I'm still a bio undergrad but some of the best literature I've ever read were from literature reviews in Nature. They're long af but extremely easy to understand a lot of the time, even for people without a lot of prior knowledge about these things
If all medical books were replaced by animations like these, medical studies would be less boring, more easy to understand and remember and more attractive.
Remember, medical doctors aren't scientists. Research on cancer and possible treatments are done by biochemists, oncologists...human biology/biochemistry is really hard. Harder than any other disciplines.
The problem is that the animations are limited; Many times what is written in medical books, comes from the direct experience of those who have seen the complexities of tissues. In half paragraph describe more than this animation in 5 minutes, can not do.

No one ever talks about induced Innate Immunity and the interactions of Dendritic Cells, NK Cells, and Macrocytes. We all catch 1 million cancers every day but the cell receptors of these detect them and destroy the malignant cell. So eat your fruits and vegetables, exercise, maintain a slim weight, and avoid excessive alcohol! BTW, I love to create this type animation as a hobby and this one is especially beautiful. And Parham The Immune System is a wonderful book. When I went to med school I was taught things like "somehow muscles contract" and "somehow infections are controlled" but now it seems every step in every signaling pathway has been figured out. It is incredible (and so exciting) how much is now known about the immune system and all the new practical applications of that knowledge!

nice video but some of the information provided are missleading/wrong IL-2 and IFN-a are not efficient therapeutic targets because: 1) IL-2 will also promote the expansion of Tregs leading to immunosuppresion and cancer progression 2) IFN-a could promote lupus-like syptoms
If animation replace all written information then human being will reach to next level because then normal person can understand so much and prohibit any disease by knowing it's symptoms and can seek best medical care
I really loved the video; and in addition, some other mechanisms of immune evasion by tomours would be the loose of the MHC 1 expression so that cell can not be detected by the lymphocyte T, but that can be helpulf for the cells NK to detected tose cells without MHC1. I'm surprised of how tomours can do the same mechanism as the Immune-privileged tissues, so they can decreased or stop the inmune response. And the inmunotherapy is like a way to potencial the functions of the T cells, so they can continue their work.
And after five year also treatment has same status. No progress while we fight for COVID but cancer patients die of lack of available treatment. Specially patients with ALK Negative and PDL1 Negative.
