Going back to cram school after the bus incident, (so when your dad invites you to a party). Im there right now and already spend 18 hours trying to get stoneman and fireman v2, not succesful yet. I do have 5 stoneman v3 though XD. @@scoutmasterdemi_gaming
Great video! This should definitely be a series. And I wonder how many hours it would take to get to Continue 99 in Battle Network 4... can't wait to see you do it lol
I agree, my friend! I think they've added MMBN1 OSS instead of the original MMBN1. OSS added SO much quality of life to this game! Not to mention the extended content.
Took me around the same time. BN2 took considerably more because there are way more chips and rare encounters. Not to mention the PVP only chips... Currently going through BN3
I remember playing bn1 in the legacy collection. There were 3 main points of note in my attempts to get everything done in my save file: 1. I basically always had a map of the net pulled up 2. I grinded out the single-digit% drop rate for the DropDown, LeafShield, and Howitzer chips at busting level 9, because I struggled to pull off fast double deletes. 3. I only ever turned on buster max twice. Immediately against MagicManV3, and on my second attempt onwards at Bass. Don’t know if it was because I was tired of the idea of trying to get high busting levels against them after playing the game for so long, or some other odd reason.
I almost didnt have the stomach for 100% BN1 until I discovered the legend Doicm who had easily replicable step manipulations to spawn all the v3 navis. That + buster max saved probably actual hours of my life Edit/Addendum: Thats what I get for making the comment before finishing the vid. I can say, however, that the step manips are actually more lenient than they appear. The little shimmies as you move dont seem to care how long you hold them, so long as the number of direction changes match. Some are harder than others, like BombMan took me 20 min to get the manip right, but some are as easy as holding a single direction or two.
Hearing you say that they're more lenient makes me much more interested in learning the manips! I saw what seemed to be very precise movements and thought 😳
Yeah the little side-to-side shimmies dont seem to need precise timing or duration, just as long as you do them the proper number of times (as far as I can tell). ElecMan would be a good one to start if you wanted practice, its just up-right to holding up and it just works.
@@scoutmasterdemi_gaming I remember reading online saying it was going to be a long grind because of the odds. I had buster max on and had it done quick and when I saw it I said well time for BN2 😂
This was the first time I 100% a Battle Network game, and I'm never doing that again lol This game was a pain in the butt to complete. I only managed to get some of the chips like SnekEgg2 & 3 and Dropdown because I traded with someone in your server. It's definitely something to be proud of, but in the end it's not really worth the pain. Even with Buster MAX lol
I'm surprised I enjoyed it as much as I did, even with all the frustrations. I think part of me was happy to play something "new" on my favorite series that I never had before : )
It took me officially 19 hours 31 minutes to 100% on my most recent playthrough, although that’s realistically more like 23-24 hours with all the restarts and RNG scumming. Pretty absurd since it only took me 7 hours 30 minutes to clear the actual story.
Since you pretty much just complete the library in BN1, I consider completion when I get Megaman to Lv.100; obtain all HP memories and PowerUps. I don’t really need the entire library if I can just throw 10x copies of a BattleChip and just run through the game with that strategy.
@@scoutmasterdemi_gaming Exactly. And by the time you complete the game; obtaining everything on all the Internet locations: then it’s just a matter of finding every Power Ups and Hp memory that it’s hiding across all the areas; which is mainly the Internet since the special areas hardly have any of them
@demidyourmc with buster max mode and certain v3 Navi it is very easy to farm the 2k rewards and farm chips. Sharkman and SkullMan were the two I would shred apart for a few minutes to rack up 20-30k and get around 5-10 chips
To be fair, you don’t have to 100% everything in BN1 and onwards before beating the final boss. Remember that some things like: the side requests, getting every single chip, & every Bosses Stronger Versions is entirely optional. So I recommend 100% the game after you’ve beaten the final boss or on your 2nd play through. I’m not gonna 100% this game on my current first play through. The same goes for BN4.
Ive never 100% any MMBN game because i find then all a little tedious after a while. Live the series just wish the random encounter was toned down a little. And the back tracking was cut down a little
"What MegaMan challenge we should do next" Defeat BassXX in BN5 without NorthWind or PatchCards. >:D jk, I just did that myself and it was an awful time, lol. Would not recommend. BassXX _with_ NorthWind is a pretty fun battle, though!
Next Megaman Challenge, Starforce 2 100% without speedhack and patch.

If you were wondering how your suppost to knows Mari's measurements, Ms Yuri tells you as funny piece of flavor text

Maps are soo clutch and single digit drops can be very very infuriating. Love to hear you went out it the old old-fashioned way Pokeperson!

The measurements of Ms. Mari are her "game" measurements if you double them, you can get actual measurements.

Yeah I think that's totally valid. Some of those powerups get VERY expensive in the deep internet, it's maybe the only use for Bass's Zenny xD
