      @@hinfeifung3749 he is a top tier IM and only about 25 or 26. Even Hikaru said that the only reason he isn't a GM is because he concentrates on streaming and teaching more than studying and playing in tournaments. So he might very well become a GM.

      Played my first kings Indian today (I’m 870) against a 990 and I got an immediate advantage to win the game

    I was almost asleep when 50:22 happened and it completely woke me up. I am Russian, therefore 50 minutes of english speech with sudden change to pretty good rusian completely took me by surprise 😁

    I wondered why YT suggested this specific video all of a sudden. Good content aside, my guesses:
    1:02:07 -- don't lose your title by taking a phone to the bathroom and using an engine
    or
    47:31 -- all the reasons that made Levy decide it wasn't worth putting in the effort to become a GM.
    First one is surprisingly topical. Second one is an interesting contrast to see how people change their mind over time. Props to random guy who hopped into chat to be optimistic about the GM idea. If he's still around, I'm sure he's happy with the current course of events.

    For the Twitch viewer(s) who wondered about "LevyEnRose", it's a reference to "Le Vie En Rose" - a song that probably all have heard, but maybe not everyone knows the name of :) BTW brilliant reference, Levy, I just love that sort of wordplay.
    Also, huge thanks for these speedrun/climb series - got me up to 1300 rapid, which is a lifetime first, and will probably provide educational value for hundreds of rating points to come (assuming I ever climb those hundreds of rating points).

      Yes and probably the second reason for this name is because Eric Rosen plays the London system a lot (Levy and Eric had a match in which Rosen had to play the London every single game). And good job on improving your chess, what is your rapid elo now? :)
