      that would've .086 avg. Also from Wikipedia Antonelli was called up to the Padres on September 1, 2008, where he promptly laced a single off Greg Maddux of the Dodgers for his first hit in the major leagues. He then went hitless in his next 20 at bats, but then got 7 hits in his next 13 at-bats with 3 walks, including his first home run, on September 15, off of Colorado Rockies pitcher Jason Hirsh. He was unable to earn another big league promotion with the club and granted free agency at the end of the 2010 season.

    HOWEVER, we shall remind ourselves that we could fit in a small AA stadium all humans (7947 in totals) that have ever hit at least one regular-season homer in The Show.

    I feel like if you had been in the Padres system around 2015-2016, you would’ve had more chances to play and would’ve had a longer leash. Bummed you didn’t get another chance after your stint in 2008. Nice homer tho! Thanks for sharing

    When the announcer said you haven't been very good with the bat, I thought 'That's kind of rude'. Sometimes the truth stings a bit, but you just hit a HR and were working on your mechanics so it's understandable you struggled a little. I'll bet it felt real good to hit that and see some progress with the change in the swing, though. Love the videos and I hope the ball finds it way back to you someday.

  • @thedude7980
    @thedude7980 5 років тому

    Coming into the game you were 6-30 (.200 avg) with 1 double, 1 RBI, 2 runs scored and 4 strike outs and 2 walks. You had an infield single in the 2nd inning to get to 7-31 (.226 avg). Your HR in the 3rd inning put you at 8-32 (.250). Ground out to 3rd in 5th, walk in 7th, and strikeout in the 8th left your avg at 8-34 (.235 avg) to end the game. Unfortunately, that 14 inning game against the Nationals 3 days later and going 1 for 8 was an avg killer.
