Thank you for all these tips! I really like that sticky mat for the Misty. Excellent idea! I’ve seen you use your finger for tiny stamps and I have to say, even though I was skeptical, it works!! LOLL I find myself using my finger for tiny stamps all the time now LOL TFS 🥰😍👍👏👏👏
I’ve only be card making for around two years now so I really appreciate your tips and tricks! I really needed the marker with stamping ink in it and the nonstick scissors! Those tips are really going to make my life easier! Thank you so very much!!!! ♥️
Thanks for the great tips. I have used the press and seal before and what a time saver and takes the frustration out. Using finger with a stamp on it... clever and never would of thought of it. Thanks for sharing. And happy crafting.
Great tips, Charlene! Like some of the others, there were a few new tricks I hadn’t heard of before. Thanks! I especially like the sticky magnetic sheets tip. I’ve spend a small fortune of them but I am going to try the product you suggested. 😊

Hi Linda! You might enjoy this video: ua-cam.com/video/QRs4OE1EqPo/v-deo.html If you check the description of that video I list a lot of the items you are asking about. Thanks for watching! 🙂
I do, but I clean my brushes in between uses as I find a clean brush blends the best. If you do not want to clean your brushes every time I recommend having a set for dye inks and a set for oxide/pigment inks. I did it that way for a long time. 🙂
Thank you for sharing these tips for simplifying cardmaking. I particularly find the Press'nSeal idea helpful, especially for small die cuts. I'm going to subscribe and bell your helpful UA-cam site. 🌹🇨🇦🌹
I'd never seen the finger tip stamping, it's sure going to save time and I'm eager to try it! I tried reading all of the comments so I wouldn't repeat anything already said so hopefully these will be new ideas--#1 as to magnetic sheets, I have found the best option--cost wise as well as ability to cut and size them to fit--are magnetic vent covers which you can buy at places like Home Depot, etc. They come 3 to a package and sometimes they go on sale. They're strong, they cut easily so you can trim off a piece that fits any size die set you have, small or large. #2 Next up, if for any reason you've removed your stamped image, removed your stamp from your MISTI too and then discover you need to re-stamp (yep, I did that), I first put my stamped image back into my MISTI, then took a 5x7 rectangle of clear acetate and laid it over my stamped image, then I placed the stamp itself onto the MISTI in where I thought it should go. Then I inked my stamp and stamped--the ink is now on the acetate and I could see I needed to reposition my stamped image. Wiped off the acetate and re-stamped until I got it right. Part of the value in this is that there's no worry that a stamp might still have some ink on it that can transfer to your stamped image and ruining it because it's just stamping on the acetate. By having that acetate be about 5x7, you can use it on just about any size card you're making. Just store it behind the MISTI's black foam piece. #3 I discovered that re-stamping after coloring with colored pencil also makes a striking difference. #4 When you clean stamps with alcohol, I was told that it can dry out the rubber and damage them--not sure if that only applies to red rubber stamps or also to cling stamps. Might be best to use water or baby wipes or stamp cleaning solutions instead of straight alcohol. Here's a link to those magnetic vent cover sheets: www.homedepot.com/p/Frost-King-15-x-8-3-Pk-Magnetic-Vent-Covers-MC815/100345609#overlay Thanks so much for your video, it was very helpful!
I have a Cameo cutting machine so I have used sticky mats which I cut up to use in my card making. Great for lining up punched out letters and sticking them down in the proper position. Lots of uses for that mat which is not sticky enough for your cutting machine any more.
I've been making cards for a few years and didn't realize there are non-stick scissors! I've been under a rock! I've been using regular scissors and using Goo-Be-Gone periodically to get the gunk off. Now I know. 😄 And the right angle line up tip? Fantastic!
