why not jut add stairs then half floor then stairs down then move foundation to snap to 2nd ladder

On your next video on bugs, could you address the nuka-girl skin texture bug?
I really like this design and your tips in the video, but this speaks to a very niche player base as I imagine most players don’t have glass walls. I hate how Bethesda blocks items like this from players hands who can’t grind every season. It baffles me that they offer a premium membership and still make items out of reach for them.
Aye the glass walls are still a point of contention, they'll introduce a similar set at somepoint I reckon
they make it so difficult why would anyone want to give them money to waste time trying to do this XD

@TNG 76 i just honestly believe if more people held there feet to the fire, we wouldnt be getting lazy broken games on release. Nintedo sega games werent like this trying to utilize DMCA encryption and constant internet connection to be able to play. There greed has surpassed there ability to even create anything enjoyable.
Only you could whistle on yer pet flamethrower and inadvertently wake up my big, snoring Ridgeback while I was in the middle of cutting up steak for me pot of chilli that's now three ounces lighter than it should been... 😑
