In chess openings, beginners often struggle with early queen moves. This can lead to the Scholars Mate or other traps involving tactics that lead to losing material. In this video, I hope to show the Wayward Queen Attack and other opening garbage that you can defeat and not worry about anymore.

When you try for scholar’s mate, blunder your queen, but win the game anyway. 800 elo life is wild.

I actually had to look up with an engine how to counter the scholars mate because it happend so often so i wanted a good counter😂
And yes, i’m also 800 Elo.

And it's an ahole thing to do when your opponent is less than 900. It took me 6-7 times of being checkmated like this till I actually noticed how good the knight move is. Now I rarely ever panic when the opponent tries to be smart and cool with this attack.

This kind of play takes you a lot further than just beating bad Queen openings. A lot of games below 1000 just have openings that aren’t exactly straight from the database, sometimes dudes are just gonna throw pieces around. When people do terrible openings it’s just important to stay principled, develop the center, and wear down the opponent.
Had someone try to Scholar's Mate me with Qf3 a few days ago.
He lost in 14 moves.
I hate early Queen attacks, they only work on beginners and it's not a fun experience for them. I feel like people who play early Queen attacks are low level bullies that end up driving new people away from the game.
It is my personal mission to punish Qf3 at every opportunity.
I mean im rated between 1000 and 1300 (not sure if that is low to you) but i personally like early queen attacks because they lead to complicated positions rather than hunting for an early mate

The trick is developing while attacking the queen so he has to keep dancing around while you develop, trading everything evenly and quick, force an endgame fast, don't fall for the early queen traps, nelson sucks so much at the endgame
Yeah
He sucks at endgames
I beat him in few moves. He doesn't even care about his kung. He's so greedy taking every pieces
I like to think of a queen like a tank. The rooks are light tanks but the queen is a heavy.
It's a piece that has tremendous firepower and maneuverability. When you get used to using it properly it makes your chess way better.
One big difference: tanks are heavily armored and can stand shots from lighter weapons. The queen on the other hand has to run and hide as soon as she gets threatened.
Glass cannon is a good term
I'd say that the queen is actually the light tank (or LAV) and the rooks are heavy tanks. I'm mostly referring to maneuverability and usefulness. While tanks are very scary and all that, they have a hard time roaming the area and are very situational, whilst LAVs are more flexible and have much more use than just tanks
What about more of a sniper? Queen has the most maneuverability but deadly against singular targets, whilst being vulnerable. Rooks are more like aircraft, as they travel with a wingman sometimes. The queen is the special ops piece, versatile but weak on its own
This is how to beat the Nelson bot omg finally
