It's a few hours from home in Derbyshire, but 10 minutes from the in-laws, which is nice. Best trail centre I've ridden. Last time round waited with a lad who'd got it badly wrong on launchpad until the ambulance came. Nothing but praise for the staff who provided first aid and sorted everything out.
Yeah launchpad and countdown are faster than they look. I think they catch a lot of people out. Glad the staff were on form though. That’s great to hear.
Last summer when I was training for a MTB charity event, I did 6 laps of the trail in one go on my hardtail. Approx 66-70km. The descents were still fun on the 6th lap. I Didn't know about the new blue descent after the first climb, will need to give it a try!
It was the perfect bike for the trail. Fast on the uphills flowy on the downhills. There are a couple more exciting Hammerhead vids on the way too. Watch this space 🎉
My favourite blue trail and I live relatively close by so very lucky. The dragons tail downhill is great fun. I did the new old bobs trail as a warm up for Verderers last time which was surprisingly good even as a green trail.
I rode this trail last month, I loved it! Definitely now one of my favourites. I didn't realise at the time but I also went down the red route too 🙈 The climb was a killer though.
Hey man I've recently just got into watching your content I really enjoy these kinda uploads, I'm considering buying a voodoo bizzango pro and I heard you have one I'd like to ask which size frame did you get because they all look pretty similar and one last question what'd your height in foot?
I’m glad you like the content, thanks for watching. Mine is their size large frame and I am 5”10. I find that this fits me perfectly. Being 5”10 I sit right between the M and L sizes, but found that the M was a bit too compact for me. I find that the size large is a good fit for what I use it for and the bike has been great. I’ve had it a couple of years now and it’s not had any issues.
Did this yesterday for the first time with my wife and kids and was really impressed with it, really fun with capable kids.
Awesome. It’s a fun trail and great for a family ride.

It’s been a while since I’ve ridden this trail. It easily has one of the best descents of any blue trail.
Launchpad?

That’s a damn good effort! I think I could manage about 2 laps before I am cooked 😂
Went there for the first time earlier in the year, with my local group. Amazing trails . Back up there end of the month for a long weekend.
@@markwaughman2842 nice work. There’s plenty to keep you entertained
Another great vid Olly. Love this trail. Easily the finest blue in the UK. The last mile alone of it is worth the 1 1/2 hour trip to get there.
Thanks, I’m really glad you liked it. Yeah it’s a brilliant blue trail. Highly recommended in my eyes.
Ride this trail this morning
Great fun (for a 74 year old) !
Rode 😂
Nice work. It’s a good trail
Great video and thanks for riding the Hammerhead!

Great ongoing maintenance and additions make FOD so good. Such a Cannock chase doesn't get 10% of the effort put in at FOD
Yes my thoughts exactly. It’s not as if Cannock don’t make enough money from the carpark to maintain and improve the trails regularly.

Yeah it’s a good route. Will be doing it again next time I go.
Great trail centre
Yeah definitely

That’s me at the start of the video sat staring into space 🙄
