This is an AMAZING campaign, maps look amazing, scenary wise and path wise, lots of cool tricks, but the AT's seem too free, although I'm a total noob, I'd like to have some kind off challenge for the maps, as their mostly grass/dirt, wich is my favorite style, so I guess +++ campaign and also the best in 2023!
some maps AT are tricky but most are pretty free
you underestimate my skill issue
I think 23 will be a struggle AT, but the rest look OK.
You cannot call all these AT's free and yourself a total noob in the same sentence...
@@ComposedQuality They are relatively easy compared to previous campaigns. For the ones I've done so far I felt like I was going through them about as quickly as people like Wirtual normally do, and I only got the AT on *one* black track last campaign...

i like this youtube "exclusive" content. as someone who watches most streams, there usually isn't a new scrapie video i haven't already seen the majority of. maybe its something you try to do a little more of! keep up the hard work!

It did my heart so good to see Scrapie also struggle on 15. Well, "struggle."
Still mindboggling to me how he almost oneshot a map like this. He was less than one tenth away from AT on first discovery. How is that even possible?!

The crazy part is that he is correct. That map is a remake of a TMNF track from 2010 called Tears of the Past. It's the most awarded map from 2010 on TMX.
I didn't hit walls on 15 a lot. I usually flew straight out of the track on the sausage u-turn.
there is 2 of those, second one i spent all the time hunting to get that exit well, scrapie does in 3 tries, his exit speed is amazing on the begining of the end too.
Map 15 is evil. Got 37.8 after 12 hours grinding. Im ready to go goldskip on that fucker. How does anyone do that map in 3-4 tries. Blows my mind.
Me: Takes 1 hour to get author on the first 3 tracks of the campaign
Scrapie: *Gets all 25 author medals in 41 minutes*

I’ve only played the first 15 levels but really like it so far. Author medals were really easy besides 15 too
After many many hours of struggle i got at on 15. But now i need to do 14 cause i am really bad at that kind of maps.
You've said in the beginning that you want to know how newbie friendliy this campaign is: I started playing around six weeks ago. Mostly ranked after I "finished" the summer campaign. After six weeks I had 11 Author, 11 Gold, 2 Silver, 1 Bronze. And keep in mind that I hunted ATs the last few days.
Well and now I've played four hours and the first 15 tracks and have 12 Author medals already. And I doubt that I got this good over night xD
Oh and I am not complaining. It feels definetely nice for a noob xD

So many cool maps in this one. Great mix of tech and fullspeed, and a fantastic bobsleigh map too! I love the callbacks to previous maps as well, and the classic 08 map doesn't disappoint in the slightest. Map 21 definitely stands out to me.
It took 3 years to finally have good campaigns, this one is just great, you can definitely see that they listen to the community and want to make it better.
I love this campaign. I also like how Scrapie talks here, more adult and serious.

last campaign got 23/25 AT was missing 21 and 25 , this campaign im sure i won't get all ATs some red and black track ATs are way too hard for me , wi'll have to wait next season to try getting full ATs :/

Last season we had a press forward ice map, now you add left and right with an oscillating pattern...
I guess in the winter campaign there will be breaks added aswell xDDD
I think you can wallhit on 23 instead of ice 360. Not sure if that's going to be easier though.
im still stuck on 15 but its good to know that once its over it should be a breeze

The bobsled gave me hell. (First time playing trackmania) But after getting gold on it after many fails I started getting consistently good at it and now feel honestly really good at my skill on it

Got ATs on the first 20 now, after around 3 hours of play, which is by far the fastest clear I've done of a campaign. Definitely an easier campaign AT-wise, and a lot of enjoyable tracks overall. Track 18 is my favourite, that first drift in particular feels REALLY nice. Track 20 feels like what you'd get if your average track 21 tech map was downgraded to a red map. Similar feel, but less brutal.
Track 23 is going to be a big issue for me though, so far I've only gotten silver on it. Time to learn how to do an ice 360 consistently I guess.
A lot of the maps seem to be "clean run = AT" instead of "clean run but with significant optimization = AT" which isn't entirely unreasonable given the execution requirements for some of the maps, but they really should've just stuck with "clean run = gold" and "next step is AT".
Honestly looks greats and its what a difficulty shift should be going from the different color layers, white should be wide open and overall simple to finish, while red should be high difficulty, and black being a challenge for people. This campaign seems to hit that nicely with a nice mix of playstyles (but mostly tech this time around lol).

Hey Scrapie, since you said that your ears get wrecked. I heard that Beyerdynamics boost high frequencies quite a lot, to the point of pain. There is a project for eqing headphones. It is called autoeq and is not too hard to set up. Maybe this would be something interesting for you to look into.
Cant wait for the reverse campaign on this, gonna be pain 😂

14 is terrible though. I suck at bobsleigh so I can never play the red maps outside ranked.

I was flying through the AT's as a average to reasonable noob. Got cocky and was thinking this is going to be eeeeassy. Then I've been hard stuck on 18/19/20 so far xD Serves me right. Haven't even tried the black maps yet.
Apparently nadeo themselves cant distinguish between ice and road, so they put signs on transitions lol

scrapie when they do winter campaign. get top 11 streams and do event where win get 10 sub from each loser. win is first to beat the author time. when someone beat author time maps ends you go to next one. but other drive get chance to finish the map. if tie goes to who got most second place then if tie then most 3 place in all maps/
Funny how all the pros and tech players are finding these ATs super easy, and for me this season is insanely difficult. I found the spring campaign to be easy, it's the only campaign I have all authors on so far.

This campaign seems ALOT easier than summer 23’. I just started a month ago but I’ve got author medals on multiple tracks so far. The only one I had a issue with was 14 since I’m not good at ice. Very fun none the less and grinding for pb’s is still nice

Very funny things happened but I got 3 top 1s from 2 golds and a silver medal because its so new 😂 love the autumn colours but I think because of my internet going down I didn't get the prestige skins

Feels like the ATs are too easy. Normally I have to grind maps for awhile for them but i played through blue earlier and got ATs within 5 minutes on all of them
I have gold on all the maps except 21 right now (missing gold by 0.7 seconds).. There were some maps that honestly had no business being in this campaign. Map 08 was ridiculous. I repeated that map over and over again with no consistency.. wouldn't get gold to save my life, and then some random run I get AT. 0.o
There were a few maps that were so insanely skill based. I personally loved them, but dear god I feel for lesser skilled players.
Map 21 is infuriating - not because it's overly difficult, but it's just so poorly designed. There are so many parts that will just toss your car.. it doesnt play smooth at all.. especially that one break-neck stop corner before the gap..
Map 18 is probably going to be difficult for people, but I really liked it. Got gold without much difficulty.
Map 19 was another one. Lots of painful bits, but not terribly difficult.

Nowadays I want to play more ranked, and I don't really care how hard the medal's are, just how consistent the maps are, and the summer campaign was more or less pretty good (at least for me), sure there were some harder maps, but in general it was okay... This season idk... For now, I'm not really that pleased with it, but we'll see later on.
