Bro I’m a 51yr old boxer from the Uk 🇬🇧 as my boxing club is closed due to lockdown I’ve been using your drills at home..they are excellent the best I’ve found online🥊✔️✔️
Coach you are a gift from the gods. This is especially useful now that most of us can only train solo. Thank you for this and all your magnificent content.
I'm so sorry dude but I got to give u some credit , u have the best way of explaining and perform moves, iv learned so much in my boxing, shout oht from the UK ,
aaah sundays in the 80's ..brings back fond memories sunny sundays in the 80's when things were simpler and more down to earth. altho there are other aspects that I do not miss ;). but back to now. your vids rock thanks for your invaluable work and knowledge.
No excuses!! There is always an area in your game that needs your attention. I hope everyone is stepping away from from the world for at least a couple hours out of the day and creating your own world, for me working on my showdown boxing, kickboxing, Bjj drills for strength and endurance takes me away from the current state of the world long enough to remember that we really are an awesome creation. We’ve been here before and we refuse to leave with out a fight, so rather then tell everybody “ God bless “ I would like to remind you that you already are blessed and we have the opportunity to be a blessing to each other. No excuses!! Go train!!
You & Coach Anthony are lockstep on this philosophy in boxing. You both came at it from multiple angles. Great video. Been learning lots from you. Thanks for this content
We’re all extremely fortunate for your countless videos at a time like this, Jason. Thank you so much for all the tireless work. Even the coaches out there learn something from you every time. 🙏
I am loving the footwork drill videos! I've trained in a TMA and MMA for about ten years and you describe some things that I've done and never thought about and you find little things that I could do to really take those habits to the next level.
Thank you so much for these videos dude. You have no clue how helpful they've been since this all started. Constantly sore. Mind is clear. Can't thank you enough man.
It's been a few years since I watched any of your videos. I've been working angles with a fighter so I wanted to see what you have to say. Great video coach!🙏
this is gold coach thank you for one more hour of drills to do everyday. Please more angle cutting, any footwork vids really they way you just dissapear and pop up behind em is brilliant
Thanks man. Im under lockdown (American in France) and have been trying to get the angle thing going for months. This lock down time Im gonna use to study this, improve jump rope, and learn to juggle. Thanks for the great vid!
Having a great coach is really important, yet so easy nowadays. Ali and Ray Leonard had Angelo Dundee, Mike Tyson had Cus D'Amato. And now, we all have JT. I always learn a lot from your lectures and tips. Thank you so much.
Important tip: When cutting sharp angles, especially when you're doing it fast, keep your core tight. You'll realise you can keep your body in alignment with ease without letting your momentum carry your body out of position to where you are losing balance
Another great video. After watching The first few minutes, I’m thinking OK, I already know most of this. But as with all your content you had something in there that expanded on the basics. The faint and then shift was great. Been watching/learning from you for years. Keep up the great work! 🥊
My man JT I have been following you closely since 5 years now, bought paid content from you and implemented so much from you in my game, and even after all this time when I watch a new video I have that same "damn it that guy's moves are smooth" reaction haha (especially your shovel hook god damn) Very grateful to have you on UA-cam, much love from France 🙏
God bless you coach! I’ve learnt so much from your channel so far. Start to like all the vids before even watching them :)) . Hope you and your family be safe from all of this horrible virus thing. LOVE from Vietnam ❤️
I'm so glad I've found this. I've left boxing class today needing more work on these angles after trying out some combos. thanks for the excellent explanations
Greeting from Saudi Arabia Coach JT, Please do more of these footwork angle tactics which make it difficult for opponents to throw the punch. “Angling to their blind spots”.
Thank you thank you. I couldnt get the body mechanics going the lead side. Especially behind the weight transfer. The "drop" explains everything. Cant wait to try. 80s Sunday? You hit on the chin in NYC
2:10, that's Newton's Third Law in action bro. Great strategy. Use the counterforce of our own attacks to move us on the ground. It actually also takes up lesser energy because the ground is already pushing you to the side you are going in the video, so you are not resisting but yielding. Genius move.
This tequnique is in combination with te switch (sort of Tyson shift, but then how Bazooka Joe does it) very complete. If you do the shift like Joe, you make an angle to the right from a left hand punch, let's say the jab. Your angle technique in combination with that makes my puzzle complete. My sparringpartner cannot see wich way i'm going to angle anymore. From both hands (or slips) i can go to the right or the left in a quick and smooth way. Thanks Jason 👌👌👌👍👍👍
Love your instruction! Balanced feet, hip angles lead to precision strike combos. Highlights need for legs, glutes strength & feet/ankle flexibility.Your teaching helps me in training my clients. Continued success bro!
this is great- the original video with this was hip but never quite figured it out without this explanation of weighting - especially the one going to the left. Also, I could watch a whole video on you doing the fakes into the shift -- thats great stuff.
im supposed to be sleeping now then i see this, got up and started shadow boxing while doing these.
josh1212121 I swear
Well you got the time 😀
That's exactly what I'm doing now... A 43 yr old dude feels like in his twenties lol
Lol buddy boyo, the same
same ! lol

Bro I'm from muaythai, watching your footwork lesson is a whole different world, much apreciated. Thanks a lot. Bless
Amazing tutorial, you got me into boxing. 2 months in and i’ve learned more from you than my actual coaches.
Coach you are a gift from the gods. This is especially useful now that most of us can only train solo. Thank you for this and all your magnificent content.
I tought i was the only one who trained solo
@@ordinarypablo we are alot my friend
"Sundays in the EIghties" brilliant.
I'm so sorry dude but I got to give u some credit , u have the best way of explaining and perform moves, iv learned so much in my boxing, shout oht from the UK ,

What I love to do in sparring is throw 1-2, then shift but simultaneously switch stance and throw lead uppercut and cross. Works very well.
you are my favourite online Coach JVT, i improved a lot by watching your channel day by day. Kudos to you and your team
Whenever I watch your footwork drills, I realize how sluggish I am. I'll have to dedicate some special time to footwork drills.
Wow this solved my problem instantly!! 🙏Thank you. Boxing is insane, such a beautiful way to use the human body.🖖

Golden class of 13 minutes. Love you coach
I really love the concept of "not hopping" but falling with the weight. Very nice
Hi I have just found this video and I feel it is one of the best thing I have ever encountered on UA-cam.
