In todays old school runescape osrs video im showing you the best guide on the best ways to afk every skill in the game in 2024 to achieve your max cape you've always wanted. These methods are very easy and a lot of them make money and have low or no requirements, these methods are main, ironman, hardcore and UIM friendly!

update for anyone doing prayer - dont use workless's house now (the house this guy used). He hasn't actually been in his house for a few months and there's no one lighting incenses. Just a line of bots wasting their bones LOL

just a few other ideas for afk training I didn't see mentioned in the video!
HUNTER: after monkey madness 2 you can catch maniacal monkeys in the crashed airship with bananas- it's up to a minute afk at a time with no running, if you bring baskets of bananas you barely have to bank, and you typically break even going to 99 since there's a chance of getting a monkey tail drop.
CRAFTING: blowing glass is slower than the methods in this video, but 3-4x more afk and if you check the wiki prices you can typically break even.
SLAYER: if you have the money, investing in a venator bow is SOO helpful for making boring tasks afk, and it pays for itself against most monsters after 75 slayer.
THIEVING: using the inventory viewer runelite plugin allows you to see how many coin pouches you have whilst still clicking on the knight, so lining them all up with a hotkey allows you to train without ever having to move your mouse at all.
HERBLORE: making tar is significantly more afk than potionmaking, and is often a similar gp/exp cost.

For WC, yews in priff are actually. Right next to a bank, plus you get crystal shards and forestry events. Better than WC guild imo since you’ll always have a shorter run to the bank unless you finish on those first two trees, plus everything else. I know you get those boost in the guild, but dragon axe spec + preserve (alter fairly close by and it drains prayer so slowly) is already a constant boost
Crafting - blow glass.
Herblore- swamp Tar.
Shocked you missed these. So much more afk than your suggested methods, and blowing glass is break even or slightly profitable.
As I said these are my favourite methods, when the xp is high enough I'm happy to sacrifice some afk for it!
Blowing staff orbs is profitable but sacrifice xp.
Marrentil tar is great but price went up since people started knowing about it.
I like to cut mahogany and then use plank make to train both WC and magic plus make cash.
For fishing and even cooking extra xp sacred eels are pretty afk but then agility and strenght xp from barb fishing is not gotten.
For smithing old school cannon balls or mithril darts are good.
Squirking offers a different kind of afk with mass worlds it can be great for thieving.
Mining both amethyst and mlm are somehow afk but I think indeed shooting stars beats them.
Hunter I would wait for the update they plan on making this year, Bird house are just GOAT for making money and time investment so far plus they are the definition of afk just like farming is.
Slayer you can afk for 10 minutes with prayer boosting gear and the correct prayer with aggressive mobs.
@@jeanbob1481is squirking mass worlds still a thing? I went on the official worlds like a week ago and saw literally no one. It might not have been peak times, but I was still surprised to not see anyone.
so... this is honestly some janitor level shit, but its worth bringing up to help others. if you want a visual representation for clarity i think there might be a few somewhere on youtube, i remember seeing a "guide or tutorial" years ago. When runecrafting in zeah and chipping essence blocks into fragments or when fletching darts you can click one of the items (either a block/the chisel or the dart tips/feathers) to highlight it then you click the other item normally, before you move the mouse and click on the first item again really fast, just click on the second item a second time and use it as the first item in the next action cycle. by doing so you minimize mouse movement and wrist/arm fatigue while maximizing the amount of actions possible in a tick, at 20:40 and 21:55 you can see how much mouse movement there is.
i'll put it simpler:
rather than click one, click the other, then go back to first, restart.
do it as this: pre-emptively click one of the items, then double click the other item, then come back to the first item and double click that one, then double click the other item over and over.
it makes more actions per hour, less effort/risk of getting it wrong and makes it easier as it's 2 actions in your mind combined into one, and then it's just alternate over and over.
1 click summer garden for thieving. Find an empty world, get the runelite plugin. 140k experience an hour. 40ish seconds of afk time per click.

@@jacobdelacruz9139its been a while but i believe its essentially clicking the destination and letting autopathing do its thing to get you there and the addon for timing.

1tick cooking karambwans becomes much chiller in resisable mode as you can get the furnace nicely next to the bottom of your invent minimising mouse movement.
Just got back into it after years of not playing. Going for a quest cape and my fire cape.
For firemaking, I like to note my logs at ge and stand at the spot where you can diagonal click the banker and just stand there use noteon banker, 1, click fire, 1 repeat

Edgeville is also a good spot to smith/craft. zoom out and you can reach the furnace from the NE bank stall

fossil island trees > all other trees in xp per click and gp spent per click, so i recomend making those your priority over anything else, its how i got 99 and was super chill
I did mahoganies and daily calquats, other trees just weren't worth the extra effort since I wasn't rushing to 99.
For construction there is a better way imo. Oak Dungeon Doors. Cheaper and there is a no mouse movement method. That's what I did to 99.

We need a new series, maybe a new chunk log ironman series or what about ironman pure challenges like only 1 def allowed
Also for construction if you have a mouse with side keys you can assign those buttons to the keys you need soc you can do contrcution 1 handed my cheap Logitech g305 has 2 side buttons and thisnworks with it it also has a button on top that i can assign another key to it if need be this is great with any skill

Gotta also get a mouse with a side button to assign a key to it so you can skill 1 handed my Logitech g305 has 2 side buttons and I assign 1 to escape to close bank and another for space bar to make all for w.e skill can 1 handed con , blast furnace , can 1 handed everything with it its chill af
Not prayer, since you gotta hit enter to go to another players house and as far as I know, theres no way of binding that key to another spot without getting macro banned
Also once you hit 88 smithing you can let your membership run out and finish 99 in f2p, make 10m in the process and renew your membership when you finish. This will save you 1-3 bonds depending on how much you play.
use the servant coin pouch for construction, it removes a dialogue interface step when the butler asks for more money once in a while.
This helps a lot to because with the high tier butler and when ur doing garden benches you will be able to use all planks in inv giving u 1 more xp drop a butler call

I did ensouled heads for prayer. Very afk and cheaper than bones. Bit slower, but still very doable.
Add hardwoods and calquats to your farming. They are some of the best xp per active hour for farming, and are dirt cheap too.
I love the “only bother with trees” for farming, as if I was doing herb runs for the XP 😅
Alt and drag inventory over range when 1-tick cooking to make mouse movement much less 👍🏻
for the shooting star one or just about any afk method just get idle alarm plugin and mute the rest of the game.

Not for the runecrafting is to use spellbook swap to switch to the arceuus spellbook and cast vile vigour, trading prayer for run, then recharge your prayer at the altar

I'm an online teacher, I work with live classes though, nmz is perfect for me while teaching online, i just alt+tab my laptop, drink absorb potion/overload/supermagic very fast, decrease hp to 1 and keep working, i just got str 90-99 in 13 days afk at nmz while avernic/fang, but, when I can play, I never spend a single minute at nmz lol, I much rather go boss, like bandos, arma, whatever or slayer, but yet, nmz helped me a big time to increase my cbt stats
And for farming doing grapes every hour at tithe u get like 70k xp a hour at a very low farm lvl you can get the amount of xp from all trees in a hour or so doing grapes at tithe def worth adding them in to atleast ur tree runs
I personally did a lot of nightmare zone while at work to high melee stats. I would say compared to slayer it's worth much more to just bust down your levels and then go do raids. Slayer really is terrible gp/h and everytime I see somebody with high slayer and low boss kc. They are broke. Also stick to green dhide body for crafting and don't do blacks. It's about 25% slower but is 15x cheaper. Thanks for the tips link;)
Exactly what I was gonna say then saw your comment. Also you can power train to 93 mele Stats and then just do slayer after that and still get a high slayer level off of getting 99 attack/str/ def
I personally trained at nmz to all 99 mele stats on alt and then doing slayer as afk for ranging/maging and I'm only 94 range on my alt and I'm going into the 80s slayer and I'll tell you that I shoulda went that route on my main instead of caring of trying to be "more efficient" to get as high as slayer level as possible while getting 99 stats. If you really wanted to be most efficient you would power level to 90+ combat stats in nmz and then start slaying, you'll run through those annoying low level slayer tasks/levels and get into 75+ slayer in no time which is where the better money makers start coming in

Honestly doing trees, fruit trees, and herbs is a great xp to profit ratio even if you just do one or two farm runs a day.

what is the plugin that has that tiny tag on items in invetory? i assume its to show the rarity/value of the item. i have one that puts a highlight around the item, but that one looks cleaner.
3 month late reply, but I think it's emote clue items plugin. Tags items that are used for clue steps with colors that match the tier

I like the way you 2 ticked those karams 😂😂 I did a 7 hour session right before leagues to go 92-99, I strongly recommend remapping your inventory in resizable mode if you actually want to 1t.
For Hunter AFK I still prefer Demonic Gorillas is still super afk compared to Herbiboar and it's a solid 90k-100k xp per hour

Hosedius kitchen reduces your burn rates and is still pretty afk

Im so glsd they added in those forestry camp fires aka bond fires for firemaking, as easy as WinterThot is, i want to afk as much as possible 😂😂😂😂 lame how its only 1/3rd of the xp tho, still cool, if i remmeber correctly they didnt take xp away from the bond fires because how long it took to do an inventory
on my ironman, i have to do nmz for the first time to upgrade my slayer helm, i hate it, i hate having to spend 26k every dream icl, but on a main where money isnt an issue i dont think id mind it
theres a new afk method of training agility with your house and building a dungeon! Look it up :)
Tried it, its really bad, 15k xp per hour and not really afk as you have to keep checking prayer and if youve finished the "course" hence why I didnt add it to this video

Remember when you’re doing WC, fishing or mining use the lightbearer ring once you can use dragon equipment it will increase your EXP per hour by around 15% you’re welcome

Be careful assigning the space bar to another task. I had it set up to be the click for the mouse cursor and jagex didn't like that one bit.
Same with screen casting to your cellphone to alch or fletch so you can just keep tapping your phone.
I got a 48hr ban and that's literally the only thing I can associate it with.
AFK is the best
Thieving AFK is real now - no more Ardy Knights! Go do Varlamore burglary. Getting keys is easy in the first place, and you get about 1min afk time between clicking. I went from 70->85 using this method and I'm never doing Knights again
Bro for crafting you are going to spend like 150m for 99 when theres some methods that take a few hrs longer but you brake even if not make gp blue chaps or bodys u used tocmake a good amount on too def worth looking into it more , but if anything cutting dragonstones is by far way more afk and only a lil less xp a hr than black body

I tell my friends who hate farming, it's the set it and forget it skill. Plant everything once, then just forget about it until you need the xp

Yup fish barrel to double the time before you bank and do barb fishing at CoX Bank. You can one click the bank then back to the fishing spots.

Slayer is impossible I gave up. The second you try you get killed by another player. They camp the mission zones and wait.

"Pin this mssg" its worth getting a mouse with side buttons so you can assign them to a key to do all these skills 1 handed! Have for esc to close bank another for space bar to craft or cut or fletch log this way you do not need to ever touch the keyboard! Same with herblore etc... it changes everything imo its so nice having a free hand all the time ❤

u can swap the construction one with build and remove now just with left click its the greatest thing
For anyone doing construction. 100% use the construction qol plugin and menu entry swapper, you can set it up to where you just hold down one and left click build left click remove left click butler. 100% brain dead
