This is great other people have done this but they put black ink on white ca rd stock . This is very time and ink saving . Love it ❤❤❤😊😊😊

Hi Mary, I have make one, on a shimmer cardstock. But the white ink went over the side of the embossed flower. I don’t know how to get it of. 😢.
@@lysianesamy5711 usually a sand eraser will help remove excess ink. Give that a try.

I love the effect. Great job. I use smaller daubers for the little spots. Then I don’t get colour where it doesn’t belong.

Thank you so much for your tips. I never thought of tapping. A white ink on before. I'd been trying to swipe colours over the raised image & was never satisfied with the result. Again with trying to use the finger daubers I got an okay ish result, in that I was happy enough to send it to my friend for her birthday. I'm going to try the white ink too next, & see how I get on xx

Beautiful card fronts! So much cleaner than the currently popular technique of swiping a black ink pad over the card after coloring debossed side.

@@maryscraftstudio tried it yesterday and still playing with it today, LOVE this technique the white first is what I hadn’t tried before and it really makes a difference. I did also add another touch of white after the distress oxide, really highlited the color. Thanks so much!

Hello! Thank you for your kind words. You should be able to use Brilliance ink as it is a pigment ink same as the Unicorn I was using, Thanks so much for watching and commenting.

Hi Cheryl, I let it sit for about half an hour. It really depends on room temperature and humidity. You can dry with a heat gun from the back also if you don’t want to wait, just be careful. Thanks for watching and commenting!

Sorry to hear you’ve been going through some stuff🙁 I will be doing the advent calendars again this year, in fact I just received my Spellbinders yesterday. I didn’t order the stitching one though. Brutus Monroe had one I’m thinking about getting but it’s only 12 days, so I’m still looking Crafters Companion isn’t out yet. Taylored Expressions does one but it’s very pricy.
