    My Buck Mark "Camper" is a couple months old now. At first, it was a little picky on ammo. I noticed after a 230 round break-in period & a couple good cleanings, it has become a flawless shooter. I don't fool around with subsonic ammo, I stay with 1,000 fps & above to ensure the gun cycles properly & have had zero gun related issues since. My Buck Mark is a serious "tack driver," extremely accurate, I absolutely love it! I added factory Browning fiber optic front sight & TANDEMKROSS bumper pads on the magazines. It's a keeper, I'll never sell it.

    I agree it’s not a 10 mm but that said I have no problem using a Buckmarck for home defense or self defense. With good ammo(CCI) it runs flawlessly and it’s extremely accurate. 22lr to any part of the body will cause extreme pain even if it doesn’t kill right away

    The reason bulk 22 ammo has "dud" problems is because the primer compound is a gel. When not stored vertically and flat the gel runs to the lowest point. Youll notice that if you pull the dud rotate it and rechamber itll fire. This is why you rarely have this problem with CCI. Look at how they're stacked in the box. If you store the box on its side you'll experience the same problem with CCI ammo.

    Love this 22LR. Unfortunately, mine only came with 1 mag in the box. But no shooting issues, yet.

    No need to take it all apart to clean it. You have both sides open it'll clean up nice with a toothbrush.
    I really like these because you can change barrels, top em with different rails. If you fell you need to take the barrel off it's a snap to do that, but not at all necessary

  • @lukesmith981
    @lukesmith981 3 роки тому +6

    Before you use these Browning’s clean the barrel. They put a special anti-corrosion gummy coating in it. So clean it. It’s not the ammo it’s the coating in the barrel.

    For guns that are a pain in the ass to clean, I have used a product called gun scrubber, that comes in a spray can with a tube, like wd40 and lets you blast out the gunk without taking the gun apart

    I have to Browning buckmarks and the buckmark rifle. none of mine has ever had an issue. That being said i tend to run decent ammo and they are a few years older. I am thinking of the Ruger mark 4 with bull barrel although thats just for fun, i am satisfied with my brownings.

      @rifleman17hmrshooter I bought mine to teach my daughter to shoot way back when she was 12 ish. Now she is 31. So that was a while ago. I guess nobody wanted them then. For fun I tricked it out with a huge power scope. Folks at range thought it was a james bond rifle

    I've got a question. Wondering if you might be able to help. I'm in California. I know I know... ha. But I have a buck mark, 5.5 barrel. I have been looking at getting a 4 inch bull barrel to swap but cannot find anywhere that says I can or can't legally in CA. I see the bull barrel models for sale on gun store websites but they aren't CA legal. The only model with a 4 inch barrel that is CA legal is square. Any idea where I might be able to get info? Thanks.
