To date, he faces more than two dozen felony charges - six more were filed Monday morning - including theft, ghost employment, official misconduct and tax evasion involving more than $4 million in questionable spending
Noel’s wife, Misty, and their daughter, Kasey, have also been charged. All have pleaded not guilty.
Investigators believe the family spent millions of taxpayer dollars on cars, planes, vacations, clothing and other luxury purchases. More than $50,000 was supposedly spent on cigars alone, as well as $183,000 on custom suits.
At least 40 cars have been confiscated by law enforcement, including a bevy of classics, such as two 1970 Plymouth Superbirds, a 1959 Corvette and 1966 and 1968 Chargers, according to search warrant returns.

That's a failing on his part though - any functioning and fair judicial system requires calm, neutral, unemotional verdicts - not verdicts delivered by a furious judge, shaking with anger, which immediately raises the question of whether their ruling was fair and legitimate, and followed the law, or whether it was influenced by his own personal views and potential bias. That's an issue to address - even the worst defendants in the world must have a fair, dispassionate, evenly-handed trial - that's not what That clip showed. Judges are the blind, fair arbiters of The Law - not there to vent public anger or personal disgust, either if which can be alluded to strongly in their ruling, but not so furiously displayed.

Certain people have to live to a higher standard, people like doctors, nurses, teachers, police officers, judges and caregivers. It is one law for all. We are all equal before the law. This is why our conduct is so important.
This judge is visibly disgusted with the conduct of the accused or convicted. Of course, we all wonder what happened. Clearly, this judge will come down hard on the convicted person. That is how it has to be. Respect to this judge.

@phillittle5890 thank you. It's nice to have a conversation where we can agree to disagree. I understand where your coming from and I thought about that angle, but I'm a passionate, emotional person so I get it. As a person upholding the law, he's disgusted and angry that this man who also took a similar oath would do this. It depends on the situation also. I'm sure that if his ruling at the end of the day wasn't justified, then his punishment will be appealed. Considering his crimes, it's justified in my opinion. How could you not be angry at the fact that this guy who swore to serve and protect as a sheriff no doubt, did this despicable crime and had no remorse whatsoever nor believed he would ever be punished? Did he have to get this angry and respond in this way? Probably not, but it's understandable.

@@BigFrankRizzo oh? Shouldn’t the “good officers” be doing everything in their power to get rid of the “bad apples”? They should come out in full force and demand that changes are made, they need to elect the people in their police union that best represents them. They need to put out statements to every single media outlet to let the people that they serve know that they are doing everything they can to weed out the bad apples. Even if they don’t mean it, just for the optics, they should. But none of them do. Ohh, you get the few comments on social media from retired cops; they only say something once they secure their retirement fund. So don’t BS me with this sitting in the fence “only a few bad apples” rubbish. There wouldn’t be any bad apples, or they wouldn’t last long, if their actions weren’t condoned; or at the very least tolerated.
