agreed
@@brucecustommotors you are a wild man
Have a gorgeous silver A6 (s6 body kit) and I will be trying this. I love the car already 2.0t great gas mileage quick and Audi luxury 🔥
Absolutely brilliant tip. Going to try this very soon on my 2019 Audi a5 coupe. It’s a 2.0 tfsi and after your comments about a 2019 maf sensor being dirty I’m hoping to find a bit of dirt/dust on mine and see how much of a difference I feel after cleaning. Great channel, keep up the good work, enjoying your informative videos here in the UK.
Update?
Update???
Update?????
I have a 2018 a5 2.0 and I've been told we have MAFless cars
Thanks Brice this worked extremely well for me, almost to good , wonder why the dealer didn’t recommend it at Audi on my service, god send🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
bruh i literally replaced my bov, adjusted my wastegate, checked the tune, spent $600 on new injectors... and all the problem was my mf maf being dirty. ffffffffffffffffffff
But look at all you’ve accomplished along the way, young Jedi 😌🤣 was the carbon cleaning next?
I mean at least you found the problem
@@PedroFerrer-vq5sw
yeah i found the problem... bought the wrong car lmao, i sold that mf
No cap I’m goin through the same thing right now just to realize it’s my maf sensor after replacing other parts so I’m going to do it soon just a lot of rain lately
Thank you. Just picked up a 13 A7. Gonna give it a go
Are you Kidding me😲 your Stance is sitting Like a BOSS👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🍻 🏎️
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏thanks bro
Do you have a dyno print out on before and after the job to see how much your theory pans out?
Good tip.... a lot of people don't know about the maf sensor..👍
Audi savior, thanks brother this worked well for me
Thanks bro💪💪💪💪💪
Wow, this is a great topic. Horsepower does tend to get away from you over time.
Yes definitely,
I agree great topic for sure.
My 2015 S5 has had gas mileage issues, I'll give this a try!
Actual video starts at 2:30, but good advise, two thumbs up
14.7:1 air/fuel ratio is actually the most efficient at normal operating conditions, ie; average temp and pressure etc. 12:1 would give you a bigger bang for your buck 💣👍🏼
i would say with a tune definitely you can play around
14.7:1 is stoichiometric ratio for kg of air : kg of fuel, to theoretically burn all of the fuel and release the most energy from the given amount of fuel. MAF measures air flow, the ecu also receives inputs from throttle position sensor (demand), ambient air temperature, engine coolant temperature, it can work out fuel grade (octane), there are knock sensors that retard ignition/ richen mixture; exhaust sensors check for emissions. Allegedly some oil impregnated air filters leave deposits on MAFs reducing their functionality. Generally more power is made from ratios
Found this to be true on my own. Procedure may vary, but easy enough to do for the benefit.
ayoooo that's how your inline 4 sounds like? it sounds good! I have a B8 2.0T too and just starting to do stuff to it.
Thanks for the info and video I have Q5 2014 so I’ll be doing this for my car 🚗
Doing this tonight Audi king🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks bro one dream one team
Exhaust sound nice and power👍
True that,,,also u can boost this to close to 15 psi with few simple items...make sure to install a boost gauge. Thats how i know what boost psi im running
I'm gonna try this on my 4.2 A8, hopefully it can be done easily.. But if not thank you anyway, thats GLO!
5 minutr mod, but it's a 10 minute video😂😂😂
Dude, Thank you 1000 BRO. I had invested around $1,800 to get all the oil leak issues fixed on 150k SLINE but disappointing to find out my MAFS was still caked in oil ! I'm going to take it for a test drive tomorrow but I love the way she idling now! I'll send an update... THANKS MAN U GOOD
Any update?
Haven't checked it lately but still runs amazing. @@TarviKaasiku

Thank you for this video. We all know this would be an 800 dollar job at the dealership. They would charge me 1600.00 just because its california 😂
You rock Bruce Bruce 🍺🍺 from 🇨🇦
Thanks bro 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏, I’m here for anything you need bro
@@brucecustommotors thank you my brother

Does this apply to turbo diesel engines also?
Just woke up and glad I'm watching this
What’s up brother how have you been
@@brucecustommotors been good, and how's you and your family doing?
Great video, thank you. Did you upgrade to the RS MAFS?
I have a question I have a 2.0t as well and I want to know which spark plug coils are better the Audi R8 ones or the apt ones
Thanks for the info/video. I was just curious do you need to disconnect/reconnect battery so that it deletes the stored air/fuel curve? Or is it cool to just keep driving after cleaned/reinstalled and it will just relearn?
does this also work with audi a6 v6 biturbo 3.0 tdi 2017
Thanks for the comment on this - engines these days are so hands off we forget about detail like this. this is ESPECIALLY true if you run the oiled K&N filter. Turbo also also blows a little oil through the system (why oil catch cans are installed and also why intake valves of GDI injectors build up so much carbon) and that oil also affects the electrical MAF sensors that are meant to be clean and dry. note: on OLD range rovers with a Bosch MAF I recall they cautioned spraying deeply into the sensor -- curious about others comments on the inside spraying. Here is another one: if you have over 40K miles - replace your ERG valve (some can be rebuilt with a new membrane and spring for cheap)- it will be a boost like this cleaning. I was smoking off the tires after replacing my ERG that was torn up.
Every 3 months is overkill lol but good video!
Hi there bruse I have a audi A1 2011 1.4 tfsi petrol sport back my Question is were is the mass flow sensor on my ride I'm up dating the lights from halogen to led I have done day time running lights cheers man
love how you just launched the q7 to introduce the video.
💪💪💪
Bro your making a video on how to look after your car and your leaving bit in your engine when you show the maf look down there a t25 or t30 seating there
I love the relationship gaining/losing weight analogy 🙂 I will be picking up a 2012 A4 Avant with a V6 Turbo diesel next week. Do you think this will work with my new/used Audi?
Can you leave links where you bought your digital cockpit and instructions how you wired it. I love to have inforormation on the sifter that you put in
Nicely done champ love the info keep them coming and thank you
My pleasure thanks brother💪💪💪
Great video well explained 💪💪💪💪💪
Agreed
Thanks guys keeping the Audi’s fresh
How'd you get the oil filter up there?
I put this manifold on my custom tuned mk6 and lost a lot of power 😢, I’m hoping my tuner can make some adjustments Monday
your car is so beautiful and perfect
thank you so much
Thanks for staying committed.
My pleasure keeping our Audi’s and cars healthy 💪💪🙏🙏
Was looking to get an s5 vert with the 3.0 supercharger...but stumbled over your channel and you and others have me thinking of upgrading a 2.0 instead...which are just far more available than s5 vert and cheaper
hey what's going on definitely,
check out this video i did ua-cam.com/video/uNGqlEYZa4U/v-deo.html
Go with that 3.0. The timing problems from the 2.0 negate just about all the positives
Bro I'm haveing trouble with my 1.8tfsi could you help me out when I drive the responce is good soon as I let off car jolts I turn the car off and back on and all good so I changed spark plugs oil and oil filter and fule filter and it still was doing it so I put in fule mix to clean it up give it a run still no good and theres no codes sooo am I on the right path .....
My cars on stage 2 and it dont have a oil catch can so is it clogging my inlet manafold so I should clean it out and do flap delete or have I gottta replace the inlet and walnut blast the valves and install a catch can ?
Hey brother try this ua-cam.com/video/o0qJfr6I7gk/v-deo.html
I would say maintenance is always a good idea.
Sir Bruce I need your help to upgrade my audi q5 2011 mmi system. Looking forward for a response. Thanks
What is that intake manifold and where can I buy one
Hello,you now your stuff.Grt
The best fuel to air for horsepower is actually 12.1 to on 14.7is for most efficiency and longevity just so you know
Safer too on a turbo car. In the old days (early 2000s) you run 14.7 then you're guaranteed detonation
@@rasonline yeh I’m at 14.7 and runs perfect, I was a little lean with 12.
Thank you man. My 4.2 audi has an MAF issue right now.
What about a audi a4 1.6 b5 2000 model?
'official video' WOW...
You got some nice parts on that engine. Sweet.
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Your channel is giving me hope in being able to keep my 2012 A4. Defitely trying this
Definitely bro would not trade mine for anything
I would let that one go
Same, and my 2013 Q5
Any luck after 3 years lol
Would this work with the Audi TT tdi ?
I have a 2012 Audi S4 what do you recommend for rotors and brakes pads?
Are you trying to increase rotor size
@@brucecustommotors yes need more stopping power.
@@brucecustommotors if not what are the most recommended regular rotors and pads?
I have a buddy who's a pro drifter, when he was just starting he was running a MAF on his SR car and would tell me "bro its 10 Hp in a can" lol
My A6 is the exact same color LOL this Audi here is bad though bro 😱🔥🔥🔥
Going to do this on my 2004 audi convertible 3.0
Are we suppose to loosen the two little bolts??
Same with the 2018 2.7 V6 tdi sports coupe?
One very important step if u do decide to do this your air filter will need to b cleaned aswell for better performance from your vehicle. Thanks for this video I I have the same platform and felt a difference.
good info brother, thanks you god bless
@@brucecustommotors god bless and definitely will sub bro
Hi,
I just bought the map cleaner but do you have any advice on the notorious 3 2 misfire issue?
Thanks
How did it go
also is it located in the same area on h A5 2013
Great Channel by the way.
Thanks brother , let me know if there’s ever anything you need
And how is this spray different from the PC cleaning sprays...
Yoo yo Bruce man do u have a link to the sway bar you used I'm trying to find your video but no luck
Can you do this to a 1.8 t convertable will they fit straight in tia
Audi a4 b7 2.0 tfsi saloon - Im gonna try this one! Hope to feel some difference to its better
Did you get any improvement by doing this?
Will do it for my Q5 almost 5 years no touch the sensor 😁👍
You won’t believe the difference it will make, let me know once you do it it takes 5 minutes,💪🙏🙏🙏
@@brucecustommotors Thanks bro after cleaning air sensor engine idle be stable have power on pedal😁👍
Great content more like this, please. Hope my Audi can fly again🫶
Great tip! Do you know if I can use CRC electronic cleaner instead?
Itll work
After cleaning the maf I launched the car and that was the first time I felt it break traction launching
What is your check engine light on? Definitely don’t wanna do this to my car as I get a check engine light.
hello,if i buy a new maf, it will change something or do i have to keep the old one, clean it and turn it the other way and feel a gain of power doing this ?
You can buy a new one if you want, it’s not that expensive, new is always better. But you have to keep it in the right direction so it will read it properly, if you turn it around it wont
Where can I find the link to the extreme MAF? If and when I make the switch, what are the potential benefits of making the switch? Thanks!
Does this work on diesels??
question; i have a 2007 audi 2.0T quattro, and i have this problem & idk if it’s unique to the car, but hear me out.
whenever i’m accelerating after shifting; i notice the car will seem like it’s losing power out of no where (studdering, sounds from underneath), and it starts giving a gurgling feeling. have you experienced this and if so, what is it and what do you do? 😩
check this first some time they wear out, then we can go from there, keep me posted ua-cam.com/video/Vr8XzO-7sm0/v-deo.html
Have an A4 2.0 TDI will be trying this
Good presentation
Awesome video!
man cool channel i have an audi too.

Hi my name is Bernard, just purchased my 1st Audi A6/S6. I noticed a reduction in power and torque. doesn't give me the UMPH it had when I 1st bought it. So I'll try your suggestion. But what I want to know is where is the power steering reservoir, if the is one for this model. I hear
whining noise coming from what I think is the power steering. although I recently changed the A/C pump a few months ago. Is there a PS reservoir for this model?
How did it go for you
Awesome video 🔥🔥💪💪💪💪
Thanks 🔥
Same here great Video!
What is the name of the artist and song at that starts at 7:28 until the very end of the video? Thank you a lot for the info.
awesome content bro, definitely sharing this video
Much appreciated!
Are u in Houston? Man I feel like I seen this car in Sugarland while I was on my lunch break. I have a black 2010 Audi S5 with the 4.2L V8.
What’s up bro lol🤣😂 yeh I live in Sugarland 💯💯💯💯💪💪💪💪, I think I saw you to what color is your car
@@brucecustommotors Lol I knew it. It's black with a black mesh grille and fog light covers and black/silver wheels.
The most boring video I've seen in a long time, 9 minutes, that can be condensed into 3 minutes. It should have been 1 minute.
What type of seats are those?
You might have video about it, but do you recommend a catch can instead of pcv? And where do you got that pcv delete? Great car, great videos brother!
Boss man I have a question for you I picked up my car from the mechanics they said it’s missing the air flow reeds inside the head is that a easy fix ?
