Man with all the knowledge snooplax has about the history of romhacks I'd love to see a well edited speedrun documentary sort of video where he goes summoningsalt style through all the hacks chronologically talking about the relevant events that took place in the community and all the new techniques hackers started learning over time to make more and more creative hacks
My first thought was: With how many romhacks this dude has played, even just on his channel, he might just be one of the most qualified people to rank 'em all xD
I was extremely curious to see where the sm64 ocarina of time ended up on this list, as it’s my all time favorite, I was so happy to see it get put into S tier
Damn wish this got at least a thousand likes so we could get more! You deserve more exposure. One of the best if not the best youtuber when it comes to sm64 romhacking. I get this kinda video is too big of a scope to just do willy nilly but I hope you can do like an ultimate recommendation list - like top 30 hacks that are all S or A+ tier deserving.
Great video! I really hope this gets to 1000 likes as I would love to see a Part 2 and 3 of this series! I've played through Star Road on console years, but unfortunately the lackluster performance was a bit distracting. Also, some later levels just got way too brutally hard to complete. Any recommendations of Mario 64 for hacks that of a similar challenge to vanilla Mario 64? Sounds like Sapphire is a good one, but are there any others? I'm just not into the crazy hard ones and prefer a more casual challenge.
Last Impact is great enough just in ideas for levels that I kinda want to see it picked up and remade by an actual video game company. (Working with the creator and paying them, obviously.) I just want that to be a thing I can officially buy and that gets actual marketing so more players will enjoy it. Even if it ends up not being Mario anymore because Nintendo doesn't want to make it.
What would you say the true sequel to super Mario 64 would be in terms of ROM hacks out of every game you played I want to buy the one that feels like super Mario 64 2
I really can't play Star Road because of the TERRIBLE camera. That's enough to make me not play this game. Star Revenge on the other hand most of the time has a good camera.
Last Impact was such a huge deal when it came out, I'll never forget it
my glorious king nathaniel B 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Ain't you Nathaniel B?
It had such a huge impact
Yeah it's legit still great.
@@haffey2 A lasting impact, you might even say

Great video Snooplax! I actually found several more hacks I want to play now thanks to this 😂

you forgot b3313, literally one of if not the single most impressive and huge hack out there
These are only the older hacks, this has 3 parts
HOLY CRAP!! Thank you for liking Donkey Kong 64! Both the game and the hack. I love both of those and so many people hate it.

mario 64 ocarina of time is a fantastic hack that isn't really hard at all

I needed this!!!! Snooplax you king amount N64 players!
I'd love to see more of these for other games! Banjo and a Zelda for sure 👌
Great tier list! I want to go back and play some of these
I have to say, my favorite part of Naruto was definitely when Gara became the Kays Cage.
Takua 64 is my all time favorite. Worth a try!!
Alright, one A in the bank, not bad. It's crazy, how many hacks you have played (yes, most are just one level, but still).
Will you ever finish Star Revenge 1.5 on stream or did you do it offscreen?
Hmm... I wonder who is this Snooplax modder, sounds like a really cool guy
Mario 74 is console compatible. Super Sonic Racing Remix is always appreciated.
No Green Stars, No Marvelous Adventure, No Galactic Journey, No Star Revenge, No Kaizo, No Nightmare 64?
Awesome video Snoop!
Actually would love to see more of this.
Aw no Star Revenges? Nice tier list anyway though!
I like rom hacks for oldschool games cause the difference between custom assets and real assets is not as noticeable.
Bruh ofc Nathaniel Bandy commented, that man is obsessed
Uhh, okay, What about the Extreme Kaizo SM64 Rom Hacks Like 74EE?
Star Road is one I didn't know was console compatible
Thank you, nice work !
We are over 1000 likes!!
Word is bond. :p
Please... I need the other parts!!! Give the video likes
I misread this as Presidents rank SM64 rom hacks.
Absolute goat Snoop

What about Another Mario Adventure , I like the day-night system

I'll be sure to reference you in my art...
Did u think i wouldnt notice supersonic racing?
No The Green Stars?
Ya!
Where is through the ages
Please do the next 2 parts
Really interested to see which of these are not64 compatible (wii)
you should try render96
50 hacks and not a single Star Revenge
Zelda the sealed palace
I really can't play Star Road because of the TERRIBLE camera. That's enough to make me not play this game.
Star Revenge on the other hand most of the time has a good camera.
And with Star Road being in S Tier i lost interest in this video. It was good but way too overrated by everyone.
