I just picked one up about a month ago for £1300, already been remapped to just over 260bhp and I'm in love, don't think £1300 could buy anything better certainly performance wise!
Wow that is cheap! Exactly what I’m saying, it’s a lot of car for the money and especially when it comes to performance 🙌🏼 enjoy and thank you for taking the time to watch my content and leave a comment. 🙏🏼
Did you find one? I know a low silver avant mtm tuned. Quattro. Leather. External bov. Exhaust. Inlet. Tune. Suspension. Not long had UK mot test. Really quick on the lanes.
When I'm bored I look at new cars, on my mind now is an A4 Allroad (all we have here in the U.S.) and turning it from a grampa wagon into a hot wagon. Then I go drive my 2005 B7 Quattro (auto) Sedan with 155k miles and it makes those expensive new car thoughts go away. Non-S line but I basically have the suspension, it's on Koni adaptable shocks which are amazing, low enough to still be practical especially in a lot of snow in winter (thing handles snow and ice covered mountain rounds on all season tires like a champ). I think the only thing that has failed on mine was the original diverter valve about 10 years ago. This year and I should hopefully finally be able to give it a nice fancy Stage 1, which will absolutely transform with the low-mid power (don't really wring it out much). I always look at the tuning sites and make $10k wish lists; but just an intake, coils/plugs (I hear you should go with better coils and colder plus), and tune (thinking 034) should be amazing without going crazy. Do the preventative MX and it's a tank, should go to 250k no problem. Be funny if it outlasts my buddies now second bone stock Mazda 3 (although he drives everywhere like it's a race...wonder why his tranny blew out?). If I do buy something else I'd love to be able to keep this to mount winter tires on.

Previous owner put a new turbo blowoff valve so it sounds rly nice. Got to say for my first car it ain’t a bad deal. Problems were my radio and few body things, a few rust spots we had to deal with and bumper is slightly off on the right. But hey it’s a first car so can’t complain

I'm looking at a 2009 A4 2.0 TFSI. I've seen some worrying comments about oil consumption. What are your experiences with it? Honestly, I can buy oil for dirt cheap, so it isn't that big of a deal to me... I even already found a company that replaces the pistons+piston rings, filters, gaskets etc for 1800 euros (£1500). It's just that, surely, consuming a litre of oil every 1000km (to as low as 300km) can't be good for the engine, exhaust system, turbo, EGR, etc, right? I've yet to ask the seller so I'll definitely do that next time I talk to them.
The B8 is slightly different as the engine was revised. It’s best to just keep an eye on oil consumption and top up when required. My oil consumption was pretty minimal but did increase when my PCV valve went but I already knew the warning signs after reading numerous reviews and articles. My advice would be to do your research on the platform but also thoroughly on the car you are looking to buy to avoid any unwanted issues further down the line. I did a lot of preventative maintenance on my B7 which allowed me to have hassle free motoring for nearly 3 years! 🙌🏼

Wow, My B7 is the same year and an S-Line as well. Didnt't have the cool stuff that this one did. America doesn't get anything cool 😕
Hi Adam, this one is the Special edition which is why it has the 18” DTM wheels, black exhaust tips, dual tone leather seats, upgraded engine and drilled disc brakes.
We got Titanium Package instead of Special Edition
Where did you buy that Audi sport sticker I live in CA USA
I got it from EBay, www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Audi-Sport-Sticker-Car-Decal-Vinyl-Red-STICKERS-50mm-Race-Racing-Rally-/173428941279?_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49292
I’ve got one on stage 2 I highly recommend
But I can say the motor is the same special edition to base. Only difference is the option of v6 or 4cyl.
Awesome to hear buddy! 🙌🏼 underaged cars to be fair.
Hi Josh, I wanna buy Audi A4 2.0t tfsi (b7)
208 000 on the clock....the owner wants 80k, what do you think?...
Hi Siyamthanda, Just to be sure, what currency are we talking here?
Hi, iv had the same car for over a year now n been struggling to find the correct performance parts... can you send me a list of the parts you mentioned 🙂
Sure man, where abouts are you based? UK/US
@@JoshKemponcars I'm in the UK, West Midlands
Revo stage 1 remap (approved retailer)
Simota racing panel filter (euro car parts)
12mm Wheel spacers - EBay
Brembo discs and pads all around - euro car parts
Exhaust resonator delete - custom (infinity exhausts)
What common issues do you get with these cars ? I will be buying one soon
Sure, I made 2 videos about that, have a look on my channel.
@@JoshKemponcars thanks
I've recently fallen in love with this car, there's an '05 2.0T near me for under 5k, but i'm worried about reliability. do you think it could safely do a 5 hour drive?
As long as it’s been looked after (full service history), I really wouldn’t worry. I’ve done a 4 hour trip before in mine and the car didn’t miss a beat.
Keep saving up your money. The 2.0 turbo motor becomes reliable from 2013 and foward. This body style looks nice tho
@@theodorecendejas1343 wait what are you talking about? The block is similar to the MK5 Golf GTI and it's reliable. If anything the newer engines found in the B8 are far less reliable.
@@Kofi_Mensahs_BurnerAccount well I own a 2015 A4 SLine. And I have been told that from the 2013 year and up b8.5 don't have the engine oil consumption issue or blow by. Supposedly they have upgraded pistons and piston rings also the pcv valve has been upgraded or revised better said. And I kind of believe it, becuase I actually purchase this car new back in December 2015. Now I have 122k miles and the only 2 issues I ever had was a altenator and that happen a 104k miles. And waterpump at 113k miles. When the altenator gave out I replaced it and also battery, starter motor, and belt and tensioner all at the same time. Other than that it's been solid. Also if it even matter which am sure It does not my car mods are. Injen cold air intake, cts turbo intercooler with charge pipes and diverter valve spacer and the turbo muffler delete, also it a has a integrated engineering intake manifold and integrated engineering stage 1 tune. And my car has been modded and tuned since it had like 50k miles and its been holding up good and its a daily driver also car has been dynod and it put down 253 whp. Car still has full stock exhuast and and turbo. But yeah, I am only speaking from my experience and I apologize if I offended anyone
@@theodorecendejas1343 no worries dude, you have to understand that these cars are old now and many have been abused so it's no wonder they'd have high engine oil consumption.
Just bought the special edition , mapped to 260 😜
Ma man! 😎🙌🏼 enjoy buddy! 🤜🏼
How many miles is it on?
Just over 100k miles at this point.
Where did you buy the front lip and the defuzer
EBay buddy, links below
Lip spoiler - www.ebay.co.uk/itm/132559240262
Rear diffuser - www.ebay.co.uk/itm/254252221177
Thanks i got the avant model 2007 s line
Ah cool man, I do like an avant version! 😎👌🏻
What sot of MPG do you get on average in that with the stage 1 tune?
Anywhere between 25 and 35mpg depending on the mixture of driving. I’m going to be doing a running costs video if you’re interested in what I’ve spent to date on the car and some other inside knowledge things.
That would be awesome yeah. I'm looking at buying one as I think they're great
@@taylorbeynon4402 no problem, good to know. There’s a few common issues on them but other than that they are pretty trouble free and very tuneable and cheap to get hold of.
The fuel consumption is lower now with tune?
I would say slightly higher
I have a b7 A4 and left it like it came from the showroom..I have had it now for 6 years and have 250 thousand miles on it....I had no problems other than changing light bulbs...Time for me to move up to a S4 and I'm gonna keep it all stock!
Wow! Love that, mine was in pretty good shape until I started fettling with it although it already had a stage 1 Revo tune so I just added to that.
Where did you get that spoiler
Just saw that you said it's from eBay? Is it those rubber ones?
