I started in mid; my friends took all the other roles. I started with Lux until I found Talon, I one tricked him until recently. Now I'm playing the other roles to find which I like best. I'm leaning more to mid and jungle, Lissandra and Diana, respectively.
I first mained support and became a pyke otp. After a few months I started main Toplane where I play more than one champion. Finally after toplane I became a Midlane Main. I love my mages and sometimes assassines. I play mostly Mid, but I also play top.
@@kortello2232 jungler (rangar, kindred, Diana...) and mid (zed, anivia, ryze, quiana...) can carry just as well. All those roles comprise strong independent champions that can snowball a lead. And mid is just as mechanically intensive and you add to this macro making the role particularly difficult to master.
I just played a couple of co-op vs bots matches before trying pvp and everyone was screaming at me. How tf am i supposed to know any of this. I just tried to play a couple games. They have symbols in the game it doesnt say what it means wtf

played since 2011 and for about 8-9 of those years exclusively played adc and peaked diamond. i played just about every champ but always thought i was missing out on something cause i never really gave the others a chance. played a bit of top and mid and got to plat on both of the roles within a month or two then went back to adc. Might give top or mid an actual shot for a whole season and see what i think after that
I started top first cuz a friend said it would be better to learn the fame with a tank so i mained sion garen mundo then tryndamere but then i saw zed and i realised it was the perfect champ for me
I started in Mid with Ahri, with the release of Seraphine I became a Sera Mid OTP, then I played her on support (plus other character) and now I'm maining Sona and Sera on support... and I currently learn Milio
I started with top with mordekaiser until i joined a school esports program where i was put as support where ive been playing since then even though the program is no longer running
Top Lane: Pantheon, Yasuo, Nasus Jungle: Shyvana, Pantheon Mid: Pantheon, Yasuo, Akali Support: Lulu, Janna, Nami, Leona Adc: Xayah, Caitlyn, Jinx Sometimes you gotta learn to play every lane, rank matches has a way of putting you in a lane you wouldn't play otherwise. No matter what anyone says, it's always best to learn three people per role, just incase one or two of your champions are banned 🤷♂️
Mid (Anni, Kass, oriana and anivia) first then bot (sivir) and a little bit of jung (Warwick and J4) but I stopped playing for 2 years (because of studies) but now I'm a jungler since the Warwick rework. I generally play tanky divers (Warwick, voli, sej and the odd udir)
I started as a Mid Lux, after that i switched between zed yone and yasuo, then jungle evelynn, after my acc got suspended on my new account i tried pyke, and im still on him rn, waiting for the suspend to end.
I don't think it really fits that every role has a goal. League is just too dynamic with too many different ways to win. I would say every lane presents a different environment, and certain characters and playstyles suit that environment best. For example, top lane is a long lane, so characters that can sustain or endure fights tend to do well there, as basing is more punishing. Top lane is lonely, it's farthest from Dragon, and farthest from your team, so being self-sufficient is important, and creating pressure there is more effective than creating it elsewhere. That makes it the best lane to be if you want to play a split-pushing juggernaut, but that doesn't mean that the goal of every top-laner is to create pressure. Top lane Orn or Gragas just want to endure the laning phase so they can rock the mid-game teamfights, for example. Top lane is good for them because you are only enduring the pressure of 1 opponent, and they probably won't roam far when they push the wave up, so you aren't punished as much for playing passively. You pick the lane that gives you the best environment for your champion and playstyle.
Started ADC and I’m still an adc (yes I hate my self). I wanna switch but I just don’t trust anyone else to play the role, and I absolutely love playing my main Kai’sa. I wanna go mid, but don’t wanna learn mid.

I've always been a jungler, but I also play support. Taric has been my one trick for awhile now and he's good in both positions.
Top lane is the best one to main guys. Thank me later! Lotta close combat and u learn to split push and outplay, so much fun.

No overlap between supp and jg? Morgana, Maokai, Zac, are pretty meta, and other champs like Trundle aren't unheard of either

I always tell my friends two roles, 3 champs. One champ must be able to play in both roles.
