@@Luke-vg7ut so i wondered the same thing with a monk build. You can put whatever skills you want on your bar, not just ones from the categories they recommend. Its an option in the gameplay settings I believe. Mine was turned on by default. Make sure it is on. Then when you are choosing skills click through the arrows on the top right and left in the skills menu and youll find all the skills. Just replace something you dont use with command skeleton or whatever.
Rhykker, awesome vid as usual. Been loving the new Rathma set. Another thing you can do if let say you find yourself too squishy to keep up Squirt's buff all the time is to swap it out for Haunted Vision's amulet. Essentially Simulacrum lasts forever at a cost of a constant but negligible 1% life drain per sec. With Reilena's, the AOTD nuke was awesome! 🤩
@@everydaynick8640 I swap out grim scythe for simulacrum reservoir. Then for paragon I max out essence to take advantage of Reilena's. With Haunted Vision amulet, I just activate simulacrum upon entering the rift and that's it. The only cons for this setup is since you have no generator, you must take Dark Reaping passive to gain essence per kill and have to command skeletons to smash doors lolz 🤣
Am I missing something here? Was playing on the Xbox, have the Shard of Anguish in a weapon rolled with poison, but the Command Skeletons aren't procing it. Are the revive minions refreshing it?
Two things: Sliver of Terror.........for the damage bonus when skills are on cooldown, instead of Blood Rush (which is clunky and often doesn't go full distance as it gets stuck on things), it would be better to take the Golem pet, for 3 reasons I'll cover below. Blood Rush is going to come off cooldown often. Rhykker talks about taking that skill for it's cooldown dmg bonus with the Sliver of Terror, but it's off cooldown too quick. It's best to have Land of the Dead (frozen rune) as that's a long cooldown, and it will trigger Tragoul's while things are frozen, or take the Golem. Also a long cooldown. So you'll get the damage bonus for longer. 3 reasons to take Golem: 1) It's a long cooldown as covered above, getting a longer damage buff from Sliver of Terror 2) Picking the Golem's physical stun rune, or the ice rune, if you're going the Tragoul's weapon route, those runes give you a long range stun, which triggers Tragouls 3) The Golem counts as your 18th pet, fully filling out the 31,500% six piece bonus of Rathma's I also remove Simulacrum as I don't run the Essence setup. It's better damage to do the Tragoul's route and replace Simulacrum with Decrepify - Borrowed Time skill

Ah I'm so glad Rhykker has confirmed a build that won't limit me at the highest GR level. Perfect for me to stop at GR100 after completing the season challenges like usual. ...Don't judge me.

Just a quick question: are they gonna ever fix the game freezing and the need to disable audio in order to not die in HC? This is the reason why people stopped playing D3 hardcore. Did they not get the memo since 3 freaking years?
You can "fix" it yourself by replacing a specific file in the Diablo 3 Folder. Your sound won't work properly but there will be no freezes or lags anymore, even with crazy builds like firebird.
@@RoxxSerm Won't work properly as in no sound at all or? :D I know the trick to use HotS audio driver file on D3 but I don't want to have to do it everytime I launch the game and most importantly I don't want to play with no sound.
Thanks for the video I'd like to pass the info that you can benefit the effect of the gem without rolling poison into YOUR weapon, it works too if the weapon of your follower has poison damage so you just need to equip the gem on you
I tested it ... having that extra pet is better than reillenas boost w simulacrum.... And for survivability esoteric alteration is better than molten guilderbeast. The shard of hatred is better than the sliver of terror

Love the idea, but it will still be extremely squishy. I don't understand why they can't boost Necro's survivability. It sucks when playing with friends and they get that extra gem up.
Man I just ran this last night and dog walked T10 I’m not complete in the build. Still upgrading gems and jewels I still need the bracer. I did switch and put Messerschmidt in my cube instead of tragoul scythe for more cool down
trying to understand how hes getting stacks in gorgoks constantly up to 15. the only thing thats triggering it for me is bone armor and army of the dead and im only getting one or 2 stacks of gorgoks at a time
I go… A - Command skeltons X - Bone armor Y - Simulacrum B - Blood rush RT - Army of the dead RB (assigned to right paddle) - Revive Without the paddle I’d probably swap Revive to Y and Simulacrum to RB. Also, Haunted Visions + Esoteric Alteration feels a lot better than Squirts + Molten Wildebeast.

Okay, I'm new to diablo overall. Can anyone please tell me how I can get the Rathma set this season because I don't know how. Everywhere I look I only hear how good it is and not how to get it beside how I earned it on my seasonal character last season. And I really don't intend on playing non seasonal rn. Is there even a way to get it without the season journey?
You get random set drops during Nephalem and GR runs. The easiest way probably is to level up seasonal Necromancer, take the season's Haedrig Gift and start using that character in gameplay hoping for set drops. If You get doubles, dont salvage them but convert set items in Kanai's Cube to get the missing parts. It get really easy to collect all sets once You start doing regular rift runs (solo or with friends). Yesterday, I completed the mastery for all four set dungeons for Necromancer class, which is half of those required for the third conquest this season (you need to master 8 in total) - and Necro dungeons are indeed the easiest of them all.
Necromancer chick became quickly my Diablo 3 Wifu after players for years with Demon Hunter, Wizard and Paladin now necrogirl won't let me switch builds XD

The atk speed I believe lets you, and by extention, your summons atk faster. By using faster atk speed your skeles will hit faster and bring Army of the Dead off cooldown quicker per your set bonus. I could be wrong, but I believe that's how it works. If not there's plenty of other ways like a Tasker & Theo

I hate it that its no longer the minions that do damage, but rely on one skill, army of the dead 🙁. Really hope they will do a real minion build where they do damage, the LoD singularity build is not as fun.
Why does everyone use LoD instead of the LoN ring set these days? Is it just better flexibility with regard to ring choices or what? It seems like LoD is a lower numbers version of the same thing
lol that's what your blood rush teleport skill is for...no need to break down the door using an atk skill XD Crusader has the same issue with the bombardment build, but I use steed charge for that too assuming its off CD

@@chriscampbell5892 well i wonder, army of the dead does 12k> percent damage, so will the 25% damage reduction from the soul shard affect it? Army of the dead cooldown time is drasticly affected by pet (command skeletons) attacks, 0,5% per attack, plus increases in damage 500% per pet; if you have the full Rathma set. So army of the dead is kind of a pet-related skill, if you want the most of it.
@@kim_yong_un yeah the 25% less damage is on your attacks so any non pet ability from the necro will be affected and the pets do little to no damage in the build so buffing them doesn’t really add a whole lot of extra damage
Eh, my skelle archer mages finished 120 in 1:30 pretty much every single run (I'm like paragon 1600) and I don't have to do much, so I'll pass. On pc My regular mages do 135 in 2 minutes at paragone 3k, so how is this useful? Safe to say Diablo 3 is dead, yo. Diablo 2 is where it's at if you want an army :P I have everything pumped in life and not int and it's easy as hell. Meta is don't play Diablo 3 anymore lol. I love the hell out of you though Rhykker

Hate to ruin it for you but minions don't deal any damage in this build. They only buff Army of the Dead damage and reduce its huge cooldown.

Do you need to talent into Simulacrum? What do you swap out?

I think you'd just do more damage with other gems. in previous seasons, where your mages were doing the bulk of it, that was fine.

Because there is only one ability that uses essence in this build and it is very rarely used after you encounter a pack you only have to cast once.

Eh, my skelle archer mages finished 120 in 1:30 pretty much every single run (I'm like paragon 1600) and I don't have to do much, so I'll pass. On pc My regular mages do 135 in 2 minutes at paragone 3k, so how is this useful? Safe to say Diablo 3 is dead, yo. Diablo 2 is where it's at if you want an army :P I have everything pumped in life and not int and it's easy as hell. Meta is don't play Diablo 3 anymore lol. I love the hell out of you though Rhykker
