I love mine but it started to not turn on unless I cranked the volume and I am not good at repairs. I bought a Fosi Audio TP-02 sub amp and added some insulation to the cabinet. It now sounds amazing.

Alright alright so after buying a new battery and installing it. My headset wheel decided not to work. I cleaned it with 100% alcohol which I think made it worse. I think the alcohol ate away the rubber wheel and now it doesn’t click so be careful. I actually found headsets alone no dock or cushions for 35$ on eBay. Gonna buy that and take the wheel/ board from it. Good luck guys! Headset has been with me too many hours to let go

Thanks my man, I've had this same loose/jiggling/unstable connection on one of these things for a couple years until now. Using the edge of a jewelry screwdriver to squish the frame of the mini- USB-A port and bend it into a tighter fit worked PERFECTLY. By the looks of the comments and views on this video, this is an incredibly common issue, makes me wonder why they're still manufacturing these with such a cheap and outdated part (maybe they're not, but I got mine in 2021 and that still seems like too late to be using a mini USB port in anything worth money). A little more details on the first part popped loose....

You removed many connections that were not necessary, such as the keyboard, mouse, and LED. You could have completed the work without removing them, even the side LED.

I had a similar experience when I did my butcher block desks. One was so streaky I had to sand it all the way down and redo it. I didn't know about wipe on then so I had to just try again with the brush on. I am redoing my office with diff size tops this week and I will 100% be using wipe on. SO much easier to apply. Might take a few more coats to get the same thickness but it will be worth it. It's almost impossible to screw up. Your piece looks great.

mine just wont start to carve at all. It just crashes when it gives the command to lase. I simply cannot measure the pwn signal just because of this lmao. It works normal untill it tries to give pwm command of firing laser

I just bought some Vland LED lights to upgrade from Factory. The videos I saw you had to remove a lot more than just that access panel is that how easy it is or do I need to remove all the extra trim

Mine did this and it's eventually why I threw it away. It was a widespread issue. I'm almost positive it has nothing to do with smoke residue on the laser. I would also take mine apart and it would work for a while, then start having issues again.

Jesus Christ, that was incredibly painful. Ended up stripping the screw holding the WLAN card and thought it was over. Luckily, it's still possible to open the Alienware wide enough to replace the battery. However, after managing that, my hard drive disk couldn't be found. Turns out the SSD-3 slot was a bit loose, needed a flash light and a ton of un-screwing and re-screwing to catch that. Then, no wifi. Figured I damaged the WLAN card to the point of no return and yet, a complete removal and flash light check shows that it was also just out of place. Miraculously, everything is in place now and I'm grateful for it. Missed the whole debate though lol. Thanks for the video.
