The first time I saw endgame I was so in shock that I don’t think I blinked for three hours. The second time was on a massive screen in 3D and I was fortunate that the 3D glasses were so huge that no one saw me sobbing for three hours because I grew up reading the comics and I knew what was coming.

@@nintenmetro that's actually an even cooler line. "why are you safe?" is both a threat, as well as an acknowledgement of the privilege of those that didn't disappear. that line adresses how unfair it must've felt for hawkeye when his family was lost, but all these horrible people survived.

Nebula DOES NOT KNOW. She only knows Gamora died there because of something Thanos did, but she doesn't know exactly what happened or if it was related to the stone.
This! I see a lot of fans get mad at Nebula for Vormir, but she didn't know about the sacrifice. She probably thought Gamora tried to fight Thanos and he killed her, which is a more logical conclusion that "there's this magical curse in which a person needs to lose a loved one in order to get the stone, even when not other stone has a condition of any kind to retrieve it"
And Nebula has never been to Vormir so she wouldn't know anything about the sacrifice
@@daianaaguilar7698 yeah. In her mind it makes more sense than the genocide guy killed Gamora just because, as even Gamora didn’t know or believe Thanos actually cared for her. That and the fact two best friends were going, she wouldn’t think only one of them would return alive.
Nebula probably just thought Thanos killed Gamora after he got the stone cause he only needed her to tell him where the stone is. Afterwards she would just try to stop him so...
Correct. For all we know, Nebula could have thought that Gamora tried to stop Thanos from getting the stone on vormir but got killed in the process. Gamora is a fighter after all.

The "I love you 3000" line from Morgan Stark is a reply to Tony telling her he loves her a ton. Morgan being a genius Stark knows that a ton is 2000 pounds, so instead of saying I love you more she said I love 3000 because 3000>2000.
I never put that together and I've watched this movie SO many times.

Infinity War and Endgame were a once-in-a-franchise event, amazing, heartbreaking, with all the weight of every Marvel movie before them 🤩 loved them very much, but there is one thing better only - that EPIC INTRO! 😂 and the Chris/Goku cosplay just *chef's kiss*
I don't know about that, if they get the same directors or someone similarly talented, Secret Wars could be better. They're great movies, but that doesn't mean Marvel can't do better, at some point down the road.

@@rileyribble6733 I see it happening, and executed well, as long as Fiege remains in charge. Why wouldn't he? They are already laying the pieces in place. Marvel's got countless stories to tell, Endgame and Infinity War were not pinnacles. If anything they were proof that we have exciting things to come. FF4, X-Men, all the villains that come with them, Spidey. The MCU leveled up.
Tell that to Spider-Man Far From Home, Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness, and Secret Wars.

Honestly so sweet to see Tony and Nebula interact. Nebula is never been in a learning environment where failure doesnt result in pain. Here she gets to play a game, and she isn’t punished for losing. And she gets to win and you can see how confused and happy she is. Precious.
Just a little fun fact: the time travel logic in this movie is that everytime they mess with past, they create an alternate timeline/universe. that’s why the main timeline doesn’t get effected at all
No it’s that by returning the stones to exactly after they were taken it makes it so nothing changed in those timelines. Didn’t you listen to the convo between the Ancient one and Bruce Banner

And although Banner explains it that way to the Ancient One it is still BS and not what happens at all. And here is why (spoilers for LOKI)

The TVA pruned the alternate timelines in which Cap did not return the stones. That's how timetravel works in the MCU. The TVA is also the only valid explanation for why old Cap did not emerge from the Quantum Tunnel in the end but seemingly was living that happy end with Peggy in this timeline although he obviously could not have done so. Or rather he should not have been able to; although, if the TVA intervened somehow, he could. But that would imply that Steve came back some time after Peggy had married that soldier she talked about in the museum clip AND that they kept his return a secret AND old Peggy while suffering from dementia remembered only times before he came back.

I loved how hawkeye was the opening sequence. It instantly brought the stakes back after a year of waiting between films.
The actress who played Morgan Stark made an adorable video of herself using Cap's shield as a sled.
And also, Seb, "I love you 3000" comes from what Robert Downy Jr.'s son would tell him. So sweet!

They borrowed something from the comic books: the dots are not always connected as carefully as you think.
When they brought Nick Fury into that end credits scene in the first Iron Man film, they did not have this specific ending plotted out.
The way it works is that writers and directors include what details they can from the comic books, then fans and future directors have the option of connecting the dots themselves later.
For example, when Thor struck Captain America's shield in Avengers, included in the sound effects was a bell-like tone. Fans of the comic books knew that this was the vibranium in the shield converting incoming kinetic energy into sound, and that is why the shield is so protective. (That is also why the protection of the shield has limits.)
At the time, they may not have known that Black Panther would be made, but when it was, it opened up the details of how T'Challa's suit absorbed the energy of incoming attacks to use later. The connective tissue was there for the writers and director of Black Panther to play with, even if the director of Avengers didn't know what someone else would do with that detail.
Everyone has fun throwing balls in the air for other directors to use or ignore as they please.
You should be impressed with the Russo brothers because they had the task of finding a landing place for a very large number of balls that other people threw in the air without specific intent.
fun fact, the orchestra only used half of the instruments for the avengers theme due to Thanos which i found very cool, hence why the intro sounds slightly different and more heroic

In the beginning, on the ship, it wasn't that it was the first time Nebula won something. Tony was probably the first person to show her how to have fun and enjoy herself. She had probably not played a game, since being taken by Thanos, as a child. She didn't stay with the Guardians, after Volume 2, so her time alone with him was probably her first opportunity to do something like that.
The way she looks when Tony is so nice to her when she wins...my heart broke for her.

I'm watching it today and I switched to being cautiously optimistic after reading some fan reactions.
It was better than I imagined
Thor is actually such a solid depiction of depression, if it ever feels played up is because he lost everything and then feels guilty about literally half the universe being snapped
Sadly, he's a pretty accurate depiction of what can happen to soldiers (especially male soldiers) when they develop severe depression and PTSD. The way he's willing to almost end himself for the snap, how hollow his "I went for the head" sounds, the joy in being worthy, the pain when he tells Bruce not to say Thanos' name...all very fitting. Even how he loses himself in the alcohol and food. Like you said, solid depiction. It hurts my heart that so many people miss that the jokes about him exist because if they didn't, no one would be sit through a movie with that much weight of sadness.
Finally . It was like yesterday u started iron man and now u r at endgame already. Can't wait for ur reaction especially for fat thor 😂

But i just wanted to say the thing that hit me the hardest is when scott sees cassie all grown up he realizes his greatest fears came true. He was a father who wasnt there. And you can see his heart shatter when he hugs cassie.

I identify with Thor so much in this movie. After a lengthy bout with cancer my mother had a stroke in her sleep, and my brother and I chose to pull the plug. The depression I still go through is very similar to Thor, and I would give almost anything to get another moment with my mom.
Nebula didn’t know that a sacrifice needs to be made to get the Soul stone. That’s why she didn’t tell them
It's amazing how they managed to turn one of the most hated moments from the comics into an awesome one.

When Seb wore Cap’s helmet and held Thor’s hammer, I knew then I couldn’t wait for the moment Cap shows him he’s worthy.

Out of all the reactions Iv'e seen of Endgame, you are the only one to notice and pointed out that Nat and Hawkeye are going after the Soul Stone. You realised what would happen next and the look on your face made me go, Ah shit he knows and it isn't going to be good. On a slightly better note did you notice the intro music was different. Well half of the orchestra was missing because they got snapped. Pretty cool detail that is missed quite easily. Can't wait for part two now. Let the flood gates open.

You can tell that this bit was most DEFINITELY on a budget when compared to the more big-time UA-camrs, and also that he's put a lot into this, bless his heart. It's like he's a kid again, because he's so excited! And that's why I relate so much to this. These movies definitely brings out my inner child as well, as the Avengers/MCU films are my most favorite movie franchise EVER! And I also know what it's like being the smaller fish (UA-cam channel) compared to an ocean of big bad sharks (big-time UA-cam channels); you're definitely a big-time UA-camr compared to me, but I'm still pushing on through! So thank you for doing what you do, because it's very inspiring to small-time 'tubers like me, which helps me inspire even smaller channels that aspires to do what we do: *Entertain.* :')😭💖🔥 _(tears of joy)_

I can perfectly remember my emotions in the cinema. It was epic sharing this experience with MCU fans, all cheering, laughing and crying at the same time. And it's epic to share the same feelings with you, Seb. Eager to see Part 2!

Loki has released his own series where he starts when he flees through that cube, it is very interesting and talks about the true loki as he is not a villain and may even appear in the future. I hope one day reactions to the Loki series I would like to see it...

I hope you're alright after the many shots you're going to down after this movie ends. Watching it in the cinemas made me cry so much, and that's something I rarely do except during the HP franchise (Please do Fantastic Beasts movie reactions too!) and Infinity war and of course, Endgame. This movie especially made my heart wrench so much I was just left speechless and shock.

nope, the reason why she said i love you 3000 is bcs tony said to her i love you tons and a ton weighs 2000lbs . As you can see she is pretty smart (like her dad) so she knows that and the "i love you 3000" is her way of saying i love you more than just a ton :')
I love the detail that Steve is providing therapy for others just like Sam used to.
After you watch the Loki show, ask yourself this: did the TVA send that rat? It's awfully convenient. See what I mean about other people connecting the dots?
You'll understand why she thinks of this as her family when you watch the Black Widow solo movie (great subtext about how society treats women and girls).
In the comic books, New Asgard was in Nebraska or something like that. Much more poetic that they chose the site of Odin's death.
In the comic books, "who is Ronin" was a big mystery that took a while to solve.
The platonic friendship Natasha has with Steve and Clint are something I love about the MCU. There's real love there.
That means a different Loki is alive, and he created a new timeline. You'll learn more in the Loki show.
This version of Thanos is different. He did not have to sacrifice so much to get the stones.

Don't worry, Seb. You're not alone about not crying when Tony died. I felt the sadness, but I just didn't feel the tears for him.
I think because of the promo buzz around Infinity War when the Russo brothers said one of the major Avengers were going to die....and the internet chat sites went nuts trying to guess who it was from that movie's trailer.
The major 3 team leaders were Tony, Steve and Thor.....which is who was standing on the battle ground, ready to initiate combat with Thanos. So, it had to be one of the 3 team leaders to fall in order to give it more weight.
That, plus the age of Robert. He started the journey over 10 years ago. He finished all of his phases with a well rounded character growth story arc.
Steve was the one I was scared of dying. But they gave him the one last thing his character needed to finish out his story arc, and that was closure. He got to fix his regrets and gain some happy life before he passed on.
Thor hasn't finished his journey. He is just now finding his way out of his severe ptsd/Depression and Anxiety. He needs to fulfill one more major victory that is meant for him to complete, and then find some peace, before either traveling the galaxy like Captain Marvel and protecting his realms in some newer way, now that Heimdall is gone and can't forsee things for him.
Or he enjoys a retired life and works low key for .....well. Can't say. No spoilers. Lol
We've got one more movie to close out phase 3. I can't wait for you to begin phase 4 with the streamed shows. Great stuff ahead.
Don't apologize for crying. This movie made everyone's feelings go for a rollercoaster ride. You feel drained and exhausted after, like you were on the rollercoaster for hours and just got your senses back to normal.
Hopefully, you'll go to the theaters to experience one of these phase 4 movies. It is a phenomenal feeling to see these with a crowd of hyped up people.
Oh yeah. You should watch this again and count how many callbacks they did, stretching all the way back from the phase one.
The one that hit me hard, unexpectedly was when Tony hugged Peter when he came back.
That was a callback to the Spiderman Homecoming movie.
Tony reached over Peter to open the car door, and Peter thought he was giving him hug.
Tony said, "No. Just getting the door for you. We're not there yet." And then he grabbed Peter in this one....😭😭😭!
Considering that was just a mistaken on Tom's part when he messed up, and Robert deciding to do what he does best....adlib that bit about them not being there yet for a hug...and the Russo's kept it in. What an emotional payoff.
Bucky and Steve doing their "Don't do anything stupid, til I get back" bit was another favorite I liked. Them being in reversed positions from the first Captain America movie. 💔😭
Now, Bucky is the man out of his time who is just about alone and feels it, now that Steve changed things and got super old.
I desperately need a collab between Seb and internet mum Ash, putting this into the universe cause they're just the best reactors out there
