Where’s the review? Road test? Off road test? Can you please make another in depth review video. This is exactly the same lift kit I want to get except with the falcon 3.3.

Will this lift need wheel adapters/spacers if I keep my stock wheels and tires? (2016 Jeep JK Sport with 255/75 R17)

You removed emergency brake line bracket, did you put it back on when finished or just leave it loose? Just concerned as I’m in the middle of putting 2.5 inch teraflex suspension lift with 2.1 falcon shocks, thanks.

Excellent straight forward video. Has every angle needed to get comfortable doing this job before tackling it. I am a little concerned about cutting the bracket around the brake line so I guess I'll have to go back and rewatch that. Is there another way that might be more time consuming but less risky?

Im guessing you got past this by now, but the instructions that came with said to bend it back while it's still mounted I believe.

    • @natewoodard34

I actually figured out how to get it off but bent the control arm bracket doing it. That stupid brake line bracket is the most ridiculously over-engineered crap I've ever dealt with on a vehicle.
I pinned it to the control arm bracket with a set of lock pliers to keep it in place and used everything else I could to bend it and open it up. No joke it literally bent the control arm bracket in the process. Crazy.
Convinced that cutting it with a dremmel wheel is the right way to go here

@@natewoodard34 Thanks - I'll go right for that then. Took me 3-4 hrs just to drill out the passenger side exhaust bolts for the spacer. Doing the same on the drivers side will be impossible if it comes to it - no way to get a drill in there. Did you have to undo the muffler clamp? Another impossibility it seems. They don't mention that in the video.

@@danvitous1085 yeah you will have to undo the muffler clamp. That thing is a PITA too. Soak the crap out of the clamp bolt and the the drivers side exhaust bolts for several times a day for a few days before you go to work on them. Driving it around after soaking it will help expand the joint as well to make it easier to unloosen.
For the clamp, I got it loose with a long box end wrench. You just have to get in position to have good leverage on it. Also make sure you are turning it in the right direction!!!!! I always get turned around when I am reversed from the orientation. After you get it loose, a ratcheting wrench will make easy work of the rest of it.
Also for the muffler be sure you take a chisel and hammer or a dremmel grinder and knock the welded tab off of it (otherwise the front part of the muffler won't push back into the rear section to create the separation). That will come off pretty easily though. I can't remember if that was in this video or not, but it is in the installation instructions.

@@extremeterrain thank you! I do have one.more question though. Teraflex website st2 2.5 inch lift says the wheel needs to have 4.5 or less backspacing and I cant seem to find those wheels with less than 4.75 on that website do you have to add spacers to mount those wheels with that lift?
