Holy moly I tried your recipe tonight and wow. This was the most soft and fluffy donuts I’ve ever made. 10 times better than any donut shop I’ve been to. I used bread flour instead of all purpose and my mind was blown away with the results. 2 thumbs up. 👍🏾 👍🏾

I just made some today, they were so good! They really did taste fluffy and light, even the ones I slightly burn still tasted fluffy! Thank you for such an easy recipe, and for anyone that doesn't have a tea towel, a thin fabric like the store fabric bags also work, like the adidi fabric bags. I'm definitely making these for my family for Christmas! 🤶😌

Okay i like the way you explain the instructions, i understand everything, in in the process of making them and as a eleven year old this recipe is great and its turning out amazing, whenever i cook something sweet or really good it dissapears in a few minutes, and instead of making them donutes im making them all donut holes, and i just cook them in a saucepan with oil. My mom used to make simple donuts Swedish style in a cast iron pan and with Crisco. Just plain donuts without a bunch of stuff on them. A pinch of cinnamon gave them the superb subtle taste. Never have had anything to compare to them.

They look wonderful. I have a Brod & Taylor proofing box. You can set your bulk fermentation or proofing temperature to your desired heat level. I don't know about everyone else's houses but here in the MD suburbs of DC summer temperatures can be scalding hot with high humidity and winters can be bitterly cold. We try to keep the house temp set to be 76 year round. But there's always variability inside. That's why I got the box. Beware the price is well north of $100, but less than $200 (at least the last time I checked). I bake a lot of breads so I needed it and have had it for years. I've never been disappointed in my results. I also use the instant yeast (just regular dry yeast ground finer) in pretty much all my baking. You can buy it online by the pound for around $6-$7. Costco also carries it.
