I'm glad Singapore isn't stagnating and creating new experiences for locals and international markets. Singapore just always gets the balance right and that comes down to incredible and meticulous thought that goes into these new ventures. Much love from Australia.
Nope. There's barely if not rarely anything to do here. This waterfront is only a tourist attraction, nothing more. And that is what Singapore truly is, a tourist attraction and locals are paying the price. Such as hawker stalls being shut down to make way for more shopping malls.
Use ur brain n think la. Who pays? Rws is a gambling company. N garment letting them expand like that means bigger casino expansion as well means more sinkies in debt.
@@Ggmuftw77 It is not expanding the casino but "Resorts World Sentosa's new waterfront development will include a man-made "mountain trail", two new hotels and four storeys of dining, retail and entertainment options" which is a 15,000-seat entertainment arena and event space.
Went for staycation at RWS last time and felt: 1) not exciting unlike other famous resorts in the world except Universal Studio but full of crowds and priced are expensive 2) The Malaysia Food Street's stalls are mostly closed 3) The retain shops selling luxury goods not appealing as prices are not attracting 4) around RWS no other interesting stalls or entertainment activities 5)the property are badly managed and poor maintenance but dun know about the Casino's operation...
Wonderful, i cant wait to see it - but the main reason i love visiting Singapore is because of its beautiful people, your culture, social standards, work ethic & service standards...this is why SG is beautiful 🤍❤🇸🇬 Without those elements, a building is just another building lah!
i feel like singapore does not need anymore luxury shopping locations or hotels, just needed more entertainment/ marvels that make singapore unique like the supertrees or jewel indoor waterfall. the funds allocated to luxury shopping and hotels can go into greater expansion to universal studios beyond minionland and supernintendo world.
what beach is this guy talking about? waterfront is not the same as beach front. Sand is also a waterfront. both development do not have "beach" since they are facing inland... which does make an interesting question, why don't we have a beach front expansion?

Wonderful. Singapore offers the best artificial entertaintment in tourism anywhere in the world. Mountain trail? We will have a Mars tour too very soon. But it will be a man made Mars.😊😊.
That shows how innovative Singapore is? How else would you prefer to get tourist to see our past poverty state? Maybe we can rejuvenate the night soil system that we used for our sanitations. Have you used it before?
It is very difficult to compete with Hainan, China which is being dubbed the Hawaii of the East. Singapore's strategy for survival is to become an autonomous province of China -one country two systems.
@changboni, you really need to go see a doctor. Who gives a sh*t about hainan island? And, Singapore will always be a sovereign country. We may be small, but we are still a UN member with voting rights. If you are Singaporean, shame on you, and you should migrate to China. If you are those litllw pinkies, just dream on.

Looking forward to seeing these in a couple years! :D
The light structure reminds me of the light structures featured in Night City in the video game, Cyberpunk 2077. So exciting!
Beautiful and prosperous Singapore 🇸🇬 🫶
