My favourite downhill trails, very fast, a good all weather surface and not really technical. The climb up without a motor is a pain going the direct route. I tend to go via the Verderers trail which goes past the top of the downhill start, longer but more interesting.
Yet another BRILLAINT video and your content ceases to amaze me, Good Sir. 🤩 You are an inspiration and an absolute LEGEND! 🙌🏼 I love the Forest of Dean so Much, I'm now honoured to be a Dean Trail Volunteer, and it's AMAZING seeing how these trails are maintained with DTV and Forestry England, and the amount of care that goes into creating, and maintaining them. 🥹 Thank you for this video, and Happy Trails, my friend. 🤙🏼
@@JJsMTBDiaries Thanks mate. Glad you liked it. Yeah the DTV are a really good group. They seem really active and the FOD is one of the best maintained trail centres around.🎉🎉
It's such a cool trail. Another thing to try is top to bottom with no pedalling. Theres enough rollers to keep pumping to keep your speed and its just a matter of choosing which to pump and which to jump. Love your vids dude and they've helped me out lots in the past on choosing where to ride.🤘
@@sharkebikes You have a sharp eye. Yeah I’ve been experimenting with a few different combinations. Currently running a 2.3 Minion DHF on the rear and a 2.35 Magic Mary up front
@@bikeandbeyond how do the Mary's feel? We offer a Nobby Nic set for the Hammerhead currently, we're open to offer more of the Schwalbe range to our riders.
That big 180 is like a wall of death, you are just glued to it when speeding around it. Such a blast.
@@Rubblechops 🤣 yeah it’s a great feature.

Awesome video mate! I've still not run Forest of Dean yet.
@@lukeholroyd3815 it’s a great place, you need to get it on your list. Would be happy to show you around at some point.
Did these a couple of weeks ago on my HT Voodoo bizango. Its really not fun having to push up so my son didnt fancy doing it again. E-bike inbound!
I’ve taken my bizango pro down these before and it was awesome fun (but the ebike is soooo much easier for that push up track)😅

They are great trails. I always use them as a warm up run before riding anything more serious.
Yeah I do the same. They are great warmup runs!

Thanks mate that’s awesome, i’m really glad you like the vids! I love the idea of the no pedal ride. I’m definitely going to give that a go!
Before they put the fence there, I quite often went straight onto the push up track 😂😂😂
I know the section you mean. I think a few people did that by accident 😂
Great video. We spy some rubber changes, is that Nic's on the front maxxis on the rear?
