Thanks my friend for watching

Thanks for watching just trying Different things
Plastic oil pans always end up leaking and needing replaced. Ask ford on the 2.7 ecoboost
How right you are I've replaced a few of them thanks for watching my friend
For the 2024 models they switched to metal oil pans with a metal drain plug
They needed to
@@raygregoryride Could've been worse, Could've been single use like the ecoboost's in the explorer's and other ford's.
Do you fill the new oil filter up with new oil before it gets screwed on ?
I do about halfway
Just saw this Ray. Been working all day. Excited to watch. 😊
That okay my friend hope you have a great evening
It ain’t a UA-cam video.till you’re having camera issues. Plastic oil pan. I don’t know about all that. I love old vehicles like grandpa had.
Me to my friend for sure
Good job
Great job , Everything is plastic now
Thanks man
does anyone know what the thread is on the bolt , I ordered a valvomax and they sent me the wrong one and they have no idea what it is
I'm not sure on a metal PAN, but that plastic PAN it just push in and turn a Quarter of a turn.
Good thing u had safely glasses on
i honestly would get the metal pan and swap that out , I think that was a temporary pan in my opinion
I agree with you 100%. That was kind of a Mickey Mouse set up
I have the 2021 GMC Canyon V-6 all metal pan and plug, But the oil Filter is on top of the motor and it’s all plastic and a bad design
Yes it is you think they could have done a better job
Is that a plastic oil pan too?
Yes it is
@@raygregoryride I just bought a new 2023 Elevation and now I know why they discounted $9500. Love the truck though.
I have all plastic oil pans. Ya maybe Grampa had metal lol.
I've seen some interesting drain plugs before, but never seen a plastic snap in place one like that. I wish I had a mechanic like you around here. It is hard to find a good mechanic that ya can trust.
Would not really, never had to have One 😊
Hmmmm, plastic oil pan.
Hey viper 😊
@@MotoBaumVirginia hey bro 👍
No way plastic oil plug and pan, I'm sure that plastic is going to heat up or catch a rock on road. Wow engineers are going cheap on things
@@ritzoner11 yeah, pretty cheap.
