did this like 20 times already and failed all, i cant believe i cant manage to do such well explained and simple stuff xD i cant get in time to fish and cook the fish before all the things happen, and then later all attacks come in again xD
Edit: This is usually due to lag or having a lower end fishing level. I only get these kind of runs on Runelite. Edit 2: Pinned so others can find this info easily if they are struggling as well. I experience this on mobile a lot, so try this change. Start of game, fish a full inventory of 19 using the double spot when it comes before cooking. Then only cook 16 still, I end up running to the boat barely missing being hit by the fires. Load 15 fish, save 1. Another colossal wave should come, now load the 16th fish. The wave will clear the fires. Now temp is 10%, so run back down and fish another 16 for another full inventory. Cook them once full. At 90%storm intensity, run to the boat to load the cooked fish you have, keep the uncooked. Go fish the whirlpool until Tempoross had 60-65% health. Use the remaining time he's underwater to finish cooking. Load them once their done to finish his energy back down to 10%, avoiding a wave again and maybe fires you can now put out. Then simply use the remaining time of round 2 to fish and cook another full inventory. This should catch you back up, but if not, again 90% energy, load cooked fish, fish Tempoross down to ~20-30% health, use his remaining submerge time to fish, load when done, drop buckets, fill inv and have at minimum 3 cooked fish to down him a final time, run to boat and load at 90% energy, fish the whirlpool and end him. Hope this helps/is clear enough. If not, feel free to add me in game and we can talk.

Everything in this guide is great, one extra thing I found helpful is for the final damage phase where you drop buckets, load both cannons equally. That way if you miss the damage check, the cannons will burst temp down for an extra 4th dmg phase.

Agreed. Can't go back to mass worlds. I mainly play on mobile so can confirm this works there, just usually ran a bit behind this guide (sometimes having to fish/cook some of the 19 fish at the beginning of round 2), but there's enough time in the second round to catch up. Shouldn't be a problem!
"solos are much more enjoyable just like not have friends or a gf is more enjoyable" Yeah mate go sweat out solos in a social minigame instead of afking standard fishing for better xp rates. Extreme nerds with tiny brains only in runescape

Great Guide! The trickiest part is the first phase, as depending on RNG (fire coming early and getting in your way, a second wave occurring, bad luck on the 2x fishing spots, etc), you might not be able to get 2 full inventories of cooked fish. The run is still recoverable though. Once storm intensity reaches 90%, stop what you are doing and load all of the cooked fish you have into the cannon. Then damage Tempoross ~35-40%. After that, cook the remaining fish you have and load them into the cannon to get Tempoross back to 10% ASAP. Then you can fish and cook a full inventory as per normal. If you are getting overwhelmed on your first inventory of fish, you can stop fishing a little early (leave the last 3 inventory slots) as the important thing is to get Tempoross to 10%.
really helpful guide, makes the method a lot more clear! something i have found doing this is that, depending on damage variance and how many extra inventory spots you have, you can sometimes wind up not quite finishing ross off on wave 3 and then hitting the enrage. but you can insure yourself against that by loading both cannons with half your fish on the last wave, so they'll be able to get ross down again before the storm wipes you and you can finish it off
Love to see further learning! That's exactly my goal, to just get people into the content and find further tips/tricks themselves. The 4 down strategy makes the method Entirely Guaranteed and is normally how I play games anyway for that little bump up in the chance for 10-11 points.
my group used to do duos/ trios. that will no longer be the case unless its to cure the staying awake problem. great vid! if you came up with this very well done.
I adjusted the wiki strat for myself, then took out the upgrades (anglers, harpoon, hammer, etc.) so anyone can see it and adapt it to their own styles as well. Myself, I have 4 ways to play Temp solo that are adjustments from this basically lol.
The deliberate and clear way you explained everything was VITAL. Maybe one of the best guides I've ever used. Got it down second try. I did 100kc on mass worlds getting 5 permits per 6min, so 10 per 9min is a huge upgrade. Thanks a lot. Edit: Got barrel on my third solo woo. Big Harpoonfish an hour later and already have tacklebox. anyway ty changed my life
I knew that he would stop attacking at 10% but I thought they'd changed it so that he'd start again after a min or two. You actually get slightly more points here than I usually do without good fire RNG and you're taking the RNG out of it. Good stuff! Really thought I had this boss down after 20 hours of soloing.
In case it would be useful for anyone else (I like to be able to follow steps as I learn these) I typed out a basic step by step following this! Let me know if I typed something wrong or missed something, like I said it is condensed. Needed items: Harpoon Hammer Rope 6 buckets Steps - Board ship and turn camera north - Spam click on NE of mini map - Fish until you have 8 caught - Cook all 8 fish - Fill inventory @ Double spot - Cook when full *** NOTE *** At 15% a tidal wave comes in - Continue cooking - Stop at first bucket (15) cooked - Load up cooked fish to cannons - Put out spawned fires - Go to fishing spot (always x2) - cook between x2 spawns - once all is cooked (or when 90%) fill cannons - Attack pool - Go back to fishing till full - cook full inventory - fill cannons with fish (all) - attack pool (Drop buckets on way) - fish full inventory - Cook full inventory - load cannons with all fish - attack pool till complete - Reset by grabbing/filling buckets and repeat!
I like it. Pretty much exactly how I had mine! Only extra note I had is the clouds for fires will roll in at ~30% intensity, and the first cannon load for 10% is 16 fish.
what happens at 90% if you dont have a full invent? loading cannon with what i had doesnt get tempoross down to 10 meaning this method only works sometimes
your golike out of all the 50 guides i watched your was 1st try victory verry cool guide man exactly what we need without bs i managed to score a couple 9 and 10 points game in a row with a few a few fails if i mess up the fires at the start but i am UIM and have less inventory space but i made it work thank you so much !!! i cant do masses annymore so bad
Thank you for the support! I've realized simplification is a strong suit of mine and a lot of guides I find myself have a lot more info than is really needed and can be overwhelming.
This is an excellent Solo Guide. I personally wouldn’t bother dropping buckets on the last round so I won’t have to replace them next game. Great work though!
Thank you! From running numbers, dropping seems to boil down to personal preference mostly. Roughly the same rates per hour each way, I just preferred this way myself to have a better chance at the 10 points over 9.
I have lower agility/fishing/cooking level, your guide was so good and helped me to start solo temporos As low level noob had to take 1 hammer, 1 rope, 1 harpoon, 5 buckets Round one caught 20 fish => cooked 20 fish => fired 16 fish (reach 10%) then fished 16 and fired 16 raw + 4 cooked if fail catch only 12 raw Round two caught 20 fish => cooked 20 fish => fired 20 cooked fish Round three caught 20 fish => cooked 20 fish => fired 20 cooked fish While doing the tactic had to douse fire, average 8 permit/run
Glad you adapted it! Learned afterwards lower levels do effect catch rate (thus, pinned comment). Still not sure when the catch rate is no longer decreased lol.
Barbarian fishing and Imcando hammer with full Spirit Anglers means you only need to bring buckets. I've done ~8000 tempoross, and only ever solo, your method is pretty similar to mine, it's a pretty relaxing boss, and the spirit flakes are phenomenal for double catches.
Agreed! We probably run the same games tbh, but I aim for my guides to be accessible for anyone, so I assume no experience or any related gear. Or at least as minimal as possible to be doing the content.
@@rjoreis Same on the never lucky, bit at least we are the karmic balance to those who get spoons. Someone has to take them for the team! (Gotta see it in a positive way somehow)
Good guide! It may be worth pointing out why tempoross hits exactly 10% after phase one with this method. 16 fish take tempoross to 10%, 18 to 0. When you load up the cannon the second time you are putting 19 fish in, two take it down to 0, one gets fired but does no damage and 16 gets stored for phase 2. If you don't manage to fish enough in round 1 these totals should help salvage the run in phase two.
I swap regular harpoon for dragon (ironman) and have divine pouch for humidify, saves time with buckets. Also Set take x buckets to 6 for left click or swap left click to take 5 + bring extra random item (like arrows which you can equip/unequip.
I've been using this method for basically all my solos - now when 1k+ points was claimed for a bingo we had in clan I got the Tiny Tempor :') - so thank you!
Worked (nearly) flawlessly at 69 fishing for me. First run I got unlucky and fires spread to 7 total so I had to refill a bucket to put them all out - put me too far behind on time and I got out of sync. I then wasted too much time in the final phase and Temp survived on 1% lol. 2nd attempt worked perfectly, easy game, completed both the big Temp achievements and unlocked my Ghommal's hilt 2. Time to grind Barrows now 😎 Thanks so much for the strat and clear presentation!!
Thanks! I initially had how to get there in, but felt it was too much bloat in the beginning and figured it'd be a good way do indirectly get newer people in the direction of the Wiki, since it's such a strong tool. Temp is easy enough. Lumbridge > Al Kharid > ferry boat south of Al Kharid bank.
Thanks for the great guide, I was getting so frustrated when the mass world would lose game after game, so this should really help me out for the pet grind. As an aside, is there a reason you don't bother putting out all the fires on the other side of the island? Are the points not worth the time spent? I guess the fact that putting out fires doesn't give fishing exp is also a factor worth considering. Anyways, I'd love to hear your thoughts on it. Thanks again for the clear and concise guide!
I tend to do basic example for a guide to simply get people into the content, so I didn't bring up the 4 down method or the firefighter method. I tend to usually ignore the fires myself cause I'm "lazy" and am fine just doing plain solos. Firefighter is more points for a bit less xp, so when I hunt the pet I'll be doing that. My Tempoross Methods Ranked video explores the main ways to fight him and has less in depth examples of the runs.
petition to change title from practically to definitely guaranteed if you just follow this step to step. 5 times, not a single fail, all success with 10 permits each. TY beast
@@nayronics Would like to see them too! Though I had much success the second and third run. Third run gave me my first 10 pointer for the combat task. :D
Learned a valuable lesson when trying to squeeze out a couple more points: DO NOT MESS WITH SOUTH SIDE FIRE. They will mess you up for going on the wrong turf. D:
@@nayronics Lol my main has half the skilling pets and my iron has nothing, didn't even get Tome from 99 at Wintertodt, but got everything on main at 90. Hopefully Tempoross will be different lmao
On the last wave when tempoross is 10% health. You can fill both cannons with a minimum of 14 fish, so 28 total. And you will kill him before he fully enrages for max points! I average 9.5k points on solo with this extra step. 10k PB
For extra efficiency, you can keep your buckets at the end of the game without dropping them, once tempoross is dead you can 1 click run to fill the buckets up at the end of the game so you avoid having to fill them up and forfeit 1 game prior to playing. This will just result in 9 permits consistently instead of 10 but the games are shorter to compensate
Correct. It makes a run about 15-20 seconds shorter, resulting in being able to fit in another ~1/2 run an hour. I just personally found dropping to be better xp and the higher chance at the 10 points felt like I got 10 point games more often (scales between guaranteed number, like WT). Quick mental math, it seems both ways should ultimately be about the same rates, so it's personal preference to drop or not. Neat! Learn something new every day.
wiki suggests stopping at 8 fish to cook if you're under 85 fishing, should have mentioned at 85+ fishing, you can just keep fishing until full inventory and cook all at once
True. I've honestly done both ways myself even at lower levels just depending on how I'd feel that day. Can't say I noticed much of a difference. The 8 fish thing is mostly just to sync up to the double fish pools in my experince.. But now it's mentioned in the comments, thank you.
@@nayronics especially if using infernal harpoon since it can basically have a chance to cook the 7-8 fish while fishing the inv, but thanks for the guide it works pretty good and was recommended to me by a clan mate

Best guide I've watched, avoided doing tempross before watching this now I've been on it all day, cheers :)
Welcome to the pool. Gl on one of the best pets!
Thanks for the nice summary! Happy to know you thought it was a good guide!
Chill and to the point. Makes me look forward to the D Harpoon grind for my iron- thanks G
It's my style. Glad to provide!
really helpful guide, makes the method a lot more clear! something i have found doing this is that, depending on damage variance and how many extra inventory spots you have, you can sometimes wind up not quite finishing ross off on wave 3 and then hitting the enrage. but you can insure yourself against that by loading both cannons with half your fish on the last wave, so they'll be able to get ross down again before the storm wipes you and you can finish it off
Love to see further learning!
Big Harpoonfish an hour later and already have tacklebox. anyway ty changed my life
Glad to help, and gzz on the solos!
The compliments you are getting are definitely not exaggerated.
You got my sub.
Thanks! I'm still in shock lol
Glad I could help ya out some!
In case it would be useful for anyone else (I like to be able to follow steps as I learn these) I typed out a basic step by step following this! Let me know if I typed something wrong or missed something, like I said it is condensed.
Needed items:
Harpoon
Hammer
Rope
6 buckets
Steps
- Board ship and turn camera north
- Spam click on NE of mini map
- Fish until you have 8 caught
- Cook all 8 fish
- Fill inventory @ Double spot
- Cook when full
*** NOTE ***
At 15% a tidal wave comes in
- Continue cooking
- Stop at first bucket (15) cooked
- Load up cooked fish to cannons
- Put out spawned fires
- Go to fishing spot (always x2)
- cook between x2 spawns
- once all is cooked (or when 90%) fill cannons
- Attack pool
- Go back to fishing till full
- cook full inventory
- fill cannons with fish (all)
- attack pool (Drop buckets on way)
- fish full inventory
- Cook full inventory
- load cannons with all fish
- attack pool till complete
- Reset by grabbing/filling buckets and repeat!
I like it. Pretty much exactly how I had mine!
Only extra note I had is the clouds for fires will roll in at ~30% intensity, and the first cannon load for 10% is 16 fish.
what happens at 90% if you dont have a full invent? loading cannon with what i had doesnt get tempoross down to 10 meaning this method only works sometimes
its because its 16 not 15@@TierLust
Best guide i've seen. Straight to the point!
Thanks! The goal was to not overload with information in the beginning and just explain what's necessary as it is needed!
amazing guide, i got the tackle box, full spirit angler outfit and the barrel following this guide, thank you so much!!
Happy to provide.
Gzzz on the drops! Gl on the pet if you go for it!
your golike out of all the 50 guides i watched your was 1st try victory verry cool guide man exactly what we need without bs i managed to score a couple 9 and 10 points game in a row with a few a few fails if i mess up the fires at the start but i am UIM and have less inventory space but i made it work thank you so much !!! i cant do masses annymore so bad
Gzzz! Glad yo hear you could successfully adapt as a UIM. Welcome to the real fishing boss!
You've had a few bangers come out recently. Keep up the practically guaranteed series, it'll go places.
Thank you for the support! I've realized simplification is a strong suit of mine and a lot of guides I find myself have a lot more info than is really needed and can be overwhelming.
@Nayronics just remember me when you're famous 🤧
Edit: obviously earned my sub (:
Amazing guide! Can't wait for the next guide to come out
Appreciate the comment, they help keep me motivated lol. What would you want to see covered?
Awh man this is great was struggling to get 5 points in mass worlds. Great guide :D
Thanks! I can't go back to mass Temp anymore lol. Love being able to pay half as much attention!
Did 50 runs with this method and got all the collection logs except pet. Thanks so much for this dude!
Glad to help! I'm also still missing the pet, so gl if you go for it!
insanely helpful! great video. a barrows guide in the future would be nice
Thank you! Barrows has been added to the list.
thanks man :) i did it with you and just paused everytime you finished cooking all the fish to stay on track, now I can get my stupid hilt for barrows
Glad it was helpful!
amazing. So glad I decided to watch, I thought I had solo tempoross figured out but this is way better!
And you can use this as a starting point! I have about 4 variations of this run, depending on how much attention I want to use when fighting him.
This was a really amazing video!!! Thank you so much for the time you put into making this for us
My pleasure!
I have lower agility/fishing/cooking level, your guide was so good and helped me to start solo temporos
As low level noob had to take 1 hammer, 1 rope, 1 harpoon, 5 buckets
Round one caught 20 fish => cooked 20 fish => fired 16 fish (reach 10%) then fished 16 and fired 16 raw + 4 cooked if fail catch only 12 raw
Round two caught 20 fish => cooked 20 fish => fired 20 cooked fish
Round three caught 20 fish => cooked 20 fish => fired 20 cooked fish
While doing the tactic had to douse fire, average 8 permit/run
Awesome tutorial. Did it on my first attempt. Much better when compared to crowded worlds. Thank you very much!
Happy to help! Welcome to the true fishing boss!
@@nayronics Unfortunately I am still searching for the barrel... Reached 200 Tempoross kills last night. Never lucky baby rage :)

Happy to help!
You’re an absolute legend and I’m now a subsciber.
Thank you and thank you!
Thank you! This guide is exactly what I needed
More than happy to share!
Glad to be of service! It's nice the harpoonfish always deal the same amount of damage go it just becomes a numbers game.
Thank you for the information. Liked and subscribed. Going to check more of your videos, hopefully you have a solo wt guide for max points.
Always appreciated! Happy to share!
Hey great guide man! I’ll definitely use this next run

Thanks for the response! More should come!

I swap regular harpoon for dragon (ironman) and have divine pouch for humidify, saves time with buckets. Also Set take x buckets to 6 for left click or swap left click to take 5 + bring extra random item (like arrows which you can equip/unequip.
Not bad tips. Thanks for sharing!
straight to the point no messing around thanks bro

GG! Such a chill boss without his attacks.
Dude this guide is perfect. Imma send some solo tempy soon.
Enjoy! It's a chill rhythm once it sets in. Watched some Geilinor Games while I recorded it!
5:51 This is fine.
Great guide!
The image I always think of.
Thanks!
Time to grind Barrows now 😎
Thanks so much for the strat and clear presentation!!
Gzz on the accomplishment! Glad to make it simple and clean for ya.
Good luck on the barrows drops!
Really good guide, I’ll look up how to get there, as I even lack that information. Other than that perfect guide.
@@nayronics yeah no big deal I always search wiki anyways so it was fairly easy to get there. Great guide either way. 10/10
Fish barrel on the first time I swapped from masses to this solo guide bless man
Gzzz on the good luck! Glad to know my dry streaks balance out :)
Best guide I’ve seen! Clear and concise
Volcanic mine or other mini games next?

Thanks for the support! I'll be looking into something proper for Volcanic Mine soon, speaking of mining.
This guide is solid brother.
That was the goal! Thanks!
petition to change title from practically to definitely guaranteed if you just follow this step to step. 5 times, not a single fail, all success with 10 permits each. TY beast
Wish I could title it that way! Some still struggle for various reasons, but that's why I hang out in the comments to help.
FIrst run was a failure, but that was all in due to my own error. It's uncanny how good this guide is for tempy
Thanks! Still debating doing a vid to show my other ways to solo...?
@@nayronics Would like to see them too! Though I had much success the second and third run. Third run gave me my first 10 pointer for the combat task. :D

DO NOT MESS WITH SOUTH SIDE FIRE. They will mess you up for going on the wrong turf. D:
Awesome guide. This is so much better than massing
You're welcome!
Thanks for this, I plan on coming here with my ironman for the fish barrel for karambwans and this makes it way easier.

Havent done much tempoross but if i ever go back im definitely using your method

@@nayronics im 99 fishing, I just dont have lil tempy yet just the heron
First guide that worked for me. Tyvm ser
Happy to provide!
On the last wave when tempoross is 10% health. You can fill both cannons with a minimum of 14 fish, so 28 total. And you will kill him before he fully enrages for max points! I average 9.5k points on solo with this extra step. 10k PB
Correct, as only using 1 cannon won't down him in time. I have like 4 ways to fight this boss, depending on the mood lol.
Perfect video, I enjoy Tempoross, but as an Ironman I despise other people. This worked great.
Lol. Glad it was useful!
Awesome vid! Would like to see a tithe farm guide!
Never thought to cover Tithe Farm. Thanks for the suggestion!
Absolutely amazing cant wait to knock out the combat diary with this
Thanks! It shouldn't be a hassle at all! This alone should get you Lone Angler and Why Cook I believe.
Been putting it off, I'm going to hop straight into it solo now thanks
Happy to be helpful!
Insane guide, perfect explanation.
Thanks! That was the goal!
Thank you , a quick simple run that doesnt need a dragon harpoon and other higher lvl gear
It's what I try to do. Happy to oblige!
Wtf absolute gigachad method. I followed some older guide but getting him to 10% like that is genius. I'd love a guide for the RC minigame that is semi-recent. If you've figured how to minmax that like this one.
Thank you! Guardians of the Rift is nearly to the point of a guide like this. Only 1 or 2 more issues to solve, mostly to buffer the rng of which portals to the rc altars spawn.
