These are a very limited currency, so let's talk about how you can get them and the best way to use them, so you don't waste your bullions. I gotta call BS on the M0 difficulty being equivalent to 10+. I was doing 15s regularly last season with 472 ilvl and didn't have any problems. This go around, M0 felt scaled like a 20 would be from last season. I don't think they scaled them properly.
That timewalker quest glitch has been fixed.

What do you mean accessible for casuals? I'm a returning player from season 1 and I've no idea what's going on. There's nothing in game that tells you about anything. Wtf are flightstones or dragon stones that he was talking about? What's the upgrade track? I've never been so confused as to what I'm supposed to be doing in WoW.
@@scottbyers9258 flightstones and dragon stones are irrelevant now, basically. they where used to upgrade gear through season 2-3, the new currency basically lets you skip most of this and go straight into good gear, It's a good change :)
@@scottbyers9258I started playing WoW for the first time last season and had about 2 months to reach max gear level. This season the mechanics are even more simplified and I predict people will have 525 gear by the end of May. Just start playing and ask people questions in game, it’s gonna be way easier than it was last season (but also less reason to log on and play…)

Yeh! Just wish it would reward max item level aswell. keys are a big time waste bcs they so long and not even fun on highest level

Thanks, Kelani for so calmly and directly explaining when Blizz institutes new systems and currencies. I wish it was explained like this in the game, but at least it keeps you employed.
They should just let kelani be his own boss like he is now but blizz should pay him additional income for relaying the up to date info for them since they cant do it themselves this well in the game itself lol😇😂👌 I also love watching some kelani vids to get updated easily otherwise I'd have no idea whats going on. UA-camrs like kelani probably helps player retention rate soooo idk why they dont start hiring a few really good youtuber content creators to share this info like they do

I didn’t get my first bullion until my 11th raid boss kill. Cleared all of normal and got it on the third boss in heroic. It was very strange and was planning on putting in a ticket with blizz if I didn’t get it after I cleared heroic.

Im just returning after stepping away at the end of season 1. I started the game up and immediately overwhelmed by all the new stuff added and 38 different currencies. Ive played the game for 19 years and feel like this is my first day on azeroth.
is overwhelming at first but honestly pretty easy. crests upgrade gear, other stuff buys gear, get better rewards the harder content you do, ez

What did you do? Do you try to get the new currencies or just ignored and followed the emerald dream questline?
Completely ignore the quest line and go straight into LFR and Mythic dungeons. That’s all you need to know to start getting gear AND the currency to upgrade it. If you focus on that you’ll get a constant stream of gear and upgrade mats.

So we can get all the color variations of the previous season weapons at a vendor, what about tier set transmogs? Specifically season 3 LFR and normal color variation? How can those be obtained?
I never got Manic Grieftorch when I played Vault. It's calling my name and never taking it off

I think my hunter got that either dropped and won greed roll or vaulted and available like 9 times.
Never even saw the bow though
Mythic track Augury dropped for both my characters in the vault this week. -.-
Rolled 2 99s and a 100 during season 3 on it only to be beaten by a 100 or tied with someone and lost by default.
So I’ll definitely be buying that stupid thing first so I never have to worry about it again. :^)

It has a chance to drop gear from any season, if you got unlucky and got something from season 2 or 3, it was at it's original item level because those seasons of content are not currently Awakened. If you got a piece of loot from Season 1, it was awakened and at the appropriate 493 ilvl.
THIS HAS BEEN FIXED!
Now if you get something from any season, it should be 493 instead of the season's original item level. (Or they shrunk the pool down to only be able to get season 1 loot from the first week.)

So where are the transmog sets we voted for a while ago in the patch? Do they drop from raids or are they on one of the vendors?
Thx for great guide :) Biggest drawback is that LFR only drops gear at the Veteran track and can only be upgraded to ilvl 502. If you're only doing LFR, like me, you have to buy the gear you can upgrade as high as you can. The open world content I've done so far, world boss and a hunt, also gave gear at the veteran track. Hope that the weekly quest gives awakened gear so it is possible not having to buy everything.

@@aronluebbe8839not everyone is comfortable doing normal raid or has the time to wipe on a boss because they, or someone else, doesn't understand boss mechanics properly and keeps wiping the group to silly things

Normal raid is easier than LFR (imo) at times, just takes longer to organize cuz you can't just q and iinsta port

You get awakened gear at 493? So its worth upgrading the hero track weapon i got today to max? Was thinking it might be wasted if i plan to get the staff from builons
As someone who normally doesn't raid I'm going to focus on the empowered content and gear up my main.

The Bullion to start is 1 this week with a cap increase of 1 per week from what I understand. so If you get one this week, next week youll be able to get 2 so on and so forth. so by the time you get to week 7 you should be able to get most if not all your BiS items from the vendor and some cosmetics if you want it

1 spark per week from the Last Hurrah! Quest in Val, plus one spark this week from relevant content. After this week all sparks that you missed from the Hurrah quest can be obtained from doing relevant content
What addon are you using to change the Dragon Vigor icons?
Got the back that give u secoundary stats from timewalking weekly. It was 509 ilvl :D
@kelani do you know if theyve increased the bad luck protection or anything, few guildies are at like 15kills for sarkareth and still no evoker legendary and its kinda killing their drive for the game
My TW quest reward chest was CORRECT yesterday...so they fixed it pretty quick..

I got a neck from the tbc weekly(the champion item was from amirdrassil) and it wouldn’t let me use medallion settings. Be careful on that too.

Usually you get the mythic mog on the first aspect crest upgrade.
Kehlani did you check the tbc timewalking loot ? How big looks the loot tabel ? And how big is the tw chest after 5 hc dungeons ? Or is it still on season 3 scaled ?
Timewalking loot drops are Adventurer level/season 4.
The weekly cache for completing 5 is Normal level/season 4.
I saw a DK with Awakened Ashkandur week 1, how do I get 2 bullions week 1?

We all wanted to be Rexxar, fighting side-by-side with our pet friends ....
But instead they took the spec famous for its Kiting ability, aka surviving, and made it melee despite virtually every hunter asking for bm to be melee.
that weekly world quest chest is buged and giving green 350. so that sucks till they fix that one.

Doesn't the bullion cap start at 1 and increase by 1 each week..? So 1 first week, 2 second week etc...
Not sure about the timewalking bug. Did 5 on 2 characters, both characters got 493. This was a couple hours after the servers came up.
It's fixed now
I did it and got a 422 piece my buddy did it literally 5 mins after me and got a 499 ring

I ran the last wing of LFR for the laughs. Cause Raz with pugs is funny as hell with failure. I managed to roll a 98 on Neltharax :D

i don't think they thought about these changes very well, now getting veteran level gear is harder as it only comes from overworld content which is weekly locked, heroics only give vet gear in the vault, again weekly locked, drake crests are also locked to weekly activities and you only get a handful of them per dungeon run, meanwhile M+ can be done endlessly and now drop champion gear at low levels but only drop wyrm crests even starting at +2
in other words, veteran gear is harder to get, drake crests are gonna be rare, and wyrm crests are gonna be the easiest ones to farm up.
I handed in my timewalking quest before seeing this vid and I got an ilvl 502 necklace
I didn't get my evoker legendary until the last week of s2 despite running heroic over 10 times along with normal and lfr many more times.. Then i had to immediately change it to vakash. So I'm excited to upgrade it first and actually use it

Bear in mind some quests are currently bugged and give out season 3 rewards instead of season 4 ones. The TBC timewalking quest is one of these, giving me a crappy 460 season 3 ring as the reward.
Had two Sparks today (EU Server), not just one as mentioned. Don´t know if it´s intended though..

LFR and Heroic/Myt0 here I come. I do like how these changes make it more realistic to build up decent alts which, historically, took too much time to do for casual players like me. Positive changes thus far.
I think I wouldve prefered a cap of 2 bullions per week with each gear item costing 3 that way you wouldn't be gearing up instantly but you could still have more choice down the road sooner. Ofcourse the transmogs could stay at 1 each. I'm also surprised the mount isn't like 5 minimum haha. Otherwise S4 is pretty nice all things considered.

Im looking to start playing again. Havent bought dragonflight yet until i know this isnt a fling. What servers are thriving and have decent pvp/pve? I have 8 characters on magtheridon but it shows low player count.
Where can i jump? Reddit posts seem a bit dated.
m+0 was way harder than a M+10 last night (possibly we had under geared peeps in the group though) - we wiped 5 times then went to heroics and did fine. (I had a 1899 mythic rating last season and was doing up to 16 so I can heal them)
M16 last week dropped 470ish iLvl, M0 this week drops 493 so it's a decent iLvl hike.
Can you do heroic dungeons with NPC's now like you could do with Normal dungeons.

Wait hard mode dawn of infinite drops hero gear?
As of right now, m0 Dawn is bugged. It drops current season ilvl but the dungeon is scaled to season 2 difficulty.
So grab literally anyone and go do all 8 bosses on m0 to get 493 gear. You don't have to do hard mode.
We stomped it in about 15min and we were all on 430-ish alts.
I just got my cache at the proper 42069.
I already did the weekly. There was no spark as a reward, just the cache.
The Last Hurrah! Was bugged and not giving a spark, I think, but was quickly hot fixed, just like the TW quest was bugged for a few hrs
The outdoor content part you spoke of is mildly incorrect. All outdoor content is awakened. If you look at dream surge or time rift they say it now. Edit: actually it was a visual bug that’s now fixed. However they do give adventurer track gear.
At this point of time i don't care about gear. just gonna wait few months and then get all the mog.
All caches have been bugged on NA today.

Don't really care about the gear other then for transmog purposes. I'm going for the mount & any other collectables i can get my hands on. Thankfully i can use LFR to get the required bronze bullions.
