Hello mate. I remember most of that gear and watching your thoughts and reviews of it. I even bought some of it myself such as the Solo stove 1800 pot and the Evernew titanium spirit burner. Remember the trouble you had getting through that oak log with your bushcraft black? Man that was a hard piece of wood, I felt for sure the Mora had met its match and you were going home with a two piece blade. Great walk down memory lane mate, thank you. Be safe and be lucky.
Hey my awesome friend how are you m8? Hope you are as fine as frogs hair! 😉 Yeah it certainly takes it back a bit 😂 it was good to get out with the full original kit again. Chat soon m8. Glad you enjoyed the vid bud.
Hey buddy great to hear from looking forward to your next vid m8. Evernew is certainly quality gear! Expensive though, but I will say I feel like the stove I bought was more of an investment. Take it easy buddy.
Bugger, posted while typing! Bloody technology. My sleeping bag is still a 1970's foil lined "Moon Bag". Warm yes, but it sounds like a crisp packet when you move. Dunno, if anyone else remembers them? I've just about retired my bomb proof 120 litre cyclops II bergan. It's heavy even when empty, and I'm no sherpa these days. Bought way back in 1986 to replace my issue "large pack". I might need to get a folding bow saw, though, so I'm not lugging the full one around. I'm using Japanese pull saws at the mo, which are quite good. All the best.
Very cool m8. I was using pretty much anything I could get my hands on years before buying any of this kit. Money was a matter when I started out 😂 it still is, but now it's a matter of bills can wait me and the Mrs come first! What's the bag like for condensation?
Excellent gear load out. Would love to see an overview video of the swanndri reidston anorak your wearing. Would like to add one to my collection of swanndri, two times original lace up hood swanndri, and two ranger shirts. The reidston anorak is now in three colours. Autumn check is on sale. But haven't been sold on the lining the reidston has. Enjoying your channel bro.
I can certainly do that for you buddy. To be honest it's my only Swandri garment "currently" I do plan to add more from this years bushcraft show. I do like the style of the ranger shirts. I'll get a video sorted soon as. Thanks for the support. Take it easy.
Haha it's very light! But £150 light! Back back has since been swapped out in favour of the savotta-backpack-339 saddle sack. This load out was just surplus gear I don't really use anymore. Thanks for stopping by.
😂 Hey Brindle my good man. Hope you are well. You can inform your grand son, that I wear fjallraven exclusively. My wool shirts are fjallraven granite and tarmac shirts. I wear singi trek shirts in the summer. I wear fjallraven Vida pro trousers. My jacket is red and black buffalo check padded wool. I also use a few garments from Swandri, mainly the reidston anorak green and check and the autumn check Northgate shacket. Hope this helps. Thanks for dropping in take it easy.

Great looking kit! I've heard quite a bit about the Evernew gear and the prices of it. Ive never used any of it personally. Love these gear videos 👍

It's always enjoyably seeing a gear dump. I have to get myself an axe like that some day.
Hey there Daniel great to hear from you buddy. It's a great axe indeed. Take care.
What a monster back pack .
Since been replaced and I'm much happier now! 😃
@@BushcraftWithSteOutdoorsI don't think it wrong or bad , it is just massive , great for a few days camping and larger items

That's the most expensive 150ml kettle that I have & will ever see. Nice gear I like the backpack.

Some nice old gear you have there, Ste. Thanks for showing it. Happy Easter! 👍🏻🐰
Cheers Jeff m8 great to hear from you buddy. Take it easy.
Nice kit Ste. On behalf of all the old codgers watching, please let me be the first to say, "We've got Y fronts that are older than that" LOL.
😂 and they would still be more useful than some of the gear on the market today! 😄
@@BushcraftWithSteOutdoors better than a millbank bag...

Hello mate, great vid as per usual.
I sold my karrimor sabre and missed it, so replaced it😂😂
