This how to tutorial will give a step by step process for installing an aftermarket stereo in a 2007-2014 Chevy tahoe GMC yukon Chevy Suburban and many other Chevy and GMC vehicles so lets have some fun with this pioneer head unit install lets turn what would be an expensive process at any car audio shop in a D.I.Y for any car audio lover.

This unit has skyrocketed in price. Online if you can't buy it from Walmart everywhere else it goes for 300$+ if you find this unit for 120.00 BUY IT!!!

@@cardinalred I already got a sub hooked up to the factory unit and I like the turn knob to that adjust the bass.... so I’m torn about hooking the sub directly to the unit... I probably will lol 😆

Hey buddy do you know if the back of this head unit has two rcas for two amplifiers? I know there’s one for a subwoofer amp but I’m not sure if it’ll take a second amp for mids and highs?
All you needed to do is hook the parking brake wire to the black ground of the radio and boom..bypassed

@@reecewrisinger2017 if it's a pioneer you need a 12v spst relay....
@@reecewrisinger2017 there are 5 posts on the relay.....85 goes to the remote on the radio.....86 and 87 both get ground.....30 gets the parking brake wire from the radio
I have whining noise where do I hook up my ground too? Or a better ground than just hooking up to stereo

So my pioneer won't shutoff and sound barely is coming out of the subwoofer. Like what is happening 😅
You have to hook you wire's to the side of the harness that says amplified
