On dogs stealing socks....yes, when I sit my friend's German Shepard. She is a tennis ball fanatic and when I don't play enough with her(in her little mind haha), she will steal everything like shoes, socks, hats, you name it haha.
Taking the time to have your ankle heal was the best decision. Water therapy will be a great thing, just go easy and finish your healing. It is more important for a complete heal up. Happy New Year's Kelly can't wait for your your next adventures. ❤
Glad to see you on the mend... never was good at letting injuries heal fully . Playing sports ( baseball , football and racing motocross ) I was walking hallways . bending stiff ankles and wrists and my neck ( don't ask ) which in retrospect was probably a bad idea . But I was not the sit down type and I hated watching television . Luckily I can really get into music and have over 1800 albums ..love ..love music . Every one from Patsy Cline to Ministry and Meshuggah . Finly is such a good dog and handsome boy . I miss my Great Danes so much they were super loving and great protectors which made us feel very secure . Well you and Finly have a good New Year and I'll do some remembering and thank God for the wonderful life I've had . PK

Hey Kelly, Glad to see that your leg is okay. I have a suggestion for you regarding the fish - instead of drying it with a paper towel (which might contain chemicals), just lay it on some sort of a net drying rack thing where it can be raised a few centimeters so that it can drip and get airflow from below as well as from anywhere else, and just defrost it this way. If you want you can sprinkle some salt over it which will penetrate into the meat and help it thaw faster.

Yes, the golden's do that for sure! When you reached to grab it and he backed up, that is exactly what mine does! I love how you shut the door - that'll make him stop. If you get him a few toys, he will no longer go after the socks.

Glad to see you feeling better! Ankle injuries are a long healing process and I’ve been through it. Took me 8 weeks ( I’m a little bit older) but still had to be careful not to injure it again for a few more weeks. Be careful and can’t wait for your next video coming up!
I was reminded of the Jim Carrey movie Ace Ventura Pet Detective when I saw your "Pole Spear Room. I though to myself, "NIce Room of Death!" Although I am not against hunting or fishing, just that it is a huge collection of tools for hunting, fishing and spearing of edible creatures. I am impressed! Mr. Finley would get a pass from for anything he does. He is just too cute to get mad at.

We have that same stove. I love the stove other than the fact that you can't set the time without using a smart phone. Have you used the Air Fryer option yet? I highly suggest ordering a large air fryer basket.
My dog steals socks too. But she only steals the ones I’ve already used. She likes the stink I guess. She hides them in her bed for when I leave the house. I think it’s comforting to her and helps her with separation anxiety. Dogs are funny
@traviswebster2769 - I had a golden that ran off twice. Once ice fishing and once duck hunting. So i left my socks there and came back after dropping my kids home. Both times the dog was sitting next to the socks waiting for me. They certainly identify our socks as a personal item. I won't even tell you how many socks disappeared when I had a male ferret.
I’m glad you are getting better because after 30 years of ankle problems after breaking my right ankle and twisting it around backwards and 2 surgeries I finally had mine replaced in December of 22 and had 4 months of rehab after the second cast was removed,
