Thanos is a titan and titans are the only beings able to kill gods Especially in greek mythology , The Titans were the previous generation, and family of gods, whom the Olympians had to overthrow, and banish from the upper world, in order to become the ruling pantheon of Greek gods.

These Eternals of Titan have no connection to the Titans of Greek mythology who were the generation of Greek gods that preceded Zeus, Hera, Hades, Poseidon, etc.
Thinking of Asgardians as if they were aliens that just look exactly like humans can explain a bit. They’re not immortal, and the royal family does have magical blood, allowing them to live longer than their people. But Asgardians are just built different. They’re considered gods because of their durability, longevity, strength, and magic. Like, if something came down to a planet when it was relatively primitive, displaying such abilities would easily make many different species see them as “gods”. So they have the title of gods but they aren’t immortal like the Greek or Egyptians gods
Odin says in Dark World "We are not gods. We are born. We live. We die". They're just regarded as gods by humans. Cause over a thousand years ago if some otherwordly beings beamed down to Earth with mighty powers what would you think they were?
He has the Power Stone, but the director's said in an interview that he wasn't using its power when he fought Hulk. There's a video on UA-cam titled "Why Thanos Was Able to Defeat Hulk in Infinity War" where this question is addressed in an interview.
1. hulk went missing since the ending of Age of Ultron, not Civil War.. 2. the Iron Spider suit was the one that Tony is giving Peter at the end of Spiderman Homecoming for the announcement of the new member of the Avengers, and Peter rejected the offer.. 3. those are not flying dinosaurs, those are the flying thingy from the 1st avengers.. 4. the Collector first appearance was from the endcredits of Thor Dark World, where the friends of Thor brought the Reality Stone to him..then he also appeared in the Guardians of the Galaxy 1 explaining the Infinity Stones to the Guardians.. 5. Ebony Maw (squidward) is Thanos' lead scientist..not a sorcerer.. release part 2! hehehe
Just an fyi. . .in the comics Thanos is so strong he can destroy planets with his fists alone. I would think in the mcu he is as strong as the Hulk with thousands of years of combat experience.
Asgardians are not true gods. Remember in the first Thor movie Jane Foster posited The notion that when ancient terrains first saw these powerful aliens they mistook them for God's.
Love your reactions!!! 4:11 - To your point, brother, the Hulk is a BRAWLER. Yes, he picked up a few things while on Sakaar, but he still tends to handle the vast majority of his opponents with sheer, overwhelming brute force. Enter Thanos, an intergalactic warlord with CENTURIES of hand-to-hand fighting experience. The second Thanos figured out that the Hulk wasn't a SKILLED fighter, he went to work on him. And whupped his ass.
Thanos in comics had always beaten hulk, even tho thanos avoided hulk cause of how strong he is when he gets angry, tho Thanos isn’t stronger than hulk I mean he’s strong as hell but he ain’t stronger than hulk, but how he beaten hulk on that ship is like pressure points idk but Thanos is very very smart and way better fighter
Compared to Thanos, who is an extreme strategist, Hulk's method of mindlessly throwing aggressive punches was bound to catch up to him. Thanos was the more skilled fighter because he thought out his every move, ultimately explaining why he was able to so easily defeat the physically-strong Hulk. No power stone been use.

Was NOT the power stone, geez. 🙄
This movie is so cathartic
Odin says in Dark World "We are not gods. We are born. We live. We die". They're just regarded as gods by humans. Cause over a thousand years ago if some otherwordly beings beamed down to Earth with mighty powers what would you think they were?
And it is corrected in ragnarok they are gods it was some dumb Disney shit they did before phase 3 came around.
Cap is literally the first avenger
He does that to Hulk because he is strong, and he has the power stone.
He has the Power Stone, but the director's said in an interview that he wasn't using its power when he fought Hulk. There's a video on UA-cam titled "Why Thanos Was Able to Defeat Hulk in Infinity War" where this question is addressed in an interview.
The dark CA suit was from the Nomad story arc
İf there wasnt spidey and wong iron man was long gone
How did you call that Squidward line????? That was fuckin amazing!!!😅
1. hulk went missing since the ending of Age of Ultron, not Civil War..
2. the Iron Spider suit was the one that Tony is giving Peter at the end of Spiderman Homecoming for the announcement of the new member of the Avengers, and Peter rejected the offer..
3. those are not flying dinosaurs, those are the flying thingy from the 1st avengers..
4. the Collector first appearance was from the endcredits of Thor Dark World, where the friends of Thor brought the Reality Stone to him..then he also appeared in the Guardians of the Galaxy 1 explaining the Infinity Stones to the Guardians..
5. Ebony Maw (squidward) is Thanos' lead scientist..not a sorcerer..
release part 2! hehehe
He is the collector. He is in both dark world and gotg
The planet part of Thor Ragnarok was from the story Planet Hulk.
By the last time we saw hulk was in age of ultron
i think the Collector and the Grand Master from the thrash planet are brothers.
Yeaaaaaah, Thanos is just a better, more concentrated fighter. He used it to throw off Hulk, once that happened…
Just an fyi. . .in the comics Thanos is so strong he can destroy planets with his fists alone. I would think in the mcu he is as strong as the Hulk with thousands of years of combat experience.
They aren't gods. Being a god is loki's complex, but Odin explains that they arent that much different than humans.
The 2008 Hulk would have gave thanos some work😂
😂
Lmao the hulk that could barely beat blonsky. He would’ve got destroyed.
Thanos had the power stone during his fight with the Hulk
Oooo !
He's not weak in space...Thanos is just superior.
Asgutdians are actually gods. Just really powerful humanoids.
Oh we were confused on that!
Hulk is incredibely strong and is just brute force. Thanos is a trained fighter and a titan. He can take on the Hulk
Can’t wait today part 2
The Collector and The Grand Master are brothers.
Yo fr
Asgardians are not true gods. Remember in the first Thor movie Jane Foster posited The notion that when ancient terrains first saw these powerful aliens they mistook them for God's.
Asgardians are Gods they were just doing some wild stuff in the first two phases and corrected it.
In Norse mythology yes. But not in the MCU. Oden and Loki both say " The humans think of us as God's.". Even Ego says "... with a small 'g'".
@@VictorD80they are gods in Marvel. Also they correct it in Ragnarok by addressing them as such.
Wanda's born a witch. The reason Thanos can beat God's cause Gods are the children of Titans , it's biblical.
Wanda and Quicksilver are children of Magneto.
You guys underestimate the power of the stones. Thanos already had the Power Stone so its easy for him to take down the Hulk.
Loki my favourite since dark world 😢
Thanos might not be a god, but he is a Titan
Thanos in comics had always beaten hulk, even tho thanos avoided hulk cause of how strong he is when he gets angry, tho Thanos isn’t stronger than hulk I mean he’s strong as hell but he ain’t stronger than hulk, but how he beaten hulk on that ship is like pressure points idk but Thanos is very very smart and way better fighter
They're strongest in their home world Asgard outside of home someone like Thanos, Hulk The Thing has a good chance defeating or killing them.
Thanos was a Titan.. and Asgardians lifespan are not immortal gods..they live thousands of years than Human.
_Loki is a frost, giant, blessed with the abilities of a God, but he is not a god_
No power stone been use.
part 2 please!!
Watch Wandavision, you’ll learn about more about Wanda… and vision.
