+TimedropStudios I haven't played it in a while, but I used to always have trouble with the level 3 mission where you need to race Milhouse to the Springfield sign. I used to cheat it by driving my car up to the Springfield sign, running back to the Squidport, starting the mission, then running back to the sign while it says "get in your car"
When I was a kid, I played this game so fucking much that I actually found most of these glitches on my own.

+Freako Damn, I had only 2 glitches: NPC-rocket when you stomp their head; and nigh on impossible to get - for some stupid reason NPC's AI glitched and some character jumped and fell onto the ground in front of me riding a car like if I was going to run her over and she tried to dodge that, I believe such glitch occurs by itself and you can't do anything.

When a game is so good that even its glitches are amazing
They should remaster this or bring out a new one.

I remember when I finally finished the set to kill mission. I didn't use this glitch, I did it normally, and I was so happy because I then finally 100%ed the game

+triplechocolate887 I think you need to sprint a little bit before kicking them with the very toe of your foot to launch them.
I remember something that confused me was that as the ghoul car, or what ever, sometimes steering hard right would land you out of bounds, but I was too young to know it was a glitch and just got sad cuz I couldnt find a way back in bounds. Gamecube version.
They need to make a sequal to this already, or at least an HD remaster for next Gen with tons of new content.
***** You have a point, but timeless classics like ratchet and clank, halo, and even mario kart have had hd remasters and sold really well. Its all in how its marketed. I have really fond memories with this game, as has many other people. Other games from this era that I would love to see an hd remaster of would include CoD 2: The Big Red One.

Fuck remasters, let's finally get the sequel this game deserves!! This is, at least in my opinion, the BEST LICENSED GAME EVER! Better than the Arkham series, better than Spiderman 2, better than the first season of The Walking Dead, and so on. It was treated with so much care and attention to detail for the original source material, mixed with fun gameplay and cool enviornments to explore. If I could pick one game to get a sequel, it would most definitely be Hit and Run.
Hit and run was sort of fun, but all of the missions are just driving into floating objects, or walking into them. You don't really do anything. It is a fun game, but not terribly deep. My favourite licensed game was The Warriors...the 2005 one. I'd like to see that remastered. But it doesn't really need it, gameplay was solid.

I like when you switch the ps2 time date to Christmas or Halloween it actually changes the game itself.
I miss this game so much I had this game beat multiple times. Some missions were difficult as fuck. I was 7 at the time :)

My childhood was spent finding glitches in this game. I remember using the horn jump to get into Burns's house long before you were supposed to be able too, and it being not quite finished.
Hit & Run is the best Simpsons game ever. Exloring Springfield is so much fun!
i would stand on peoples heads then double jump smash. some times they would go flying also i would do the swingset glitch all the time i had no idea what i was doing as a kid

There is a PC version. If you have that, then download the Lucas Mod Launcher, you can run the game in your preferred resolutions (with 16:9 support), adjustable FOV, and anti-aliasing.

I remember a glitch that I found that would get me out of the map, it took using the jump cheat to do and the fastest car in the game. When you drive at max speed and use the jump cheat when driving towards burns factory you can sometimes just pass right through the geometry

A glitch I saw during the game was when,p I started level 2, then made sure Milhouse was in the right place, then groundpounded on the bench and milhouse started floating. I was proud
I managed to get out of bounds by accident on level 1 when getting out of my car on the orange bridge, however I was never able to do it again!

I know this video is a year old, but there is a glitch that I found on the Gamecube version when I used to play this game a lot. If you stood on a pedestrian's head in a certain spot, then ground pounded them, they would shoot off into the sky like a rocket. Just a fun little glitch that I loved messing with.

Here is a glitch for you to try Andy that honest to God happened to me. While playing Sonic Adventure 2 Battle on the Gamecube playing multiplayer with a mate. We were playing the first level, City Escape and right at the beginning where you finish the snowboarding section and lose the snowboard, somehow my mate managed to keep the snowboard in the running section. It had really weird physics while he was like this and we have tried COUNTLESS times to recreate this glitch but have been unable to. I imagine it had something to do with avoiding the launchers or a trigger there by either jumping at the perfect angle or clearing the entire thing altogether. Also interesting to consider it may very well be possible to accomplish this in single player too.

The first glitch actually looks like something that would feature in a Simpsons episode.
The fat and the furious one I found by myself when I was a kid, I was all like "I wonder if I could just go that way?" Obviously I couldn't but the next time I realised that the door only appears once the mission starts... so I wanted to know what would happen if I parked my car under it, it smashed it to hell but when I got in I was inside the power plant, driving through I was thinking "please don't let the other end be blocked" and sure enough it wasn't... I love lazy developers!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who had a hard time with 'Set to Kill'. Though the way I finally managed to beat it was by accidentally getting caught in that weird moving arm shortcut. It slingshot me over to the hill so I was able to grab the last few items missing one which I had time enough to get on the way back to the studio. It bought me about an extra 10 seconds and I nearly didn't make it.
