@@nicktasteless360 i agree i lost 4 battles in a row, took a break and then won the last battle i needed to complete a task since i had stopped focussing on the last battles and focused on the current battle
I feel like war thunder can be very dependent on what time it is. If I’m playing in the mid morning I’m always surprised at how well I can do. If it’s 3am though (I’m in American pacific time zone) I’ll reliably get stomped on.
@@allancoelho6905 I meant more in the sense that you need to recognize when you're playing poorly because you're starting to get tilted. At that point, if you play more, you'll just spiral down.
Shoot USH in the side with 120mm HESH from a Conqueror, "hit", get shredded by several rockets to the skull. Should've used the APDS for such a heavily armored target, my fault
@@KekusMagnus A-5 is not a bad plane, but if you really want the most advantage in air RB you have to pick carefully. If you want to fly a 190 A-5 and have the most advantage, fly the A-5/U2 instead. 0.7 BR decrease to 4.0 and noticeably superior flight performance over the others due to decreased weight. 2x MG 151s with 500 rounds is still plenty of firepower. Also puts you well out of BR range of strong 5.7s. If you want to fly a German 4.7 that stands a better chance, I'd pick the 109 G-6 instead and take full advantage of the MW 50 to infinite WEP to altitude.
Something to note if you have anger issues with warthunder, as I suspect many of us do, this is not entirely down to you being an angry person, or having a big ego. The game is literally intentionally designed to make you mad. Basically everyone I know, even people who never get mad at any other video game, will get mad at warthunder. Why? Because, when you die, have a bad match, or lose in any other game, its whatever. Oh well. You move on, you play another game, you have fun even when you lose. Warthunder is a *job.* When you die over and over, its like youve been putting in the work for that job, and your boss has decided you just wont get paid this week. You are literally losing money ingame, and if that continues you will go broke and wont be able to progress. Its a very stressful prospect. Not to mention the issues with researching, every failed match makes that shiny new plane agonizingly far away. Combine this with the fact that the game really is rigged against you (At times. If youre an American player who constantly cries about russian bias, thats on you, but there are OP planes in any TT at any br, and facing them can be a nightmare even at their own br, but if its an uptier just say goodbye, not to mention the stock grind of later jets...) This game is a genuine threat to peoples mental health. It is designed to make them as stressed out, as unhappy, as angry as possible so theyll stockholm themselves into justifying 90$ for a virtual plane they wont even enjoy.
it makes me wonder how the game can be so addictive if people seem to hate the game so much, but I think what someone said in a reddit post about how all or most of the frustration from the grind and bad matches disappears you press 'to battle' and start another match is accurate, plus having one good game motivates people for a pretty long time to get that same joy, similar to how casinos operate
Battlepasses definitely seem to induce anger. I boot up WT. I want to play air sim. I look at sim tasks: All of them require hunting planes that might not even show up, assists which are unlikely or require 12 kills on a weekday when most lobbies are like 6v6. So I go play ground RB because it's much easier getting 8 kills quickly, but.. constant uptiers and it's a heavy tank task and... I got angry. Decided, fuck this. I'll just fly my zeros and corsairs and banshees and demons for fun rather than meta goals.
@@hclaimWar thunder is also only of its kind. So unlike with most games where you can just stop playing and install the competitor game instead. But With War thunder, you're stuck, there is no compatition. Closest is WOT which is far more casual (and kinda dying).
@@hclaim Its addictive due to the delayed gratification nature of the game. When you lose 5 matches but in the next match you are in the top 3 in your team and win, the dopamine shot is so strong, you can't help but press To Battle again. i've recognized this any time i got angry at the game. its super frustrating whenever im so close to unlocking the next vehicle im stuck in a bad string of matches. what could have unlocked the vehicle in 1 or 2 good games im going through 10 cause i kept getting sent back to the hangar with 0 kills. Luckily ever since i had a couple of good luck drops from daily logins with 1Mil SL, 3 month premium time on sale, and a couple of smart premium choices, i havent needed to keep worrying too much about SL since it come stupid easy now. Even without the premium time the vehicles by themselves are consistently good for me to just rack up enough to buy more vehicles and i'll definitely earn the SL long before researching the vehicle. But even with all that the research itself is always the constant problem. Needing to slave away at a whole rank to progress instead of just being able to b line down the tree. research vehicles that either suck dont care for. getting angry that my grind gets longer and longer the more i die. I would stay up and extra hour or 2 even when i need to sleep cause im just RIGHT THERE to unlock the vehicle but I keep DYING. Im just glad that, at least for Air, i wont be going through this anymore in 2 tech trees that im about to reach end of the line top tier for vehicles i've been pinning for. Then I can finally just play the game for fun and not worry about grinding or SL, at least not until newer vehicles come out, but by then I'll have every plane in the tech tree and i just need to research a single vehicle to get it so it'll barely be a chore. Still a ways to go for ground though but im not too far off in one tree and then i can use the end of the line bonus in the other tree. but once i get to top tier in ground for both trees im NOT picking up another tech tree. i've spent way too much time and money on this game as is and i just wanna be able to reach the light at the end of the tunnel and play the game on my own terms and be able to walk away knowing i dont have to pick up the grind again if i start playing again. Ironically i became obsessed with getting to top tier because when i was getting into war thunder my friends had the shiny cool modern jets and tanks for the time and i always felt bad having to drag them back down to WWII just so we can play together. but they've stopped playing for a long time and i've long since past them and now when they come back to play IM the one who has to come down to their BR to play with them lol.
If you played long enough you know deleting it won’t be the end, War Thunder gives you Stockholm syndrome and you’ll be sure to install it again in two years time just like I did.
Stopped in 2018, came back at the end of 2023. That's about 5 Years! When I have left the Hunter was the hottest top tier tryhard vehicle, and I came back to it being absolute trash and have planes from the 80's sling missiles at each other at top tier. And now we have Fox-3. So much for having Korean war era as top tier.
its called addiction. its like smoking or gambling. its the dopamine spikes in your brain every time the kill message pops up. thats what makes you come back.
Yea the take all deaths are the game faults are equally wrong has every deaths are my faults Getting bombed in a Maus is that my fault? Most probably not But I do acknowledge I am not a good player just above avg according to thunder skill And I am also not a kd hunter i just try to enjoy the game as much as possible
"You only have yourself to blame" Nah mate, i'm not GOAT, but I'm a good player, this is team play game (at least in ground RB), you need to relay on your team to do at least something. You often die due to over-extending, sometimes simply due to bad luck, and sometimes because your 21+kg TNT HESH that was designed to front kill IS-3 frontally, does nothing to it from the turret side. This is good game, nice mechanics ect. but there is a alot of bugs, which is understandable when you need to compute volumetric physics of shell hitting armor in less than few miliseconds.
I love when explosions cause the server to lag in air battles and it makes my plane drop 100 meters in altitude into the ground while leveling out. My fault, I shouldn't try to kill bombers with bombs while they hug the deck, I should obviously let them drop all their bombs first so they don't explode so violently!
The problem is when te bugs are *ALWAYS* against you. Looks like we have a pattern, here.. mmmhhhh... ah yes, it's rigged ! If the bugs were equally affecting anyone like 50/50 it would be ok to me. But when you are always the one screwed by those bugs that never affect the red team (oh what a surprise), that's called being screwed by the devs tand their dishonest practices...
Team composition might be the biggest source of frustration honestly. Grinding the German tree to research the Maus was one of worst experiences I had in this game and opened my eye to that. So many matches were just me and 4 other dudes trying to hold off the entire enemy team and eventually losing the match.
@@fridaycaliforniaa236 But what if there have been mutiple moments where I should have died but didn't? I've had a lot of times where an enemy shell non-pens even though it shouldn't have.
@@fridaycaliforniaa236Bugs do affect everyone equally. It's just hard to tell when someone else is affected by them from your own perspective. If someone tries to shoot you while you're behind a corpse you think "That guy is a moron" but in reality the corpse might not have rendered in for them. Likewise if you survive a shot without getting damaged you're just gonna think they have bad aim, not that HEAT decided it's gonna do absolutely nothing today.
Playing casual makes the game easier because Gaijin would probably pair you with weaker enemies.... I was the same last year but now the more I play the worse it gets🗿
I genuinely find the cancer of the grind fun for some reason. I might be a bit of a masochist but even if I die repeatedly its incredibly enjoyable to play.
“show of skill” and most of this guys have like 5000 kill and 200 death in some op plane like YAK-3 or Pyromersky but 0.8 kill per match. And all they do is camp airfield and attack only when they have absolute advantage
You're absolutely right on two counts. If you aren't having fun you should quit and you should consider if you are dying due to your own lack of skill before you start blaming everyone around you. However saying that you shouldn't blame the problems with the game (hacking, broken vehicles, terrible balance etc.) is a shit tier take. The game is not above criticism.
Maybe that came across a bit wrong? I tried to say that while the game IS broken in many aspects, you shouldn't use that as a scapegoat for your own failures
Idk man I'm not necessarily bad at air RB but whenever I see a teammate within 5km radius about to get smoked even when I am pretty sure helping it is a lost cause, and I am at a huge disadvantage, I for some reason rush towards them and we both dies for no reason. Peer pressure most likely.
@@fabioartoscassone9305 I'll probably try the Russian tree later. I've tried the british and American trees the last week...though I'm still a German main at heart
at the same time the 262 first flew in 1941, such an old design has to face jets from 1949, and the other versions gets worse (after all, it retired in 1951 but I have to face planes that entered service in 1951 and stayed up until 1964) and dont get me started on the 163, it faces planes from the 70's (some retired in the 2000's) that's why I'm grinding the USA tree btw lol
Well paying for WT is just speeding up the process of unlocking free content. WT has a lot more content than most games, at least when it comes to the vehicle variety. If you play GTA you have like a hundred cars and a couple of planes and helicopters. In WT you get several thousands. It’s of course not comparable 1 to 1.
@@Kuschel_Kwhat? you might as well put all those vehicles in a glass cage considering there’s one popular game mode which is RB. Other games actually let you use the stuff you unlock in a variety of ways.
War thunder vehicle packs are now as expensive as the most expensive DCS modules. Absolutely criminal to ask $80 for a single vehicle. I finally reached the point where I knew to log off when I started feeling frustrated. I would either make stupid mistakes or get gaijined and say "I'm gonna go play Black Flag. I feel frustrated already"
Criminal until you realize $50 in 2013 for a top tier premium is almost $70 in 2024. Pay another $5-$10 for missiles that now play the game for you with a press of 2-3 buttons and no skill is required... seems fair? If you want to argue over the $10 go ahead but you can just barely afford 1 McDonald's Meal with that $10. Kind of sucks for those DCS modules, I mean the $80 F-18 module came out in 2018 it should be priced at $100, ED is losing money on it now, what about War Thunder's T29 its been $40 since 2016, we should now pay $50, right? No one is really changing past prices because inflation sucks now, but don't be surprised when the new shiny toys account for how the economy is now versus when we started playing.
@@djmitchell2785 The F-18 probably turned a profit within a year or two of release for ED, so I highly doubt they are losing money on it without increasing the price to $100 Those modules are entire games. It can take years to learn every intricate detail and more are added every update. A war thunder vehicle is just polygons arranged differently. It is certainly not taking years to develop them like a DCS module. $80 is criminal no matter how you slice it.
It's extra fricked because now that Gaijin is raising prices, Eagle Dynamics is raising prices too... Updating textures on vehicles and charging an extra $10-20... The F-5E and A-10CII are going up $10. FC3 just went up $20 because they added a few more non-fidelity jets that barely function in-game.. Gaijin saw how much ED was making per aircraft and figured they could do the same. Now ED sees what Gaijin is getting away with and how much people are willing to pay for essentially Flaming Cliffs tier jets, and they want in on it so are raising prices and will likely increase the price of modules going forward. It'll go back and forth until we are paying $120 in War Thunder for an F-35C(the A and B will be tech tree) and $150 for all 3 variants as one module in DCS...
@@StealthySpace7 you had a problem with the price I am just pointing out that the price has only gone up $10 if you account for inflation and that inflation has made DCS modules seem to be more affordable since now the newest games are coming out at $70. And come on we all know War Thunder Sim is just diet DCS, no one cares about the number of buttons you need to press. If you just sit for a moment and think about the process to put an asset into a game. Give 6 months to planning and research for the vehicle, 6-12 months depending on vehicle size to create the 3d asset, textures, etc. and then some time for QA and bug fix. It's 2 years easy for an asset to get into game and artist leaks have proved this. DCS just has a few more details and interactions and ED has said it takes 3-5 years from planning to product. So if War Thunder is just rearranged polygons the DCS is is just some shinier polygons with a few more buttons to push. The only thing that sucks about DCS is that every plane comes out you pay for, and no one knows about how profitable it is but that F15E took a large hit with the Razbam leaving kind of made everyone pause and pray that ED is not falling apart.
@@djmitchell2785 There were no top tier premiums in 2013. High tier premiums were 20$ back then, i got the D-13 back then and grinded the entire german tree
I’m an arcade air main (bite me!), and for me, the thing which upsets me the most when I’m playing this game are the antics of my teammates. Refusing to play the objective, killstealing, refusing to coordinate attacks on ground targets during Domination, then somehow getting surprised when the AI tanks cap the airfields, ramming me because they have zero situational awareness, ramming my target after I set it on fire so I don’t get any points, the list goes on and on. I don’t think the game is rigged, but I _do_ think some teams _intentionally try_ to lose, and it’s absolutely infuriating. My personal method of cooling off when the teammates are being too annoying is to use my low tier (Rank II) lineup and play a few matches there. At this level, there’s less incentive to be a tryhard (so less killstealing), you get to play with newcomers who haven’t yet developed any bad habits (so they genuinely try to win) and there’s less stuff to think about. Just props, guns, bombs and cannons.
Teams can be a pain, I mainly play ground RB and there's a (very true) stereotype that German mains on *your* team are blind, deaf & cripple, but on the enemy team it's like an elite panzer division. Thing is, it's a free to play game that's super accessible on PC and consoles so it'll attract literal children a lot.
I will not bite you, arcade is valid, even if it doesn't give much in the way of rewards. I understand not wanting to climb for 5 minutes to then be slapped with a learning opportunity. Spawning in the air and immediately jumping into the action is preferable gameplay :D
That’s the main benefit for me :) - I am starting to practice with Realistic too, mainly because as I progress through the tech trees, less and less players stick with Arcade, but I wanna make sure I’m good enough before I invest in it fully.
@@Goofygooberston German mains tend to be blind, it's the most played nation, but I've been playing the big 3 and all of them have garbage teams. Another thing that annoys me is when all of the team goes in the same column, and the enemy gets to flank, destroy everyone and just drive to your spawn. Especially painful when your tank has a slow reload since there's little you can do even if you want to stop them.
I don't think most people get frustrated or angry when they just get beaten in a fight.. I think most people get angry or frustrated when they die because an engine sound isn't playing and the enemy just sneaks up on you, or the enemy just derenders infront of your eyes cuz they're sitting behind a certain kind of building that is mostly destroyed but technically the undestroyed building model would fully cover the vehicle. Or you suddely get 1% packetloss the moment you start shooting, or you get shot and are deemed dead even tho visually and according to the xray your plane should still be totally fine.
U can actually fly the plane and fix it on the airfield if it can still fly, even if you're counted as dead. I've my FW-190A & Spitfires wings torned off and been counted as dead but when I managed to roughly land them even though I was dead I was still able to take off and join fight again.
i dont get mad for dying i get mad because some tank has a tesla engine i get mad when i get a random ping spike that causes me to nose dive into the ground i get mad when my teammates are absolutely clueless (im spamming the chat and map for help and the 2 nearby teammates arent coming to help) i get mad when my team gets spawn sniped by an undertiered premium with a laser rangefinder and thermals i get mad when i have to use british solid shot, where it takes 2-4 shots to kill anything, with a slow reload
i get mad when you get a good kill streak ruined by CAS. I get mad when my breech breaks on a stock vehicle and no one's helping with repairs. i get mad when a stray .50 cal rips my wings off but my 30mm or my 20mm do literally nothing
I have an issue where all planes become completely transparent, besides SOMETIMES their missiles. INCLUDING MY OWN. So I have to try to gauge where I think people are based on the seated pilot whizzing around(if it is visible), and gauge where MY plane is pointing, oriented, etc, based on wingtip missiles. God help me if I fire said missiles, or don't have any, or they are centrally mounted...
I really like the gameplay, that is flying and shooting, but almost everything about War Thunder is designed to be as unfun as possible, including the painful grind. Let's start from the matchmaking. You must use it or you won't be able to unlock the vehicle you want, so you're stuck with it. No way to choose a game mode, nor the map, you're forced to play what Gaijin serves you. Why is that? I should be allowed to choose what I want. That's how it works in normal games, like Battlefield, Arma, Squad, DCS or IL-2. Now the economy, probably the worst aspect in the game. It's so predatory that one could write a whole essay about it, but to keep it short, it's a job simulator. Not only you have to spend dozens of hours (if not hundreds) unlocking vehicles, but you must also pay for them, and their modifications, and ammunition, and repairs. This is absolutely ridiculous. What makes it worse is that not having unlocked modifications puts you at disadvantage. Now one minor thing I also do not enjoy is the design of Air RB which magnifies the effect of annoying grind. Because it's not a continuous lobby, you must do well because you have only one chance. Your expenses and grind are an additional pressure put on you. It makes the whole experience so frustrating. The worst part is that Gaijin actually made a mode that was fun to play, it was Realistic Enduring Confrontation and it worked basically like a conquest from Battlefield... and they got rid of it. Which really proves my point that the game is designed to be as fun as possible. Glad to say that I finally clocked out after a few hundred hours, it's not worth my nerves.
Sim both air and ground saved the game for me personally. While they have their own problems i do enjoy them quite a lot and they are the main reason why i still play the game.
Sometimes I like to load up an air sim custom battle with just me and a bunch of bots. No stress, no consequences, no raging. Nice and peaceful single player fun. 🙂👍
I'm in a weird place with this, as what I tend to blame teammates for is not that I *died* , but that we lost the match. Because I actually care about winning the match. Seeing the whole team sit back and snipe when we need points, or they all died out and now I'm having to get through five guys just to get to the point to cap it (which I can, sometimes, do... sometimes.) I don't really care about deaths/kills as much as winning... and most of my deaths are caused by my playing *way* too aggressively. Or trying to spade bad vehicles because of my Completionist's Disease. I overall tend to blame the *Matchmaker* more than the other players when this happens though, as it doesn't seem to be able to properly make a balanced match. The *biggest* flaw this way is that it doesn't factor in vehicles beyond the top BR they have slotted. In particular, the guys that only have a single vehicle (often a premium) slotted and then leave the match after dying once. I've had cases where a *third* of my team only had a single life as a result of this, and the enemy team only had one or two people that didn't have a full lineup. It's almost impossible to win that, regardless of skill. Drives me bonkers.
I agree, they all rush and die and spawn planes and now you have no ground force to repel enemy tanks from zones, you get shot and get to perfectly safe cover and several friendly drive right past you and ignore you and then probably die by the same guy, that’s not our fault it’s the matchmaking
I completely agree, though I will say I do sometimes blame my teammates for my death but that's usually only if my teammate is sitting right next to the enemy that killed me and doesn't kill him or (I will admit I shouldn't) but as with you when I play too aggressively and end up all alone, and getting attacked by half the enemy team at once and seeing all of my teammates sitting just outside of spawn doing nothing.
I agree, 90 percent of the time I get like 8 kills on objective and my teammates are either pushing past and spawncamping and die or sitting and doing nothing so we loose. It's bad man
Man, I could have written that first paragraph myself almost word for word. I'm exactly the same way. Often I find that if I'm not actively playing objective my team just flounders. Which is always frustrating when you have serial spader's disease and are playing a non competitive lineup, just to watch your team fold around you because you can't support them very well. Or else you're the ONLY one playing objective in vehicles that aren't really up for it. At the same time, playing meta vehicles and sweating all the time gets boring too. Sometimes it's good to play some painfully bad vehicles every once in a while, just to get a bit of perspective haha.
I just hate how I'll be playing the objective while my team is sitting back not doing shit and I'll be ganked by like 3 enemy players that are actually working together. Like it just never happens on my side and if it does it's rare.
I have plenty of top tier jets but I don't enjoy the game anymore but I love customs with mates where we can make up rules and not have randoms who do whatever they want. 1v1s with my mates is my favourite thing about this game and the only reason I have not uninstalled the game yet.
The one thing that truly makes me rage in this game is CAS in GRB. If I die to some tank, most of the time it's either due to bad positioning, aim, and/or judgment, which is all on me. CAS on the other hand, especially in certain BR's, is fucking annoying and almost the equivalent to a developer allowed aimbot. Not even bad teams frustrate me as much as I can still make the best of that.
You're right. 10 kills 4 deaths was my best match in War thunder, not counting the seal clubbing because then it would be 13 kills one death😅 (in Ground RB, where I'm best at). The only thing I curse is the damned uptiering. My favourite vehicle for example is the Ho-Ri Production (I wonder why, I hear someone typing) and I often play with that on 8.3 instead of its BR (7.3 at the time of writing) but to get that BR I have to use my early MBTs which means that my 8.3 lineup in 19 out of 20 matches gets a full uptier and not only I have to face farely modern MBTs with APFSDS but also helicopters and aircraft with ATGM and everyone knows how top tier sucks. Imagine how fun it is to play a casemate TD from 1944-1945 (wooden mock-up) against an MBT from the 60-70's. Sure, it is viable for a short time but when I get that for 2 hours straight that can take a toll on my mental health. Especially when I mark and my teammates decides "yes, I'll go get killed there" or something similar because just by playstyle I can see that a lvl 10 Timi in his Turm III has balls of steel but 0 coordination. Or maybe I just always get pinned against the sweatiest WT players somehow. I see my flaws, try to improve but the game hinders that for me. And I won't even talk about Air RB because I just can't play that (For reference, I play on controller on console so I inherently have less option for setting controls)
I think i might know the biggest issue for you 9.3 (and 9.0 to a lesser extent) is one of the primary BRs for good premiums The ho-ri production is OP at its BR but at 9.3, it's free food.
Ho-Ri is a cool vehicle. I don't know what all the haters want. I still dont get behind people uptiering their WW2 stuff to 8.3 when they have the lineups already grinded. Like lad you will be doing better (probably) in a 8.3 vehicle. And the worst offender in that regard is the Panzer IV H. I saw not 1, not 2 but three Panzer IV Hs in a 8.0 match that was an uptier to 9.0. Well they were free food for my vidar. And they probably were premium Timmys with their premium Leopards who had no more backups Thanks for coming to my yap session
You should remap the bindings, standard controls are terrible. It might take a couple hours but it is worth it. Add combinations and once your muscle memory is trained it is much better. I play on ps, I have a couple game play clips on my channel and I would say I am okay-ish at top tier jets
@@CoolLink-Zelda i want the ho-ri at 7.7 or 8.0 Beyond that, your comment is more direct on what i was talking about, i had just forgotten the word "uptier"
I started playing war thunder because i've always been absolutely fascinated with ww2 prop planes, they're some of the coolest planes ever made. I have about 600 hours in the game, purely playing air game modes. i'm up to 8.0 in america and ussr tech tree now but i never see myself going past that because top tier just doesn't look fun at all to me.
After spending 300$ for GE on this game for the first time, I wouldn't say I'm disappointed in fact I don't have much time to play it, but it made me realize it's fun just to play and not for the grind, the best thing about it is when you realize your getting better! I get killed many times and I don't get mad, it's part of the game! It's the best game when you play just to play! The only thing I honestly wish would be them bomber cockpits to be done!
Let me recomend Bad Karma, he's making incredible gameplay videos teaching the players how to play top tier air rb. He uses the Misile knows where it is AI voice. Excellent gameplay and good notion to teach what he's doing
Sunken Cost Fallacy 😏 I noticed that WT burns me out when I mainly play it. But playing other games and some WT every other day makes the game a lot more enjoyable, since I don’t play enough to get frustrated. Also helps to just play for fun.
I absolutely love this game. It is exactly what I wanted ever since I was a little kid, the graphics, dogfights, and destruction... it is perfect. Nothing like winning a +3v1 furball that you had no right winning, that feeling of the tide changing mid furball and saying to yourself "oh I got all yo asses now!!" And I 100% agree with what you said. You HAVE TO play multiple countries to even have a shot at being good in this game, to know the ins and outs of every plane and what their weaknesses are. When I first started playing, all I wanted was the P-51D, B-17, and F-86, and I was DOOOOOOGGGGSHIITT!! with them, and what made things worse was that I won a talisman for my Sabre and played like 300 matches in it and only got like 180 kills... I was so bad at this game when I started because I thought the vehicles would make me unstoppable... it wasn't until I started playing stuff from other tech trees when I actually started to improve.
Feels like a majority of frustration comes from the fact that vehicular combat is incredibly complex. While there is many resources to learn plane combat, the amount of effort to actually learn them is so much more than your usual PvP game. You can't just point and click in WT and some concept can difficult to grasp for some people. It took me 100 hours before energy fighting click for me.
I’ve definitely made a change in the past to where I just enjoy logging in and playing some mid tier tanks. Will not play anything that pisses me off and if I do get pissed off will smash that escape button. Due to my grinding days I do have a pretty good variety to just chill and play whatever I’m feeling. Finding new lineups is always a good time
I like this game only issue is I have found to only like rank 6 and up for air and ground. Long grind for me since stock grinds are also not enjoyable and some vehicles are just bad and need to be balanced such as Italy ariete for ground. Grinding an entire tech tree to get a over br'ed MBT truly sucks. A nice addition is being a completist and also have the want for more futuristic vehicles and features to be added in the future , if you have both of those no matter how bad the grind is the game will have you coming back but having breaks every once in a while is nice.
the reason why I started war thunder was for the BT-42 and Panzer IV H. While grinding, War Thunder started getting fun and now I got Japanese ground, Russian ground and air, and 6.7 - 7.7 America, Germany, Britain, Italy, and Sweden
Indeed. My mindeset in 2018 was just "GRIND! GRIND MUST GET TOP TIER" and I did not enjoy the game Now I redownloaded the game in 2024 for the new shiny toys, but instead of focusing on only getting them I just enjoy the gameplay and the process of getting them. Not only have I started having fun in the game and improved, but I also gotten myself from financial debt (0 silver lions) to a half mil reserve. I also recently unlocked the F5E and I love the top tier, something many players seem to hate
Great advice. I've been saying much of what you have said here for a long time now. It's nice to see this it in a video where many can learn how to improve, where to direct their attention and focus instead of blaming others and Gaijin. I've told many players on social media that blaming others will only delay their own ability to become good players.
After watching players like Spookston and Polarfuchs, the trick to being good at ground battles (once you have basic knowledge on ammo types, where to shoot most vehicles, etc) is nearly all positioning and listening. I'm not a very good player because I tend to play very passively and don't follow those two pieces of advice regularly. I often play this game with no or very low sound and you can always tell when you're playing against someone who's actually bothering to wear headphones. You almost can't get the jump on them.
More than 90% of my playtime is for grinding new update vehicles, Events or Battle Pass, but from time to time I specifically go out of my way to have fun. I will pick planes I like to play, like Bf109G-6, Mirage 2000C*, Fw190A-5. And when I do I am surprised by how damn fun this game can be. It honestly make the grind feel worth it to me.
im glad i wasn't a war geek when i started, i just saw "hmm, funny explotion game, sounds cool" and got it for the fun and therefore have no particular goal other than progress and fun 4:05 shh, no one tell him about assault ground arcade or assault air arcade
My friend once asked me what my goal vehicle in War Thunder was, i answered with "I honestly dont know, i dont really have a goal. I just wanna get better, have fun, and eventually reach top tier"
Without repair costs, nobody would get angry. A Mig 15 costs 10,000 Sl if it is destroyed and the Mig 15 often gets an up tier so that you have to fight against rockets with this thing and constantly lose. When I use my BT-5 in high BRs, I am fearless and play much more successfully and relaxed. But when I use a vehicle where I have to constantly be afraid of being destroyed, I play completely differently and also less successfully.
In my opinion, repair costs should be reduced by 75%. I fond it absolutely ridiculus that starter jets cost more to repair than some top tier jets (even the shittier starter jets, like the me 262 a1a, which costs nearly 10k to repair when stock).
@@martinwellhoefer9159 I stopped playing the Russian aircraft tec tree just because of the repair costs of the Mig 15. I grinded up to the MIG-15 and then stopped because of the costs. Because I don't want to pay more than 10,000 SL every time I get shot down. Gaijin keeps putting new vehicle corpses that are lying around unused into the game instead of making sure that you can actually use these things. If you have a small fortune (1 million SL) and only use expensive vehicles that almost always get an up tier and you're broke again just from the repair costs... that's the unique War Thunder experience.
I definately raged quite a bit before. But now I've found the sweet spot of where I am having fun playing. I've gone far enough to find vehicles I like, or found ones to like. The FV4005 , Chaffee, F-5E FCU, T-34-85 for example. Then there's when I stopped having something running on a second screen (youtube for example) while playing. I felt more present in the game, giving me more mental bandwith to react, making me appreciate the fun times more, and have fewer unfun times. There'll be the occasional gaijin moment or death from a thing I didnt even see but eh, thats just life. I'm having enough fun to overcome those moments without falling into a rage now. Grinds have become less painful too, now that I'm enjoying playing, and playing better. And that's how I'll go on playing this game, especially now that I draw anime girls from in game vehicles and post them on yt to support myself through college.
I really can't stop second screening because the drive to the battle or initial climb(US late props) are super boring, just W until you get into position, especially with bad maps. I don't really have problems with enjoying the game tho, I do get frustrated some times but that gaijin no spall moments sometimes and the second screen really helps with that, or if I start zoning out.
Sadly I'm not having fun with the T-34/85. Don't get me wrong, as a tank it's pretty solid. My problem is the BR. At 5.7, full uptiers are almost certain every game, meaning that you find many monstruous tanks like the Jagdtiger, Ferdinand, American heavies, King Tigers, etc. The T-34 doesn't particularly excel in any aspect, it's pretty much your standards medium, which works quite well at 5.7, but the gun is very lacking against 6.7s, even a Tiger 2P feels like a bossfight. Especially since there's no APCBC, you have to choose between really mediocre flat pen but better at angles and range, or alright flat pen and garbage at everything else. If it wasn't for the uptiers, it would be great.
@@dfnxINC Wasn't much of a problem for me. I've been using the T34-85 in CQC. That means that most of the time I can pen the enemy somewhere in the front due to the close range, if thats not possible I can still flank or evade it.
@@alexanderd6793 and here I gave up air realistic to avoid the climb. That and if I get upset over the game, I'm probably not in the headspace to play it right now so I just turn it off and go do something else.
@@MatsuTanuki I love the aircraft but have been sadly relegated to playing Ground rb with CAS to actually enjoy them. and yeah if you get annoyed jumping into another match is the worst thing you can do, now it's way better but before where you could lose up to 10k SL per bad match it was a death sentence. Still find it insane that people think it's normal to be punished financially for playing the game and not being adequate, it's mostly been fixed tho.
I love this game so much, I’ve thrown about 2,100 hours in it, I only got to the point of loving it by doing almost everything you said in the video, there’s still improvements I can make but once you get to a point where you know how to evade everything thrown at you, it does become quite fun
Grinding for the dream plane was hard. Grinding it from stock was almost worse, it is in fact known as one of the worst planes in all of Warthunder and stock it really feels like it. But goddamn is the full kit Mig-21-F13 a relaxing plane to play in Arcade. Classic Vietnamese tactics, fly high with that interceptor engine and take big swooping passes like a medieval lancer. If the run doesn't look like it will work, just abort and retreat back to 4 km altitude in 30 seconds and rudder turn for the next pass. It's relaxing, and I'm glad the grind worked out in the end. Required a whole lot of thought to relearn flying to even use the thing given most of the guides are also not that helpful. If you want to maintain any speed never turn with the wing, tilt sideways and rudder was a big jump from hold S to win in older USSR turnfighters.
I can kindof argue the Ping point, when you are in CQB both you and the enemy has their guns lined up and shoot at the same time, if your ping is higher than 150 ms your shot will be voided, while his wont be, this is a major reason why i blame ping.
Honestly one of the most true and real videos on WT I've ever seen. The biggest tip I noticed wasn't in the video was that the true path to improvement is behind not caring. I've seen others in this comment section saying that "knowing when to log off" is important, and while that's true, id day that knowing to log off when you find yourself caring about a death is more accurate. Stop caring, start learning about why you died, and requeue fast. And great video.
Im at a point where i just play arcade once in a while. Nothing was more brutal for me than the jump from high tier prop to subsonic and then supersonic planes. Like, i had to relearn the entire game after unlocking the next plane, it was insane. Now i just blow up stuff with the f-105 and seriosly dont care about unlocking stuff anymore. Just like you mentioned, it really takes a lot of frustration and negativity out of the game
I am playing on a phone and the only thing that makes me angry is my gamestream screen turning into a 1950s pulse radar below 1km and my crosshair dissappear into thin air like those schizo amnesia edits
I agree with some of your points but you do really make it sound like this game isn't fundamentally broken in a lot of ways (volumetric, awful BR balancing, ect.) which is overwhelmingly the cause of any time I get upset at this game.
The key to overcoming warthunder anger is self-discipline, delayed gratification and outcome independence. I ONLY purchase vehicles during 50% off events meaning I can go months and months having multiple vehicles fully researched and not purchased. This has multiple benefits on both my mental state and how I approach the game. Gone is the stress of the "grind", because I'm unlikely to be able to buy and use the vehicle for multiple months. Gone is the stress of "winning" and "losing" for the same reason. Gone is the need to put myself in risky situations and accepting head-ons for guaranteed RP, and I can pace myself and play however I want to.
I’m doing good if I get two kills a game in ground but at the same time getting gaijined and borderline instant spawn killed for several games in a row what is there I can do, I get shot once in spawn and several team mates drive right past me and do nothing about it or even help me repair when I’m in full cover, in the last several games I’ve had someone atleast one-two br’s bellow me or I get one bellow a full uptier, I just wish there was things we could do about that, I enjoy the game it’s fun when you do well or have a balanced game or do a dramatic push and then get pushed back and are fighting for you life it can be really fun too but when you get steam rolled after 3 minutes and you can tell it’s a loss already because half the enemy team is a br above you and half you team br below you what can we do, not asking for an asset it’s just like…..
When the T-34 absorbs my gigaton TNT shitfuck shell because it hit the edge pixel of the drivers hatch and doesnt even turn yellow, it's my skill issue.
i was forcing myself to play Ground to play the Abrams but due to you i understood that i love dogfighting in not so dogfighters(bomber) or sometimes in actual dogfighters really man thanks for the help so are goated i liked and subbed
1v1 duals are fairly different from normal matches, 1v1 duals are all just the fight itself, and in an actual match to do good, you usually want to avoid that fight as much as possible. Usually in a match you gotta do positioning, make sure you pay attention to all the enemies, and knowing how to take care of all the vehicles. In a 1v1 dogfight it’s just knowing how to 1v1 dogfight really
Some people honestly should be saying they're good at one particular server rather than at a game, because I can tell you the moment I swap from SA to CIS I can no longer read my enemy movements lol. Nice video and clips tho.
1v1 in planes is the most fun part of War Thunder. I wish there was a official queue for this. Air RB is not satisfying when it's hordes of planes and mostly third party kills.
I don't watch content creators to learn, i watch them to stay motivated. This has actually been historically true. During my siege era i watched meatymarley and others like him because watching people enjoy the game actually made it easier to not tilt every death. Sure, i probably caught a trick or two watching odd, spookston etc. But the main value is seeing people both overall enjoy the game and perform well. And as you get better you'll generally reduce tilt even more because you can recognize the "i shouldn't have overextended" moments.
As much as I love this game I find there’s 2 main things(besides a big skill issue on my end) that gets me mad Rng/luck and repair costs. With luck, well I’m unlucky and I often find scenarios where no matter where I fly or how I fly I’m usually facing a 2v1 minimum. And with repair costs deaths have a ‘sting’ to them. You didn’t just waste time by dying, you always wasted what time you spent on the last match
I think the only time I quit War Thunder was when Seek & Destroy was released and Sweden players had to grind a new Gripen to get Fox-3s and the BR was still 12.7-13.0
Honestly yeah. I was bad till I try to stick to one plane (ki-61 for me) and try to learn the from the very basic acm to energy management. I got better after 400 battles and eventually continue to grind all the way to toptier. It was awful but since I have the knowledge I don't suck so bad and able to manage to get to f15j(m) last month
I have real flight training and understand the physics of the aircraft. I had that going in when I bought the F4S. I also played DCS, so I had a very fairly positive K/D. As a result, my time was really positive, I really enjoyed to the game and got to top tier in like a month. I have stopped paying because I invited my friend to play with me, I player lower tier with him and he just couldn't understand it. He ended up getting so frustrated he bought the F4S, too, because that's what he wanted to fly, and he was annihilated all of the time. I realized that my top tier success is because half the people I'm playing against are level 10 or 15 and I'm level 70. I have WT downloaded to all of my computers but I barely play. I can't understand and get behind a $70 OBJ file with minimal interactions and none of the actual systems model. If Sim had DCS level systems operation and management, I would have really enjoyed the game. Career mode / missions are 100% broken, too. I like the idea of a fairly casual, very light, VR missions / careers but it just doesn't work. The game is pretty bad, the game is too loopy and devs don't care to give us EC back because people actually enjoyed playing the slower paced gameplay.
Just got to 6.7 and boy the dying is so frequent i don't think its my fault anymore when I'm looking at the uptiers i find myself going up against. So my strat is to find high tiered tanks in my team and stick with them by acting as a scout/support vehicle and even then that doesn't usually work well since I'm also the involuntary screen despite hiding behind the massive turtle tank for protection. And the rounds...yeah i can understand why someone commented that the 7 to 8 br is a nightmare and i haven't even gotten there yet.
The hardest thing for me when I reached top tier (mig 15 was top tier these days) was to stop getting angry when I died but when I accept dying, game became much much better, im playing top.tier rn and to have fun you need to stop getting angry when you die, get happy when you get a good game and in bad games just go on to antoher one, dont go for being the Best just enjoy playing those beautiful machines
My only real gripe about this game is always getting killed at over a kilometer way because of how mouse aim works. For context the maximum engagement range in ww2 was 600m
I rarely curse the game and most often log out when it simply doesnt works anymore. But when i actually curse the game, its due to some bs like the L3 with my mouse and deflects the shot.
I thought being in high tier tanks would be awesome. Then I realised how very different high tier is compared to WWII mid tier, so I stay at 5.7 to 7.0.
Bought my 1st plane yesterday, the SU25K, very decent plane at ground rb, at air rb it becomes a horror game, you avoid everything until you get to the bases, and if you do get there alive (you wont most of the time, but still, you can somewhat guarantee at least a kill) you're set for that game, on air ab it's not that good, you need to sit out of the fight all the time, but everyone that gets out of the furball comes after you so, even staying out of it will keep you entertained, the way you play air ab and ground rb is very similar, stay out of the fight picking off targets from afar because of kh25 and kh29 missiles, and if an enemy fighter approaches you, there's still some tools to defend yourself, if they're on your 6, you're dead with no way to avoid it
Worst part is every premium gets a be increase after it comes out, forcing it to fight stuff it can barely compete against. For the jets the F5C, J35XS, Mig21 Bison, and J7D are prime examples of this. All got their BRs increased for seemingly no reason. Just about every premium suffers from it. God forbid if a plane is decently agile then that’s and extra be increase.
t used to make me angry, but thats when i was addicted to the grind. but now i have given up. i take good breaks from the game sometimes weeks. Now i enjoy even i loose the game. maybe it helps that im above average player. i can almost always get more kills than deaths. all i get to say is since i given up the grind and start casually playing i really enjoy the game. and still grinding playing things i love to play.
My loop >play GAB >get angry at team mates who cant see the obvious enemy >play G RB >get striked from orbit by CAS and killed by a tank 2 km away >play A RB again >happy.jpg >"i want to play the Tiger II" >repeat
@@CoolLink-Zelda LOL. If you are tierd of CAS, just play CAS yourself..... And stay away from top tier. Now i mostly play around 5-8 BR range. I dont know about Air RB tough, i only play Ground RB
My number one rage inducing thing in this game is teammates I know I'm average but I sometimes I get randoms that are on another level of being absolute crap at the game the worst is loosing a match while being the first of the match with a ton of kills. At least in tank battles I experience this with teams that sit in the back doing nothing helpful.
I got into the game because it’s truly fascinating that what we control with our keyboard and mouse was actually controlled in war by people my same age
I came back just a week or two ago after a 2+ year break. And all I mainly played last time was ground battles. That being said this time I came back with the mindset of not grinding, just playing and enjoying what I remember being really fun 7 or 8 years ago. And I've been having a blast just sticking around 3.0-4.0 air battles mainly running japanese tech tree so i can dogfight, constantly getting 7-0 8-0 and even 11-0 games just having a blast. Remember kids don't turn fight a zero, they never learn.
@@Phehistyr yeah but at that point if youre in a monoplane trying to turn fight a biplane theres not much that can be done for you in general, thats just a lost cause. excluding the p26 and other obvious monoplanes that are on the same level as biplanes. but thats why i love wt theres always enough people that make it far enough without learning anything
My games improved when I stopped grinding and played because I wanted to play. I wanted to learn the intricate details of what I'm playing, and if I don't enjoy it, I go play something else. I started watching other UA-camrs and having 1v1's and watching replays to know what went wrong. If you play for the sake of enjoyment and learning, even when you get clapped, you're alright. I'm currently grinding the first MiG-21 of the German tech tree, I'm gonna get it in a couple of games, 1 week, 1 month maybe next year. I enjoy the process, and usually I play super chill when I get something stock like really the game is rigged against you when you're stock. Ask me when I just unlocked the F-4EJ.
Honestly WT is probably the only online pvp game where I actually don’t care one bit if we win loose or I get a nuke or not and I NEVER check my stats I just simply don’t care and it’s so liberating
The art of knowing when to log off for the day is also quite underrated.

If youre an American player who constantly cries about russian bias, thats on you, but there are OP planes in any TT at any br, and facing them can be a nightmare even at their own br, but if its an uptier just say goodbye, not to mention the stock grind of later jets...)
This game is a genuine threat to peoples mental health.

@@hclaim Its addictive due to the delayed gratification nature of the game. When you lose 5 matches but in the next match you are in the top 3 in your team and win, the dopamine shot is so strong, you can't help but press To Battle again. Its similar to winning the lottery but with MUCH better chances of winning and it keeps you hooked.
i've recognized this any time i got angry at the game. its super frustrating whenever im so close to unlocking the next vehicle im stuck in a bad string of matches. what could have unlocked the vehicle in 1 or 2 good games im going through 10 cause i kept getting sent back to the hangar with 0 kills.

@@meki___6881 Clearly your fault, shouldn't have brought your flat top tank into game.
So many matches were just me and 4 other dudes trying to hold off the entire enemy team and eventually losing the match.

kdr doesnt even mean anything in war thunder because you can just play turbo passive or camp airfield
@Liniyka oh yeah. Definitely. If someone starts bitching about something being broken when it isn't, then you just say "Git Gud Noon" and move on.
Yeah because, i know i suck... but someties it is just obviously unfair
Just stop playing for a few months. I did that and came back and I could actually get a kill with french 7.7 tanks
@@The.Drunk-Koala French 7.7 was the best from the french. I miss it. Char 25 was my favourite.
me: getting angry at teammates for just standing there not supporting me
also me: sitting there when a teammate is getting shot cause I'm scared
I would have a dollar for the amount of times I stopped and backed away after witnessing a teammates' turret gets yeeted to the stratosphere
@fabioartoscassone9305 trees? Problems not? Period why?
@fabioartoscassone9305 you mean the premium stuff? Frustration induced purchases?
I too, have never lost a turn fight against a zero in a bomber!
Taken, I have never played bombers but still.
I mostly get annoyed when a post-war paper plane with a turbine engine is fighting mid-war props that were scrapped in reality by 1943.
Try out Sim battles, thats the definitive way to play WT.
at the same time the 262 first flew in 1941, such an old design has to face jets from 1949, and the other versions gets worse (after all, it retired in 1951 but I have to face planes that entered service in 1951 and stayed up until 1964)
and dont get me started on the 163, it faces planes from the 70's (some retired in the 2000's)
that's why I'm grinding the USA tree btw lol
War thunder casually setting the price as high as a AAA game a company would sell
Considering the AAA titles they're not even worth it
Well paying for WT is just speeding up the process of unlocking free content.
I play to crush my enemy, see them driven to the hanger by me, to hear the lamentations of their teammates
I do the exact same in sim
@@djmitchell2785 The F-18 probably turned a profit within a year or two of release for ED, so I highly doubt they are losing money on it without increasing the price to $100
Those modules are entire games.
Game companies should realise i would rather spend 20$ to buy a new game than 100$ on one jet in an already broken game
Ill bite you, what’s your address?
I've my FW-190A & Spitfires wings torned off and been counted as dead but when I managed to roughly land them even though I was dead I was still able to take off and join fight again.
i dont get mad for dying
i get mad because some tank has a tesla engine
i get mad when i get a random ping spike that causes me to nose dive into the ground
i get mad when my teammates are absolutely clueless (im spamming the chat and map for help and the 2 nearby teammates arent coming to help)
i get mad when my team gets spawn sniped by an undertiered premium with a laser rangefinder and thermals
i get mad when i have to use british solid shot, where it takes 2-4 shots to kill anything, with a slow reload
i get mad when you get a good kill streak ruined by CAS.
I get mad when my breech breaks on a stock vehicle and no one's helping with repairs.
i get mad when a stray .50 cal rips my wings off but my 30mm or my 20mm do literally nothing
Exactly this guy is on some copium “don’t play” is not an argument 💀
Try EC Air Sim
0:15 nah, The only times that I raged were beacuse I was stressed (not the game's fault)
I agree with you, but except when I non pen a light vehycle with conqueror with "the best apds in the game" 😂😂😂
@joaocarlossallesgomes2438 Yeah, i can feel you
Great take on the game. Also our dogfight was epic af :D
Sim both air and ground saved the game for me personally. While they have their own problems i do enjoy them quite a lot and they are the main reason why i still play the game.
Yes sim is the best in my opinion.
"No matter what mode, you have to fight other players"
-Completely forgets about assault modes
TBH some of those modes are cruel in the little experience I've had with them lmao
3.3K hours in, Its all down hill from here
I have plenty of top tier jets but I don't enjoy the game anymore but I love customs with mates where we can make up rules and not have randoms who do whatever they want. 1v1s with my mates is my favourite thing about this game and the only reason I have not uninstalled the game yet.
watching this right after getting off the game. always best to get off before getting too emotional
Yeah, once you start playing sloppy and not having as much fun you should log off because from that point it'll snowball.
Su 34 is the worst
In Australia, the most expensive packs are $120 dollars
And I won't even talk about Air RB because I just can't play that
(For reference, I play on controller on console so I inherently have less option for setting controls)
I think i might know the biggest issue for you
9.3 (and 9.0 to a lesser extent) is one of the primary BRs for good premiums
The ho-ri production is OP at its BR but at 9.3, it's free food.
And they probably were premium Timmys with their premium Leopards who had no more backups
Thanks for coming to my yap session
You should remap the bindings, standard controls are terrible. It might take a couple hours but it is worth it. Add combinations and once your muscle memory is trained it is much better. I play on ps, I have a couple game play clips on my channel and I would say I am okay-ish at top tier jets
@@CoolLink-Zelda i want the ho-ri at 7.7 or 8.0
Beyond that, your comment is more direct on what i was talking about, i had just forgotten the word "uptier"
"Because what should i do acording to defyn if i suck" brooo, that my line
I’m a demon in that all chat
I've been through both War thunder and WoT, both gradually ruined by greed
Man I wish there were more competition in the market for this type of game
The reason I am sometimes angry when I die is not because I died but because I can't afford the repair costs
you can or you can't?
@torindechoza7266 oops
I was Supposed to to put can't
HARD agree. I was having difficulties playing top tier fox 3 meta until I analyzed his videos and they seriously do help.
the only reason im ok at this game is because i play italy because the vehicles usually suck unless you play air but they are really fun
Breda 501 my beloved
If I get crapped on while playing I usually just switch to another nation/plane and try my luck elsewhere
I’ve spent so much money on WT it’s too late to just “let go”😭
Sunken Cost Fallacy 😏
I noticed that WT burns me out when I mainly play it.
Nothing like winning a +3v1 furball that you had no right winning, that feeling of the tide changing mid furball and saying to yourself "oh I got all yo asses now!!"
And I 100% agree with what you said.
8:49 . I... just like to make my time between school and sleep quicker... like... not the greatest situation for me right now.
GRIND MUST GET TOP TIER" and I did not enjoy the game
Now I redownloaded the game in 2024 for the new shiny toys, but instead of focusing on only getting them I just enjoy the gameplay and the process of getting them.
It honestly make the grind feel worth it to me.
im glad i wasn't a war geek when i started, i just saw "hmm, funny explotion game, sounds cool" and got it for the fun and therefore have no particular goal other than progress and fun
4:05 shh, no one tell him about assault ground arcade or assault air arcade
Sometimes a break is all you need
You have no idea how badly this needed to be brought up in this community, thank you
Best way to have fun, get a small group of friends, get a ratty vehicle, and do dumb 💩 absolutely impeccable gameplay
My biggest irony is that i know how to manuvre but have issues with shooting as i cannot differentiate from il2 sturmovik and war thunder
I remember having the most fun early on when I started
driving the first Pz 4 in Ground Arcade
The best wt video Ive seen for a long time, keep up with that :)
Also the question "Do you like the gameplay?" is not really easy to answer. Because gameplay varies so much from game mode to br.
When the T-34 absorbs my gigaton TNT shitfuck shell because it hit the edge pixel of the drivers hatch and doesnt even turn yellow, it's my skill issue.
i was forcing myself to play Ground to play the Abrams but due to you i understood that i love dogfighting in not so dogfighters(bomber) or sometimes in actual dogfighters really man thanks for the help so are goated i liked and subbed
the F4E is good. agile eagle makes it ok at turning, and good missle good secondary weapons
As always onlu fax in this video hopefully more people will discover your videos. They are gold. Keep it up my guy!
6:52 no wellington.... I had loads of fun spading those, lots of turnfights and turning off my brain with them back in the day ~9 years ago
When you put it like that I’m not sure why I play games, most of the ones I actively play I don’t enjoy
As much as I love this game I find there’s 2 main things(besides a big skill issue on my end) that gets me mad
Rng/luck and repair costs.
Sounds like you might enjoy sim then
I rarely curse the game and most often log out when it simply doesnt works anymore.
Now i enjoy even i loose the game. maybe it helps that im above average player. i can almost always get more kills than deaths.
all i get to say is since i given up the grind and start casually playing i really enjoy the game. and still grinding playing things i love to play.
i do too but there is a massive teamwork problem
@magma2680 just forget about winning. Go for kills,
My loop
>play GAB
>get angry at team mates who cant see the obvious enemy
>play G RB
>get striked from orbit by CAS and killed by a tank 2 km away
>play A RB again
>happy.jpg
>"i want to play the Tiger II"
>repeat
@@CoolLink-Zelda LOL.
If you are tierd of CAS, just play CAS yourself..... And stay away from top tier. Now i mostly play around 5-8 BR range. I dont know about Air RB tough, i only play Ground RB
@@mehuna66top Air RB is on fire since FOX-3 update
Best to stay away
My number one rage inducing thing in this game is teammates I know I'm average but I sometimes I get randoms that are on another level of being absolute crap at the game the worst is loosing a match while being the first of the match with a ton of kills. At least in tank battles I experience this with teams that sit in the back doing nothing helpful.
I got into the game because it’s truly fascinating that what we control with our keyboard and mouse was actually controlled in war by people my same age
There is a full PVE mode, which is helicopter battles, found in the event tab
I came back just a week or two ago after a 2+ year break. And all I mainly played last time was ground battles. That being said this time I came back with the mindset of not grinding, just playing and enjoying what I remember being really fun 7 or 8 years ago. And I've been having a blast just sticking around 3.0-4.0 air battles mainly running japanese tech tree so i can dogfight, constantly getting 7-0 8-0 and even 11-0 games just having a blast. Remember kids don't turn fight a zero, they never learn.
The premium Chaika with cannons feasts on Japanese planes that are used to turn fight everything. It is my main guilty pleasure in this game.
