Work with people who own land that may support it. The problem is those who support legal pits arent usually there for the cars. Its a gang mentality of being in a big group and disrespecting the laws. The second you make a legal pit, a large majority of the audiance and drivers would fall off. On top of that you have no good "role models" or faces for the scene. Drifting has stand out people throughout, takeovers/sideshows have thugs.

What I don't understand is all these car "enthusiasts" who hate take overs are the same people who post "cutting up in traffic l" videos doing 80-150mph in traffic as if that's any more safe then take overs. I know exactly how he feels about driving stick shift. I only have a 2006 Honda accord 5 speed and even though it’s not my nicest/newest car it is by far my favorite to drive. There’s just something about driving a manual that makes you feel more connected and engaged with your vehicle. You’re more aware and actually have more control even though you have an extra step to go through while you’re driving. It’s sad that a lot of newer cars aren’t manual and have paddle shifters now and yes, it’s much faster but it takes all the fun out of driving. Luckily, you can still get a brand new WRX with a 6 speed manual transmission and that’s my all time favorite car, I’m currently working towards one and I cannot wait until I obtain it.
