YES! I KNEW it! When we received these a week ago, I said to my hubby Thijs: "this is the first Regia A&C collection in other colours! What a great idea!" Lovely colors again and I am looking foreward to your teddy's.
And Carlos, we received the first Regia Design Line by Arne & Carlos on February 3, 2015! Indeed over 6 years ago.
It was great fun and I am sure this splendid second one with other colours will be GREAT fun again.

Love the red, blue and green colour way, wow!!!.. actually they are all amazing. I made a pair of sock for my late mother in one of your yarns a few years ago. Last summer (2020) I thoroughly enjoyed the travelogue of your trip to the Lofoten Islands above the Arctic Circle. What a respite those videos were from our concerns about the pandemic. I rewatch your Lofoten video series periodically, and hearing the happy music introduction still brings a smile. So does seeing your 1968 Volkswagen Beetle. 🙂

oooh! A few decades ago (!) I camped in a friendly fisherman's yard on Svolvær during midsummer! Rode the ferry from Bodø, watching the midnight sun! Can't wait for Lofoten yarn. I'm knitting socks with your Mountains & Fjords now. lovely!!

You two have really inspired me to knit more. I love knitting so much--especially socks. This self-patterning yarn of yours produces beautiful socks with much less time. Over the last three years, I have been horribly ill. I have had three major surgeries in the last six months, so I am still recovering. Knitting is the perfect way for me to pass the time. I bought three skeins to start, and I have started the first pair (I have to stick to my yarn budget). Each time I finish a pair, I will send you a picture and order a new skein.

I really like how the beauty of Lofoten has inspired your colour choices. They are all amazing but I think my favourite has to be the one with the red in. The one item of clothing that I have not knitted is socks. This goes back to my mother who taught me my needlework and crafting skills. She always would discourage me by telling me not to make them and enlightening me about her knitted socks. She would tell me that you put so much work into knitting them and you would wear holes in them and then they would be ruined. Needless to say, my desire to make socks went to the wayside! What inspired me to try them was your yarn, the self striping yarn. I absolutely love it and these new choices are wonderful. So I have everything to make a couple pairs but this is as far as I have arrived to date. I found doing brioche stitch easier than the thought of maneuvering so many double pointed needles and still need more courage. In the back of my mind I tell myself if I don't make them, I can make a scarf. Thanks mom! I can't shake her words about the socks but I do have her mindset to make it work. How many skeins would make a decent length scarf......no seriously how much would I purchase? I know I do need to get out the materials and make them........but just don't wear them so I won't be disappointed with big holes in the heels! Got to love your mom! Your country is very beautiful. Thanks for sharing not only knitting but the country and culture......oh yes and the food/recipes!

Jane Cornell If you are concerned about wearing holes in the heels of handknit socks, there are reinforcing nylon yarns that you knit along with your main yarn when working the heel. Reinforcing yarns are thin and in a neutral color. They come in small skeins because you're only using them for the heel.
I knitted a scarf with sock yarn, about 10" wide and 60" long in garter stitch. I bought two 100g skeins just to be on the safe side, as I wasn't using a specific pattern that would have set forth the amount of yarn needed.

I so enjoyed your road trip videos last year! And the new yarn colors are gorgeous. I especially like the bright ones and may have to either knit my stash faster or abandon my vow to knit from stash in 2021. Usually in Houston we really don't need woolen socks but after February's cold snap and statewide electricity blackout... I think I may need more socks!

I received three skeins here in the US yesterday. I ordered from HotYarns and a couple of colors I want were already out of stock🙀 I see more orders in my future. All 8 balls of the new Lofoten line just showed up in my mailbox here in the US this morning! It's all so beautiful. The whole family is getting a pair for Christmas 2022. They are all getting a pair of Pairfects this year. I just finished the last pair last week.

I'm so excited, I've just picked up a ball of colour 03653 which the website tells me is called Star Night (in English at least!) and it's so lovely to watch this and see where the inspiration came from and see those colours in nature represented in these yarns.
