Got my hands on this Samurai Manta, incredibly designed case and that dial is like having a ocean on my wrist.
How is the accuracy?
Really nice to see sapphire crystal in the new offerings. Great looking dial and wrist presence. Glad you are showing the most recent iterations of these nice pieces.
I love the look of the Samurai with the angular case and rectangular shards shooting all over the place. But MAN a turtle is comfortable to wear. So it really comes down to form vs. function to decide which to buy.
Received the Turtle version and gotta say that this dial is mesmerizing! In every light it's giving off a different view and yes, it's like looking at the ocean at sundown, worth every penny!.. Amazing watch!
Own both. I've had my samurai for 10 years. Still ticking. Starting to lose time. Wife just bought me the sea turtle edition. Beautiful coloring. I love them both.

I prefer the Samurai of which the cuts and corners reflecting image of Samurai as if you watched if from the crown ……it is so mamasculine however, Turtle is real so round & round as humbleness

I've got both, the turtle is my go to because it's a lot more comfortable.
And I do like the day date with the blue sat and red sun.
I really like the turtle more. I got the dark Mantaray and it is beautiful. I actually put it on a dark navy blue NATO and it really makes it pop. Better than the rubber strap that it came with. Ray

I went for the samurai as I prefer the design of the case and I just think it looks smarter. I will be wearing it on special occasions and not for diving etc ha

The Turtle dial version looks like when you're under the deep sea environment.. I have the Manta Ray with rubber strap not bracelet because my wrist is small :)

i think the turtle has more retro style... the samurai just looks like million other watches
I bought the samori. It's amazing. A beautiful piece. It's worth every penny. Much nicer than the turtle. I tried both. My wrist is 6.5. The samori is more comfortable. It cost me $410. On Black Friday.
The Sammy has drilled lug holes which I like
SoeciK edition rather than limited and don’t change the date between I believe 9pm to 4am, just to be sure, Change date at 6pm.
Planning to pick up the Samurai as I have the navy blue ceramic bezel save the ocean turtle shark!
I'm interested in picking up one of these but worried it will be to big 6.75 in wrist what do you think ?

These manta rays wear smaller than there suggested dimensions. I think it would wear well for your wrist size 👍

These are nice watches but I’m disappointed in the movement. For the price I’d like to see a 6r.
I feel you but believe it or not 4r's keeping slightly better time than 6r's. I was thinking the same thing but I gave it a chance and I'm happy with my 4r movement too. Just a 0.1 ms beat error higher than my 6r but 3s/d just inside the box is great. When I wear it most of the time 0 s/d

Apart from the longer power reserve the 6R is really no better.
O seiko tartaruga é mais bonito,na minha opinião.
I would have bought this watch but 43/45 mm is way to big. I hope someday Seiko will make upto 40mm

They wear smaller but there is a smaller version of the turtle as well..there are differences between the two but the overall shape is very similar
