Ralos' Rise in Varlamore - New AFK Prayer + Mining Method [OSRS]

- Ralos' Rise gives a great way of getting prayer experience in a very afk way, along with the new Calcified Rocks that will allow you to get a good chunk of Mining as you collect shards. You can use any bones, including the new Sun-kissed bones from Perilous Moons!
XP rates per bone:
Gilded Altar: 350%
Wildy Altar: 700%
Ectofuntus: 400%
Ralos' Rise with Wine: 403%
Ralos' Rise with Sunfire Wine: 483%

Can you use any bones at all? Like sup drag bones?
@@calvinengle2020 You can use most bones. Higher level bones give more bone shards. For example, I tried a superior dragon bone and it gives 121 shards per bone. Which translates to 605 prayer experience per bone. I don't recall what wyvern bones give exactly, but it is around 50 bone shards each.
I would also add if you want this method to be the most afk, don't bother with the waterfall rocks, just mine the standard rocks. The waterfall rocks may be 15% faster but the deposit goes a lot faster, i can afk for up to 3mins on the normal rocks, about 30 seconds on waterfall rocks. I have mined over 35k shards, gone from 54 mining to 70. prayer xp was 210k, very good, even more so as an iron, plus tp from the moth. A dragon pick is recommended too. A few extra points, zealot robes work for this prayer method to save your fragments and adding sunlight shards to the wine will provide an extra 20% bonus xp

the blessed wine prayer xp is insane. I've done 30 lunar chests and gotten almost 100k prayer xp from the shards and wyrmling bones into shards.
The wyrmling bones feel pretty weak when you first get them, but they actually convert to 600% of their base bury value when you use blessed sunfire wine. It's sooo sick and tons of prayer xp from the moons

Mining veins with waterfalls boosts your success rate by 15%.
A really nice method for UIM. Stackable mining and prayer exp is really good. I’ll go to 72 mining and see how much prayer I get by the end.

I've been doing this for about 15-20 hours so far on my ironman. Another thing to note is that you can buy jugs of wine from the bartender inside the Cam Torum for 1 GP each. He sells 1 but it's infinite so you can change your left click to buy 10 at a time and fill up, run to bank, and then run back to buy a full inventory.
As an ironman, I love bone shard training. Feels great and there's a way to collect shards afk
As an iron, this is fucking awesome. One of my last grinds too!
You didn't mention exp/hr at all (getting 13k pray exp/hr from mining, but doesn't add in time to use to get the actual exp) which I think is more important than when making a decision to use this method.
Xp rates are a bit deceptive with Prayer as the overwhelming amount of time is spent collecting the bones, and using better bones also gives drastically better rates of xp. This is even more true for bone shards as there's just so many different ways of getting them that tracking all the rates would be a bit tricky.
Processing the Bone shards was giving me well over a million/hr though, some of that time spent chiseling down bones as well, so it is a fast method comparable to ectofuntus but a bit more chill imo to actually make all the materials.
You could use windows mousekeys to speed up the chisseling a lot, like how people fletch darts quickly
I think what's nice with this method is that if you're not planning to do Wildy altar, you can just chisel all the bones and saves the bank slot
This has to be one of the best update for UIM's. They had nearly no way in gaining much XP and now that there's a constant method for them, even if it's as low as 10k an hour, it's honestly still better than these other options.
Totally agree. There should be inexpensive or easy to attain, very low xp/hr options for all skills. Up next hopefully should be construction.

Should mention that you can add sunfire splinters to the wine (Jug of blessed sunfire wine) for even more prayer xp.

Yea, I recommend the zealot outfit with a few graceful pieces for running back and forth.

Just bones (can't do Sun kissed bones, but those don't have to be blessed). So unfortunately you can't bring your full stack of wines there, you will have to bank every now and then.

Cool a way i can train pray on my ultimate. I was killing blue dragons then going to port phasmatys, grinding them, buying slime and then worship....
Why not kill red dragons in the forthos dungeon? Its also crafting xp and you can keep prayers up
@@TW-fs3fj i dont have the crafting level, im only like 56. I can also easily safespot/afk in that soulwars dungeon.
@@b1O15 rip, well I recommend it big time. You can safespot the red dragons there. I enjoy how passive it is. Plus they drop grubby keys for pots and regen
@TW-fs3fj yeah I did that during trailblazer. Make sure you take nature runes and heaps of thread and needles and craft items to alc to pay the tanner. Easy to safe spot, great for training ranged or mage up.

How many bone shards per wine?
Every wine is good for 400 bone shards! it will automatically fill the bowl back up so a full inventory of wines can be good for like 11k shards

Mining gives you bone shards which you have to turn in to get the prayer xp. No prayer xp from the mining itself.
Yep, it does not give prayer xp just for mining, just shards! You have to go and turn in the shards.

I just TP to a bank, and then Fortis teleport -> Bird back there. I think it's a bit faster than finding the closest bank.

You can also buy some (unlimited supply) in Cam Torum! A bit of a walk but it's super worth it and you don't have to worry about it until you get a massive collection of bone shards. Huge for UIM!
