    This is a horrible disease, and we need to find a cure.

    Well done. I like the "Hope costs Money" sign. Very true! Good to know that Stem Cell research, which I have always believed in, is something positive for those with HD. The more you understand what people with HD go through, and their families, the more I want to help this cause.

    @TheHellsangel63 You asked great questions. The age of onset for each person within the same family can be variable, so just because your mother doesn't show signs now does not mean that she won't become symptomatic later. About your aunt speaking in complete sentences in the later stages, yes, this can happen. Everyone is affected a little differently with HD; some people can speak a little whereas others are mute in the later stages.

    Great info and HOPE! Thanks for all of the work you do to make a cure and/or treatment something real! :o) I don't ever want to have to know that my kids will struggle with this disease that I have watched terrorize so many others.

    i have a question huntingtons runs in my familly and my grandmother died from it before i was born and my aunts have died from it and my only surviving aunt is suffering with it now my mother is 48 and has absolouteley no signs t all they all got it when they were bout 35 could this mean she will not get it? i always have hope also sometimes my survivng aunt speeks in sentences just for a minute how comes she can be so alert in her late stages ?
