Thanks for resurrecting this technique. I did this in a stamping class MANY years ago to achieve the look of snow on trees and loved the effect. You've kicked it up a few notches. Thanks for making card-making fun and affordable with everyday products most of us have. You're a treasure trove of ideas.
This is really a “happy card”. This card just has to bring a smile on the receiver’s face!! The colors you used for the flowers are perfect and the technique you used for the resist part is brilliant 👍
Cute card and it looks like fun to create. You are so clever Natasha. I bet your students enjoy your projects as much as your own children. Happy Birthday to your daughter and thanks for sharing this awesome technique. 🌷🎂🌷
Hi Tash* So, you are a School Teacher! Lucky pupils! 👍 This card is gorgeous. I am going to make some using the candles I have & my inks & water brush! So pretty! TFS! Another trip down memory lane technique, thank you. Also love that you constantly encourage and remind us to use what we have, plus using odds and ends from around the house. if medals were given for enjoyment, encouragement and versatility, you would certainly be receiving gold. You give this uncertain old soul much to dare to have a go at, thank you many times over. regards from UK 🇬🇧

Hey, Hi Natasha, I have been watching you on You Tube via the TV, so never got to say anything. So am on the computer at the moment , and thought I would just let you know you are now in my "TOP 3" Craft Persons, I LOVE to watch. I have now found the places you order your things from and have bought all the goodies that I know I will like from your ideas. Cannot wait for them to arrive. Will let you know how it goes. You are AWESOME, keep up the great talent........ Cheers Enelym
This is a great technique and beautiful card. I am not surprised you are a school teacher. Your students are very lucky ...I think you would make an amazing teacher. You certainly make the best videos.
Natasha, I really enjoyed watching you make this card. I love the wax resist technique that you used. It's so easy, and it creates a nice look on the card. I enjoy this kind of crafting because I don't need any special tools. No matter what you are making, I always enjoy watching. Thank you!!
Loved it. Takes me back to elementary school art. Why don't we remember to use those simple techniques that make art work so much better and fun. Have we gotten too old and forgotten them. Well maybe in my case, LOL 🤣. Love that you bring them back and remind us that we know more than we think, we just forget and they are still very relevant ideas.
What a cool technique! You make such easy to follow videos that it makes perfect sense that you're a teacher! Love the frugal ways in which you create. Tyfs all the ideas!
This us a Great stamp set and a gorgeous card. I love the technique. I remember a similar one when I was 9-10. We used wax crayons, coloured different leaves in any colour then turned them crayon side down on white paper and ironed all the wax off. Fun and beautiful. This is better; no ironing at all. 💖🇨🇦🥰
Hi. That is such a great idea and I wish my memory was in better shape to recall all the fun and effective things from primary school. Thank goodness we have you to help remind us! You've made such a lovely card, so bright and cheerful. I'm willing to bet that if I have any little candles then I won't be able to find them. Wishing your daughter a very happy birthday and sending you my thanks for a great video.
Thank u Natasha. I have never seen this technique b4. This is so cool. I love how u take every day ordinary items 2 use on your cards. Have a very blessed day.
Stunning card and colours. Have been wanting to say for awhile I so admire that your stamps etc still go back into their packets after constant use - my patience isnt that good getting them back, I resort to other methods of storage. Good lessons to learn thku ☺
Happy birthday to your daughter. Love this card. Have looked for white crayons before, but never thought of a candle. I thoroughly enjoy your videos. Thankyou very much for sharing once again. Take care and stay safe.
I don't know how you do it. Your ideas are always interesting and the cards are beautiful. I think your cards are much more personal that the super-elaborate cards on some other channels. You always inspire me. Thanks!
thank you for demonstrating this technique. i love the way the leaves appear on the flowers. im not very good at arranging the leaves on flowers but very happy how these have turned out.
Happy birthday to your daughter🎂🍨🎁🎀🎊🎉🎈🎈 I remember doing some kind of art work with candles when in elementary school. I just cant remember what it was. love your beautiful card.
I love this card. The designs you made with the candle wax made such fun patterns on the flower petals! I will give this a go! TFS! Now on a serious note; I hope to shout you made your daughter's birthday cake from scratch (lol)! I'm old school (plus I grew up in the old days!) and cookies, cakes, etc. HAD/HAVE to be made from scratch! My dad worked nights as a switchman for the ATSF railroad before he went to the road (rails) when I was nine. My mom would be bored during the long, cold winter evenings (SW Kansas) and we would make cookie dough and cake batter for something to do! Of course, the best part was "sampling" the dough/batter to make sure it was good!!! There usually wasn't even batter to make a cake so we made a few cupcakes and the same for the cookie dough!!! Who says one shouldn't eat raw eggs (lol). By the way, my mom used to make homemade Christmas cards by using the iron to melt crayons/colored candles between wax paper. I always thought they were so BEAUTIFUL!!! Its a fun technique for today's cards/mixed media/crafting! I'll bet you could come up with something extra unique! Holy cow, I haven't sent you a book for ages! You're so lucky (eye roll/lol) hugs!!! gjr
Hi. I knew that there's a way of using wax paper but for the life of me I cannot recall it from my primary school days. Potato printing, yes and I even remember the colours I used, making wax paper using crayons and scratching into it, drawing with wax crayons on paper and using paint over the top of it but I just can't remember what we did with the piece of waxed paper we were given. Maybe I should let myself off the hook for forgetting as it was over half a century ago although it's going to be bugging me for days.....or until I forget what I was trying to remember! 😂
Happiest of birthday wishes for your beautiful little girl!! Her birthday cake is short a candle, lol. What a beautiful card, thanks for bringing back a golden oldie Tash!!❤🦋❤
How fun! It's like magic! I used to love doing projects with preschoolers like this! This card is so vibrant! All of your cards always look so cheerful! Thank you, Natasha!

love this. I did things with wax many many years ago, and forgot all about it. Love the out come of the flowers. love your videos, and you work with what you have. other videos are always using a stamp or die that you have to buy. thanks for sharing all you do. what a wonderful mind you have.
