Hey Pete love your channel! Any tips on where to get lowering springs put on? I think we are from the same area. Keep it up the good work!
Would you show us a full on side profile- Does the VWR have reverse rake, It appears the back is lower than the front so wondering - I have a DSG and thinking about these springs and whether to use the Audi TT Pads or Stock ones to get a close to level look... Thanks for the Vids and Content! = )
Nice video! I’m really interested to see if the gusset bar would clear a skid plate like the VW Alltrack one that I have on my 7.5R
worth it!! It probably will clear your skid plate.
Sounds awesome...
did you upgrade your air intake when you did your stage 1 tune?
Always nice to hear those dsg farts in the intro
H&R lowering spring was the first thing I didn’t to my mk7. Changed the whole car. KW one day 😅
Do these work with DCC?
yes! Love these on my DCC Golf R
Try solowerks coilovers. They are great. 👍
Pretty awesome, cant wait to Tune my S3
oettinger spoiler, bov, black lasrs
Hey, thanks for the video. Did you get the ECU and TCU tune from IE, or just the ECU? Thoughts?
When tuning, it’s recommended to get the ecu tuned as well. Ive got an IE stage2+ tune with the ecu and ive loved it. I surprise alot of people.
Are those lowering springs good in snow
yo this isnt apart of the video but where did you get the rear bumper blackout reflectors? think you could do an install video?
badgeskins. Check out some of my older badgeskins videos, they will include installations.
I’m literally trying to follow your build. I ordered the Remus and it’s gonna take a month and half to get from ecs. Now I’m considering the springs and MAYBE next year drop to a 18 inch because the 19s englishtown wheels are not the best in my opinion, and the roads are rough for 19s where I live. The potholes and bumps in the road are terrible!!! where I am. Keep it up bro !
Why do your own build, Remus isn't the best awe makes a awesome exhaust and it made in the USA. U can take ideas from builds but do your own thing.
@@lewisberry8657 awe and milltek sound the same too tin can. Remus is a deeper sound. That’s just my preference. Awe is good nothing against it especially of the price. I feel Remus is def louder though.
You need a IE intercooler
Ie intercooler, ie intake, ecs turbo muffler delete, ecs turbo inlet pipe. Last but not least ie stage 1 tune. Those were my thoughts on first mods.
Agreed!
any suggestions on exhaust that are quieter than this one but louder than factory? Live in Cali with a 2015 GTI and don't want to draw too much attention but still want a more aggressive tone.
Get a valvetronic exhaust, more expensive but u can choose whether it’s loud or quiet
I just got a 2018 gti can’t wait to mod it next summer
Hey nice video!!
2 things I would like to ask you.
1. Which VWR lowering spring did you get for your car?
2. For exhaust AWE and Remus are expensive was thinking MBRP with the carbon tips. I don’t know if I should get it or save up and get a valved exhaust.
I have the awe switchpath on my R it doesn't sound as good as the remus in my opinion but if ur debating between a valved system go wth the valued system since u can fly under the radar and want it loud or quiet at a touch of a button I also have the switchpath remote where it just plugs into the stock valves you can open and close em at ur command
Always go valved with these cars. You will be much happier when on longer trips. Nothing is like a Remus exhaust too.
what's the whole configuration of the exhaust? for ex: catless downpipe?
non resonated catback with stock downpipe and cats
I’ve got a mk7 GLI I’d assume most performance mods are the same for our cars?
First mods in this order
Tune
Tires
Rear Sway Bar
No. U didn't watch the video, he's been n the game for a super long time (at the age of 20) and these r the BEST mods u can do n his opinion.
@@lewisberry8657 Ok. Whatever
I thought dsg farts were gone after the facelift because of the dsg 7
It varies on which catback you go wth I have the awe switchpath it doesn't fart much
@@scottroberts5529 The Mk7.5 R and S3 still do it. Catbacks can help for sure.
how much did you sell your gti for if you dont mind me asking
and did you put it back to stock before selling
I don’t remember the price but he kept it modified
Sold with all of the mods for $14,900
