James I’ve had this Manta Ray SRPE39J1 now for about a week. This watch is incredible and one of the best and most stunning and beautiful dials I’ve ever seen on a watch. I own the Padi Turtle but this new King Manta Ray turtle is much better than my Padi. The sapphire crystal with magnifier and ceramic bezel are tremendous upgrades 👍🏻
I enjoyed watching the review. If the gentleman in the review thought the cyclops lens on his seiko turtle was slightly miss - aligned, he should see some of the examples that I've seen!. From what I saw the cyclops lens looked spot on. For the price we pay for seiko they should at least include a scissor clasp as standard, but this is what you get if you buy the highest quality seiko watches. The bracelets seiko provide get the job done and it's up to the person who buys the watch if they decide to keep what it's on or use something else.
I really love this dial! I prefer the dark manta ray editions, but this too looks stunning. The only thing that keeps me from getting this watch is the size. I'm just not sure it would fit me. My favourite diver is the mini turtle and I wish Seiko would come out with a king mini turtle (perhaps the prince turtle)!
Have this for over a year now. Love it BUt. The misalignment is present. The clasp is literally shit. The rest is good and the only reason I bought this watch is the dial obviously and the case.the bracelet is mediocre but the clasp ruins it.i might put a different crystal to get rid of the cyclops.
@WATCHing James it's on a rubber strap and it's way lighter. The bracelet on my 62 mas is a bit better and love the size and looks.the movement is OK so far.but 6r35 is like a lottery. Cheers

Hahaha that would be great. I found that this one did not sit well on my wrist so it was sold.
The Samurai however sits perfectly for me.

The lume is the counter balance. Opposite to the tip of the second hand

I think strapcode does a great bracelet for it. I have one for my samurai and it’s amazing.
