'year and a half to two years' my guy the last tier of raiding drops in jan 2025. id be surprised if cata lasted a year
if they dont fix bot issue (economy) and over expensive character boost then yea. also fresh servers
@@Dualities Cata was the expansion where it started to actually be fun leveling your alts. If anyone buys a boost, he is a donkey anyway.

@@Dualities Nobody is forcing you to play every character and if you don't have the time to level them, you also will not have the time to gear and play them.
I stopped the video 12 seconds in, based on this statement. If he hasn't even looked at the timeline, how is he going to provide any content that's worthwhile. Big miss.
You likely won't be using reforging once you're raiding?? Huh??? You always use it to get your maximum amount of top Stat and to get as close as possible to hit/expertise caps.
Dungeons actually do give you reputation, but only the max level ones.
My understanding is the heroic dungeons are the post-nerfed versions that appeared mid xpac.
They were still a force to reckoned with. Not the rolfstomp HC dungeons that are in retail. Those things are a joke. There is no difference between normal and HC in retail. No wonder they changed it now
They are boring as fuck if you know what to do. If you have a vrew that does not and there are tons of those then you will hav ea hard time as either tank or healer cos you have to cover their mistakes and then also get kicked fro their mitakes as they are not willing to either learn the mechaincs or even do them. Dont play cata. serious. It is filled with rush rush rush mythic players from dragonflight who dont have a fricken clue as to what do to. But they want the gear so que anyway. They are nto able to buy runs yet from people who can do them as people are still gearing up but it wont be long since blizzard is now also sellign tokens in cata when the game in 2010 never had them. Tokens and blizzards greed killed this game. Thsi led to them not banning bots fast enough which led to more peopel offering runs for real life money. WoW is a fricken mess.i uninstalled the whole lot yesterday and went back to doign something productive and that is playung my drums again.
Also doing the zones will give you an end of zone quest for the dungeons which give hella xp

Just looking at the bugs they went live with today...oof we're in for a rough year. Gotta love how little they give a damn about classic players
@@Magellann365 i just discovered that I paid for 6 months only to level up to level 75, I wanted to reach 80 and start raiding like good old time, I come back and everything is wiped out and it's pretty much another game now. I should have informed myself before I bought the 6 months of gametime.

Pre-nerfed dungeons in cata was great back in the days. Oh do I miss the complains from people saying it was to hard. Getting one-shotted from the first boss in Stone Core 🙈
Stonecore was my favorite cata heroic pre-nerf, every single boss has at least one mechanic that one shots you if you fail at it.

Yup, I enjoyed it before nerf...
Back when a skull meant a kill and people took it seriously. Not as it is now, where it is ignored most of the time. Miss the skull back then and you most likely wiped. If people did nothide behind the pillars they also got impaled by the flying crystals. The scout that comes right after the second boss if allowed to live calls all the others so he should be taken down asap. People did their jobs or wiped back in 2010. Now retail is a joke. You can miss have the abilitites and still rolfstomp the place.
getting ilvl 329 is not that difficult, just get loremaster for twilight highlands and finish the last few quests and you will be ilvl 324-330. Then just do a few random normal dungeons for jp and buy you some ilvl 346 items for some of your lower ilvl slots. As this vendor normally has some basic 346 gear for almost every slot. The one pitfall most fall into is you really need a little higher ilvl then 329 for heroic's, at least early on in expansion. Since the heroic's are a bit overtuned in cata and can wipe a grp of full ilvl 346 geared players pretty easily. Exspecally if your dps is all class/specs that have low dps in early part of expanstion, such as casters who don't really start picking up till they start getting 354 gear and their 2/4 set bonus's. First week or 2 the melee are going to own casters till the raids start then they'll catch up if not pass up the melee dps.
Have you played Beta ? You are rushing through the heroics Like in 10-15 mins easily ITS Not Like Back in the days mf
Every Classic is on the last patch of it's respective expansion. So the heroics are not hard at all. Unfortunately.
Btw dungeons are not hard but on beta you could already test that with 346 i lvl gear, so at start it will be hard, even with gear you can still wipe on each boss for not doing mechanics
You can get a tabard for the factions so the dungeons reward faction. You just need to do enough quests to get to the tabard level with the factions then spam dungeons.

Also remember that the average computer the average player had back in the day made these dungeons ALOT harder. When you're doing a mechanic at 7 frames per second (basically a slideshow) you're gonna struggle.

I just started playing. Questing by my self and lvling.. i am lvl 32 and have no clue what u are talking about xD
Not bad but id sale the Arch Tablet early on if you need or want gold.
Mistake to avoid #1: rolling Hunter instead of feral Druid.
But in DS survival hunter scales way better than most dps with little to no effort so why pick the combo point driven feral playstyle?

Yea I'm not sure why he thinks raid gear is safe from reforging.. unless it has your 2 main stats, it's getting reforged...

Leveling dungeons won't give any rep, even with tabard. Tabard gives rep for lvl 85 dungeons

8 months? lol. Its gonna be about around 1 year - 1 year 2 months. Cata launches on may with BoT, BD and ToFW, firelands comes in october, then HoT on january. Each raid tier is gonna be about 4 and half months, and last tier always lasts a bit more.

Mistake #1 was turning on a video from a guy who thinks we won't reforge raid gear.
I can see you havent played OG cata. Dungeons were insanly hard at launch then they were nerfed into infity and there was nothing hard about them

The prepatch is out and it's amazing! I can't believe how much better class design is in Cata compared to archaic Wrath.
oh man what? So Burning Cruisade is done ? oh well ok I did not even reach level to have fun in the raids but ok I'll just uninstall. I think the only reason I have to ever open battlenet again would be to do the SC2 wings of liberty campaign once again because that was great RTS solo gameplay, other that nothing else from Blizzard interests me. They did so many great if not legendary games but nowadays they are just worthless.
Cata is a really great expansion, especially if you like pvp.

That's probably the most false statement I have seen in any cata related video. Cata heroics (assuming we getting the proper, pre-nerf ones) are lot closer to pre-nerf TBC heroics than the pathetic excuse for heroics we had in wtlk.

well, in all honesty, the biggest mistake to avoid is playing the game. The more you understand the game the more annoying it becomes, cause the people that made it, had no clue what they where doing. Honestly.
Since Cata Has Dropped. This video was wrong on legit everything this dude said just void this video its all wrong info. Dungeons do gives Rep 84+ dungeons do this and all HC's you do give Rep with tabard on
wtf are these tips? reforging is a waste of time before max level, its crucial at 85, faction tabards makes dungeons give reputation - everything you're saying is literally incorrect.

Biggest mistake is playing this money grab, Cata is NOT classic.
BC wasnt classic but they still made it, neither was Wrath. Classic was Classic and Classic was terrible. Hell, Classic and its myriad knock offs like Season of WoWhead are all money grabs.

classic is the most antiquated version of wow, and it's plagued with gdkps, even with the ban.
It's Cata Classic... and many people are looking forward to it. Many missed out on that time period. If you don't like it, fine. That's on you and you should go play whatever version you enjoy. But talking people out of trying it for themselves based on your opinion is as bad as "this cash grab". It goes both ways.
