- I've been getting a little tired of the tragic anime that I normally watch so I decided on something new a soccer anime called Bluelock.

What's great about Blue Lock is that it's a deconstruction of the sports anime genre itself. Even among other sports shows this season, Ao Ashi is also a soccer anime with a main character with great spacial awareness... that's all about team play. It's really interesting to see how these two shows capture such different sides to the competitive angle of high-level play. And the charm of Blue Lock being such a breath of fresh air to the sports anime scene really is something else. Good video my dude!
If more people had read another manga from the same mangaka called "As the Gods will", they would not be surprised by the sheer CRAZINESS that will happen. This mangaka is unpredictable and ruthless. I love it 😊

I played the same sport federated for most of my life and this show hits so close to home. It shows really well what its like to be an athlete and what it takes to become the best!
Bluelock made me start going to the gym. Like seriously this came out a few months ago and ive not quit yet 10/10 anime

Would it be weird if I recommended Goldfish Warning! as an Aachi & Ssipak fan? I guess I'm getting too carried away bragging about obscure anime no one talks about. But I really loved how engaging the comedy in Goldfish Warning was! It's a bit weird to just bring up some unknown show to someone who just wants to watch anime that has action and stuff. I haven't watched a ton of sports anime so maybe I'll get back into watching those again. I did try Yawara! and that was pretty interesting. I might give BlueLock a chance, but first I'm gonna finish up Den-noh Coil.
Blue Lock is awesome and this is coming from someone who lives in a football loving country and who never liked to watch or play football (soccer)

I wasn’t very big on BlueLock. To me the best sports anime is Ping Pong
maybe its just me but a sports anime entirely depending on ego is a very interesting concept that rings true with a lot of athletes. most of their best performances come from when their egos are high enough for them to feel confident in trying unconventional things or just running the offense through themselves and taking lead.
