This version includes a video with a story that fits the theme of the lyric and haunting melody. Victoria is lovely, and her voice is perfect for the mood. The twist at the end took me by surprise.
Such a beautiful voice....The voice has a clear, beautiful ring to it, not unlike a crystal bell. The video itself was amazing. I too love the middle ages, but the darker, more mysterious parts of them.
This is definitely a "sweeter" version than most on youtube. She has a lovely voice.

Great diction !!! Understood every sung word and note . Your low notes had such depth and yet had good color . Your higher notes were vibrant and had the great support of a well trained artist . The film had all the making of the best traditional and todays perks to keep a viewers interest . i loved the stories twist in plot line where the payoff explodes viewers expectations and rewards us at the same time . Kudos to you and the other artists who created this music and film .

The Behind the Scenes video at metromediaworldwide site is very interesting, and I must say that both Viktoria and the young man who played the Dark Lover are MUCH more attractive when they're being themselves rather than the characters! He has a gorgeous smile, and so does she.
Eleven year old soprano Jackie Evancho performs this on PBS Great Performances with great results. So nice to hear it done a little differently.

Well, we're all entitled to like what we like, for goodness' sake! So far I like them all. Jackie's voice is the purest, her high notes are like a needle full of an addictive drug: so silvery-sweet it almost hurts. Hayley's enunciation is perhaps clearest, although Viktoria makes the lyrics easily understandable too. Her high notes are also very sweet and pure, and I LOVE this video; the ending was a surprise to me, although not at all an illogical conclusion.
Wow, the sound design in the start of this video is very nice. I like the visuals, very interesting photography. Its an opera. Song and voice is excellent. Thanks Viktoria!

Wow...without giving away spoilers for this video I have to say that I did not expect that ending---what a twist! I absolutely love the opening of this video, completely sets the mood. It is indeed a dark waltz and the atmosphere captures it perfectly.
And what a lovely voice!! Coming from someone who is selective about singing I want to tell you that you did a gorgeous job!

All the versions of this song I've heard are exquisite. The voices are beautiful, the notes are clear and accurate. Amazingly lovely. But no one seems to turn the vowel on "I'll keep you company..." Everyone pronounces it *"Ah'll* keep you company." It's a minor thing, but a little like a tiny splinter under the skin: once you notice it, it bothers you every time you encounter it.
