This is my first opening strategy I’ve tried, I always played e4/5 and brought out knights. This generates so many amazing options. I have a lot of work to do but things are starting to click. Mistakes have greater consequences but they seem more obvious to avoid.
thanks for this video. i found it helpful. my instincts for when to push e5 are typically 1 move later than necessary, for trying to do too much preparation. i see now the advantages to pushing e5, as well as f5, a step earlier.
I think you're starting to find your sweet spot between humble arrogant. very professional commentary on the recent pro matches, more so this time than the Hikaru vs nakamura I saw previously. You're growing in to streaming well keep it up and don't let the trolls get to you :)

Am I missing something about the position at 22:55? If Levy goes Queen f7 then his opponent can go either Knight g6 or Knight f8, but the Queen can take the knight on g6 and not be pinned by the other knight. What prevents Qf7 here? Edit: ohhhh the knight to e7 is a fork between check and the queen so he’d lose his queen. Just goes to show, always be on the lookout for checks both defensively and offensively!
I practiced the Kings Indian for a few games and although it was all right I often found it difficult to mount an attack. Thank you, this video helped clear up a few things and I think I can try again with a better understanding of the core strategies.
Gotham I have been watching the rating climbs trying to learn the Kings Indian better from the black side and in the first video you say to attack the bishop if white plays bishop C4 but in the second video when it comes up at 42:14 you play the knight to C6 rather than the pawn to attack. This C4 bishop gives me lots of problems cuz of pinning my F7 pawn when I castle. Why did you not attack the bishop when playing higher rated players?
At 14:52 when the queen and bishop lineup and opposite sides castle, can this be considered the 150 attack or is that just against the Pirc and it wouldn’t work since this is more of a KID?
